This role directly supervises three staff and provides indirect leadership and coordination with three Area Directors responsible for program implementation and contract deliverables. The Senior Director leads the development and implementation of standardized grant management systems, compliance protocols, reporting processes, and contract performance monitoring frameworks. The role partners closely with Area Directors, Project Managers, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure effective resource allocation, timely delivery of contract deliverables, and strong funder relationships.

- Responsible for providing assistance in the acquisition, negotiation and renewal functions related to IT vendor contracts. Register vendors for IT contracts and manages databases for IT vendor contracts.
- 35% Assists in the acquisition, negotiation, and renewal functions related to IT vendor contracts. Reviews, analyzes and creates hierarchy for IT vendor agreements. Maintains and updates various IT vendor databases in support of area workflow and department projects.
- 35% Perform quality reviews of databases to ensure agreements are entered correctly. Works with staff to correct and advise of proper protocols.
- 10% Trains and assists new employees with processes and procedures of the databases. Creates work instructions, procedures and standards for databases.
- 10% Request vendor registrations from new and established vendors and assists IT Payables with finalizing the required documentation.
- 10% Creates, reviews, maintains, and completes various reports for management.
Day to Day:
- This position manages key vendor and contract activities, including requesting vendor registrations and assisting IT Payables with required documentation.

Job Summary
The Contracting Officer-Sponsored Programs role will review, process, approve, negotiate, and administer assigned sponsored proposals and awards, which may include governmental, industry, non-U.S. and/or not-for-profit funding of grants, contracts, and other sponsored agreements and donations in
the support of research. Provide services and guidance to faculty and research staff. Review, analyze, and interpret new awards terms and conditions.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Analyze solicitations and review proposals to ensure proposals are complete and compliant with Institute policies, agency regulations, and solicitation requirements. Review sign any required Institute Representations and Certifications.
Job Duty 2 -
Identify proposal risks and review mitigation strategies with management. Submit all assigned, approved, compliant proposals prior to deadlines.
Job Duty 3 -
Review and interpret sponsored agreement language. Resolve contractual issues, negotiating contract changes, and executing agreements on behalf of the Institute's research corporations with an approved corporation officer.
Job Duty 4 -
Provide Post award administration. Monitor administration of awarded sponsored projects and serve as contact for all business/contractual matters throughout life cycle of sponsored program awards. Resolve issues brought forward by researchers and unit administrators. Prepare business correspondence and notices required by award terms.
Job Duty 5 -
Maintain current working knowledge of applicable federal regulations, state laws, Institute policies, and sponsor requirements.
Job Duty 6 -
Advise faculty, project directors and financial and administrative staff on proposal submission process, post award administration, regulatory compliance requirements and Institute policy, coordinating with other units supporting research including Conflict of Interest, Research Integrity Assurance, Research Security, Export Control, Corporate Engagement, Technology Licensing, and the Georgia Tech Office of Legal Affairs.

- Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Local Contract TRA RN PCU / IMCU TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts.

- Contract Security compared to a contract with an outside agency Minimum education Graduate of an accredited School of nursing Minimum Experience Must have 2 years of Acute Care nursing experience with a minimum one year current in PCU / IMCU Required Certification/Licensure
- Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
Must meet all certification requirements for each nursing specialty supported
- American Heart Association
- CPR-Basic Life Support
- Other credentialing items, such as a skills checklist and health related documents, which will be specified by your Recruiter.
