Position Summary
The National Operations Manager is responsible for building, standardizing and overseeing operational systems across North American Fire Protection at a national level.
This role provides leadership and accountability for Project Management, Field Superintendents, Inspection and Facilities ensuring consistent standards, strong leadership and scalable operational infrastructure across all regions.
Field Superintendents and Foreman retain authority over daily jobsite execution, manpower, installation quality and jobsite closeout. The National Operations Manager oversees leadership performance, operational systems, safety governance, asset protection, and company-wide accountability.
This is a high-visibility leadership position requiring strong industry experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate confidently at both the operational and executive levels.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The EHS Administrator will work mainly with the Environmental, Health and Safety team on ongoing projects, while spending time supporting other functional areas on miscellaneous administrative tasks.

BACKGROUND
The National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) is a unique facility located at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD, dedicated to defending the nation against biological threats. Established in response to biodefense gaps identified after the Amerithrax attacks of 2001, NBACC has been operated by the Battelle National Biodefense Institute (BNBI) since 2006.
NBACC supports DHS and national biodefense preparedness planning, response, emerging threat characterization, and bioforensic analyses. It addresses critical scientific knowledge gaps regarding biological agents to protect the public and defend the nation against biological threats- whether naturally occurring, accidental, or deliberate. NBACC also provides federal law enforcement with scientific data to support the investigation and attribution of biocrimes and the protection of the U.S. bioeconomy.
NBACC is comprised of two centers:
- National Bioforensic Analysis Center (NBFAC): Conducts technical analyses to support federal law enforcement investigations.
- National Biological Threat Characterization Center (NBTCC): Conducts experiments and studies to gather data for understanding biological vulnerabilities and hazards.
Together, these centers serve as a national resource for assessing risks posed by biological agents and emerging technologies, informing biodefense policy and response planning, and supporting the investigation, prosecution, and prevention of biocrimes and bioterrorism.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Supports animal studies and provides veterinary medical care and maintenance of animal colony health under the supervision of the institutional veterinarian(s). Performs required tasks with regular supervision and guidance and is expected to work independently while keeping their supervisor/manager informed on status of projects and/or area(s) of responsibility.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline and a minimum of 4 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Formal animal technician training, or AALAS certification at the ALAT level, or at least two years' experience as a laboratory animal technician is required.
- Experience with nonhuman primates and agricultural species (e.g., sheep, goats, and swine) is desirable.

- Intermediate scientific proficiency in laboratory functions. Possesses the ability to identify issues with laboratory protocols, procedures, and experimental plans.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides routine husbandry and environmental enrichment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study requirements in biocontainment and other areas as necessary.

The Training Manager is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining effective training programs for new hires and tenured employees across all critical ground handling functions. This role ensures that training plans align with company standards, customer requirements, and operational needs while maintaining accurate records of certifications and compliance. The Training Manager partners with station leadership to identify skill gaps, design targeted learning interventions, and evaluate training effectiveness. The position also supports continuous improvement by conducting audits, analyzing performance trends, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain service quality and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and coordinate training programs for ramp, warehouse, passenger services, and other operational functions.
- Maintain and manage training records, certifications, and re-certifications in internal and external platforms.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge or skill gaps and create targeted training plans.
- Ensure training materials reflect up-to-date company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with station and regional leadership to address performance issues through refresher or follow-up training.
- Observe employees to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.

The In-Hospital Transition of Care RN Case Manager partners closely with hospital discharge planners to coordinate patient care at discharge, ensuring seamless continuity across care settings and reducing avoidable readmissions through proactive coordination, patient education, and timely follow-up.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Acts as an advocate while assisting members/enrollees to coordinate and gain access to medical psychiatric psychosocial and other essential services to meet their healthcare needs. Authorizes and monitors covered services according to policy.
- Assists hospital case management staff with discharge planning if applicable. Makes recommendation to alternate tier of Case Management programs or level of care as acuity necessitate.
- Attends and participates in MFC staff meetings Clinical Operations department meetings Special Needs Forums work groups District/ community agencies meetings etc. as assigned. Provides input completes assignments and shares new findings with other staff. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. - Provides face to face case management in the community as the member/enrollee's health necessitate.

- For assigned Case Management program(s) develops strategies assessment(s) and evaluation/goal tools according to NCQA standards/ guidelines and District of Columbia Contract for the population served. Responsible for verifying that assigned program utilizes up-to-date standards in the medical and behavioral health community for the population served. Keeps informed about disease processes treatment modalities and resources.
- Identifies and reports potential coordination of benefits subrogation third party liability worker's compensation cases etc. Identifies quality risk or utilization issues to appropriate MedStar personnel.
- Identifies inpatients requiring additional services and initiates care with appropriate practitioners.
- Maintains current knowledge of MFC benefits and enrollment issues in order to accurately coordinate services.
- Maintains timely and accurate documentation in the clinical software system per Clinical Operation department's policy.
- Monitors utilization of all services for fraud waste and abuse.
- Performs telephonic ACD line coverage for Clinical Operations' needs.
- Enters authorization as appropriate to the program and sends the reviews to Medical Director as appropriate. Coordinates review decisions and notifications per policy NCQA standards/ guidelines and District of Columbia Contract for timely decision making.
- Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts.
- Participates in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
