This role is looking to hire software engineers capable of working in a collaborative integrated product team environment helping to implement various features of safety critical and/or mission critical flight software. POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Miami production facility, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, team management, quality control, and customer delivery. Job Summary:
The Project Specialist supports project cost and financial control activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting. As a Project Engineer/Assistant Superintendent, you are a part of the project management team and will have the opportunity to assist in obtaining, evaluating, and coordinating all information needed to construct our projects in accordance with the contract documents. Our Project Engineers/Assistant Superintendents have responsibility for the protection and promotion of the interests of Killian on our projects every day. This role will also verify that the work meets all safety standards, is within schedule requirements, and is constructed to the highest level of quality that meets the budget. This hands-on role will collaborate with project field operations to make sure project information is delivered, understood, and implemented and will spend time both in the office and at the physical construction site.
Responsibilities
SAFETY:
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements at all times.
- Assist in the implementation of our site safety program as needed and ensure subcontractor compliance with Killian safety standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
PEOPLE:
- Act as a liaison with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, other Killian job staff and ownerβs representatives in resolving issues related to plans, specifications and field constraints or discrepancies.
- Attend meetings with other contractors, client, or A/E representatives to coordinate our design and construction efforts.
- Develop reports such as General Conditions Items, labor, safety, change order logs, quality control, status reports, punch lists describing work to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc.
- Support and promote companywide internship programs
QUALITY:
- Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (including Killianβs contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes).
- Participate in the preparation of various studies, recommendations for materials and methods, and cost estimates.
- Assist with submittals and shop drawings, assessing conformance to contract specifications. Work to resolve any differences in interpretation.
- Manage drawings and specifications to ensure the most up-to-date versions are being used throughout the project.
- Verify that all our completed work aligns with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
SCHEDULE:
- Assist in scheduling and managing assigned subcontractor trade coordination meetings, look ahead planning meetings and submittal review meetings.
- Be responsible for the supply chain of materials for assigned scopes to ensure they are onsite when needed to execute the work.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date production visuals and site logistics plans.
- Assist with our production tracking process.
COST:
- Assist Project Managers in negotiating change orders, managing information on changes in the work; preparing an independent analysis, as the need arises; acquiring and checking estimates for the changes from subcontractors; acquiring approval of the architect and owner; and resolving any misalignments on project details.
- Provide technical support for cost control
- Assist with specific sections of the overall project budget as assigned.
RISK:
- Prepare a detailed contract items list including all significant items required for the construction of the project. Develop trade scope of work documents for bid packages, major material, and equipment purchases.
- Assist in developing scope of work and executing subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Participate in the close-out process. Prepare final records such as RFIβs, close-out records, warranties, as-builts, operation and maintenance manuals, attic stock, spare parts. Evaluate all information to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Participate in risk management including identification, analysis, response planning and monitoring/controls on a project and demonstrates competency in understanding controls processes for the project to take corrective actions when necessary.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year. * Transportation- bulk fill, first dose, and missing doses will be delivered securely to the appropriate units, while practicing appropriate procedure to ensure confidentiality for all patients.

GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for the management and supervision of all areas assigned by the Store Manager and follows policies in regard to Customers, Associates and merchandising. You will be responsible for all facets of the mission design, including definition of operational concepts, development of on-orbit procedures, and innovation of advanced methods of spacecraft operation unique to each space mission.
Mission Operations requires composure in high-pressure situations, in-depth knowledge of both the space vehicles and ground segment, and an ability to respond to anomalous scenarios in real-time.
You will be directly responsible for Millennium's critical on-orbit assets.

Responsibilities Lead a team of spacecraft and subsystem engineers during launch and early orbit activities to commission the space vehicle(s) for service Perform duties of lead technical authority during mission operations for both the space and ground segments Support every aspect of the mission lifecycle, from proposal/mission modeling, design, integration and test, space vehicle shipment, launch and on-orbit operations, to decommissioning Define ground and mission operations requirements, and flow mission requirements back to the space vehicle team Define mission concept of operation and design reference missions Improve future vehicle designs by cataloguing lessons learned from on-orbit exercises Support the ground segment design, including command and control, mission planning, mission data processing, and the associated infrastructure to support all activities Implement and test space vehicle fault and autonomy, including fault detection and response, autonomous space vehicle behavior, and on-board command and control Develop and implement methods of operational automation, to reduce day-to-day operator responsibilities Create and execute space vehicle simulator tests to validate mission/fault/autonomy design Create and execute in-factory flight vehicle tests to validate mission design compatibility with flight hardware Conduct critical ground segment testing, including radio-frequency compatibility testing, remote ground facility interface testing, and acceptance testing of critical ground assets/locations Forms and leads anomaly response team when off-nominal vehicle conditions arise Contribute to customer briefings/debriefings for orbital events Design and validate the mission "sequence of events" for bus commissioning, payload checkout/calibration, and mission operations Contribute to Mission Rehearsal events to train the mission team and to validate the mission design This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
