General Description

The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Risk Manager for the Risk Management section within the Administration Division. The Risk Manager will serve as the cornerstone of BCAD's risk management program, ensuring the airport is protected from liability by evaluating risk exposures, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts, and establishing and enforcing insurance requirements and renewals for all vendors and third parties. It provides critical oversight of procurement activities, analyzes bid documents, and safeguards compliance through the monitoring of Certificates of Insurance. The role also represents the airport's risk management interests in high-stakes meetings with airlines and key vendors, supports County departments with insurance guidance and trains staff across multiple divisions. With its blend of technical insurance expertise, legal interpretation, contact analysis, and staff leadership, this position is integral to minimizing financial exposure and maintaining continuity in BCAD operations. The employee will function as the Safety Management System Coordinator for Landside Operations in conjunction with the Operations Division. This position will supervise a loss and safety team on our construction sites and will ensure Occupational safety and health training and education program tracking.

Plans, develops, implements and maintenance of an airport Safety Management System (SMS), which includes - SMS anonymous reporting, tracking, investigation, and audits; facilitation of the safety risk management (SRM) process; conducting safety assurance meetings and inspections; and providing safety promotion initiatives and incentives; as well as Gap Analysis, Data Collection Review and Synthesis, Updates, Committee Meetings, Safety Assurance Evaluations, and SMS manual and related policies and procedures updates.

This position will work closely with the Operations Division and Maintenance Division regarding employee safety issues and the general risk and safety conditions of the airport. Walk job sites, review reports, and meet with contractors and PMs to resolve safety hazards and OSHA non-compliance. Another important function is to establish and maintain relationships across lines of business as well as with BCAD's partners, including but not limited to BSO, Concessions, Airlines, Ground Handlers, Fuel Farm, Fire and Rescue.

Manages insurance renewals for BCAD and vendor insurance review; mediate claims between attorneys, claimants, and insurance companies; investigate backup for claims and secure additional documentation as needed; liability and subrogation claims. public records request process and review of video requests.

Reviews Loss Control and collaborates with all BCAD divisions and various partners to ensure risk is reduced.

Training and educating expanding community (700+) BCAD employees on compliance and safety standards.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, risk management, construction project management, occupational safety, or closely related field

One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)

SCOPE OF WORK

Exposure to Safety Management System (SMS) concepts or a readiness to learn and apply SMS practices in an airport environment.


Familiarity with Builders Risk insurance policies and their role in managing construction-related exposures

Handle liability and subrogation claims; respond to public records requests and save and view video requests; training and educating expanding community (650+) BCAD employees on compliance and safety standards.

Job Summary

The Legal Operations Manager supports the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) as part of the Operations team helping drive operational excellence across the department. This role focuses on managing legal technology, process improvement, data analysis, and operational initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across OGC, particularly Legal Affairs. Job Overview


The Territory Manager, Therapy provides strategic account management of Getinge products by building and maintaining strong client relationships within the defined geographic territory. The position works closely with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction through support, training and education. This territory covers San Francisco and Sacramento.



Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties



  • Serve as a key business partner to Getinge clients in the field and develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital.
  • Proactively understands customer needs and when complaints arise regarding products, develops creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., clinical research, pricing and/or marketing) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Develop and implement support strategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., product, competition, and pricing needs) of existing accounts to effectively manage the company's products with appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Develop and implement successful Territory Business Plan (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) that identifies the needs of particular accounts and defines specific achievable account management strategies. Business Plans will be reviewed monthly with Regional Sales Manager to update and refine strategies and help the organization achieve its client relationship goals.
  • Upon customer request, determine the client's goals, product usage, and types of cases handled by specific customers by meeting with and asking in-depth questions of physicians and other hospital personnel to learn which Getinge products can best address their specific needs.
  • Establish pricing packages by working with relevant Getinge personnel to establish price points that address specific existing customers' needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals).
  • Observe actual procedures in the operating room of hospital accounts to gain insight into the specific nuances of each physician and member of the lab staff.
  • Comply with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by Getinge policies, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform this job in a quality system environment as failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales experience in medical devices.
  • Minimum of 3 years medical device sales experience and 3+ years of selling and/or clinical support of mechanical circulatory systems such as pulmonary & hemodynamic support
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Demonstrated record of success or achievement in sales positions.
  • Ability to meet and exceed the assigned sales plan on an annual basis.
  • Solid understanding of specified functional area, and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices.
  • Capable of managing time and resources within the assigned territory in conjunction with near-term plans to ensure the territory's objectives are achieved.

  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft in Excel, Word and Outlook and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • May work extended hours during peak business cycles
