Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Drive and operate commercial front-end loader or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect and transport solid waste to post-collection facilities.
- Site Management: Manually open container enclosures or gates to access bins. Maneuver 3-to-4-yard containers on castors into position for dumping as required.
- Safety & Inspections: Perform rigorous daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR). Document and submit vehicle condition reports at the end of every shift.

Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of commercial truck driving experience OR a certificate of completion from an accredited CDL school.
- Safety Criteria: Must meet all relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to DOT and Company standards.
- Maneuvering Skills: Demonstrated ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment in tight/high-traffic areas, including backing 120+ feet using mirrors.

Assistant Facilities Manager

A. Core Purpose
The Assistant Facilities Manager (AFM) serves as the lead for hangar operations. Their role is to ensure the facility and aircraft are mission-ready while maintaining a constant feedback loop with the Facilities Manager to ensure alignment with company standards and safety protocols.
B. Primary Responsibilities
• Operational Execution: Directs the daily movement and servicing of aircraft and the upkeep of the hangar floor.
• Proactive Reporting: Maintains \"eyes on\" the facility to identify needs before they become issues, conferring with the Facilities Manager on all non-routine actions.
• Safety & Security: Monitors hangar security and utilizes the Safety Management System (SMS) to proactively identify hazards and implement robust safeguards against workplace incidents.
C. Specific Duties
Flights
• Flight Readiness: Directly supervises the "departure or arrival\" process, ensuring aircraft are moved, fueled, and stocked according to the daily flight schedule, and the Vaerus Way.
Weather Event Coordination
• WEP Preparation: Monitors local weather forecasts and identifies potential threats to the facility or aircraft.
• Collaborative Execution: In the event of forecasted weather, the AFM will develop a proposed staging and protection plan and confer with the Facilities Manager for approval prior to initiating the Weather Event Plan (WEP).
• Implementation: Once the plan is approved, the AFM oversees the physical movement of aircraft and securing of the facility.
Security & Events
• Access Control: Assists in the oversight of the security of the facility, ensuring all gates and hangars are locked and monitored.
• Event Support: Manages the logistical flow of hangar events, ensuring flight departures and arrivals are handled safely amidst event activities.
D. Communication & Consultation Protocols
To ensure operational continuity, the Assistant Manager is required to confer with and receive direction from the Facilities Manager on the following:
1. Non-Routine Assignments: Prior to beginning any project or task outside of standard daily \"Launch and Recovery\" duties, the AFM will brief the Facilities Manager on the scope and timeline.
2. Resource Allocation: Conferring on the use of specialized equipment or additional manpower for large-scale hangar projects.
3. Conflict Resolution: Reporting any client service friction or personnel issues immediately to the Facilities Manager for joint resolution.
- Policy Deviations: Any situation requiring a departure from the General Operations Manual must be cleared through the Facilities Manager and processed through the SMS system.

JOB SUMMARY
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Working under general technical guidance, an Electronic Technician II specializes in ground-based electronic systems and works on various types of electronic equipment and related devices through a combination of installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, construction, and testing Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Operate and maintain electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog computers, industrial measuring and controlling equipment, microwave amplifiers and transmission lines, high-voltage power supplies and keying circuits, indicators and displays, and antenna positioning systems Apply technical knowledge of electronic principles to solve basic problems using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment Diagnose equipment malfunctions and effect repairs to restore equipment to required operating condition Manipulate computer keyboards and view and interpret computer displays Troubleshoot to the component level and make needed repairs Perform other job-related duties, as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE Education and/or training from an accredited college or technical school with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory, or a military equivalent and three years of hands-on experience are required for this position.
In addition, an Electronic Technician II must possess the following qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in general electronics Familiarity working with various tools and equipment Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties Good understanding of electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems Good understanding of test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power radio frequency (RF) devices Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to the component level and competency in soldering.
SALARY The Area Wage Determination (AWD) for this position is $37.93 per hour.

WORKING CONDITIONS Employee will be required to work some shift work, at remote locations, and occasional over-night assignments.

Grease or oil may be found on working surfaces.
Outdoor duties may be performed on gravel or shingled roof.
Climbing stairs, ladders, towers, and scaffolds, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, (anything heavier requires two or more people or mechanical assistance) are required.
A government vehicle is used on an as-needed basis.
