Description

Retirement Administrator is responsible for the oversight of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) with regards to regulatory reporting, regulatory updates and daily management of the accounts. Responsible for the management of retirement staff (IRA Representatives, Specialists and Leads) to ensure all tasks are completed accurately, timely and within regulatory requirements for auditing.

Job summary


The Business Banking Specialist maintains a high level of expertise in the products and services designed for business & non-profit clients. This position has knowledge of multiple financial services, including cash management, and services new and existing customers in a manner consistent with the sales, service, and operational goals of the bank.   • Originates consumer and small business loans for business clients. Processes advances on loans and manages loan activity.
  • Interviews clients and sets up products and services specifically designed to meet the needs of the business and non-profit customers. Calls on existing customers to develop new and/or additional business and to protect and strengthen existing profitable customer relationships. Opens commercial, non-profit and personal deposit accounts, to include preparing signature cards, corporate resolutions and account documentation.
  • Review daily overdraft report and work with Lender to decision whether to pay or decline check.
  • Achieve compliance certification and use knowledge of compliance/CRA regulations in day-to-day activities.

Experience and Education

Job Summary


The Business Banking Support Supervisor is an experienced Business Banking Specialist who can support all lines of commercial business. In this role, you will assist in training all new team members, facilitate workload management, and have input in department strategy, goals, and operations. Additionally, you will prepare commercial loan documents and provide direct support to commercial banking team and clients.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities



  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the people, processes and work of the business banking support function within the market such as: working with new and existing business clients for new accounts, loans, all general account inquiries for both loans and deposits, and troubleshooting of all types. Coordinating commercial loan documents for lending officers, reviewing loan documentation, facilitating the loan closing process, partner with other areas of client support to enhance the client experience, among other commercial sales support tasks.

Experience Needed:

  • Significant experience with banking software such as Jack Henry and LaserPro is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience leading people in a formal capacity is strongly preferred.
