Job Description
We're hiring a Regional Sales & Brand Development Lead to help build Brakebee's national, in-person sales organization from the ground up, starting in the Phoenix region.
This role is intentionally designed to start hands-on in the field , while being based out of our Phoenix office from day one. You will sell directly at events, develop wholesale relationships, and work closely with leadership to learn the market, refine strategy, and prove what works. This phase is foundational — it's how you gain the insight and credibility needed to design systems and lead a team effectively.
As traction builds, your role evolves. You'll gradually shift from personal selling into system design, supervision, and team-building : documenting workflows, hiring and training reps, and transitioning personal accounts into repeatable team-led processes. Over time, this role grows into department leadership , focused on strategy, performance, and scaling the model across new territories.
This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who wants to build the machine, then lead it — not manage from the sidelines.
What You'll Do (Initial Phase)
* Drive direct retail and event sales for Brakebee's in-house art and gourmet lines (requires significant weekend commitments to retail events during build up phase)
* Build wholesale relationships with galleries, boutiques, and specialty retailers
* Represent the brand professionally in the field and at industry events
* Collaborate with leadership on pricing, pitches, and sales strategy
What You'll Do (Growth Phase)
* Design and document repeatable sales systems and workflows
* Hire, train, and supervise field reps as territories expand - your commission structure will shift to support expansion as you transition into this managerial role.
* Transition personal sales into team-owned systems

What We're Looking For
- HigherEd/SME Training Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Higher Ed, training, or facilitation working with HigherEd/SMEs, including at least 2 years focused on technical or digital skills. Experience working across cultures and time zones is highly valued.
- Tech & Learning Aptitude: Intermediate to high knowledge of Python and AI/ML/DL/Agentic AI/Maths for AI/Data concepts. Strong personal interest in the evolving AI landscape and comfort with explaining complex topics to beginners. Experience or enthusiasm for Vibe Coding, digital hackathons, or collaborative prototyping is a plus.
- Communication & Facilitation: Fluent, clear-spoken English and strong public speaking skills. Compensation Range
- The base salary range for this position is $210,000 to $295,000 annually. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Software Development Build Engineer, you will own and evolve CI/CD pipelines, build automation and release processes for our scale-out storage and data protection platform. You’ll drive modernization of build systems, ensure fast/reliable releases and mentor junior engineers while collaborating closely with development, QA and operations.
You will:
Architect and optimize build/release pipelines for complex, distributed software
Lead improvements in CI/CD workflows, automation, and developer productivity
Troubleshoot build failures and enforce branching, versioning, and governance standards
Integrate test automation and security checks into pipelines
Mentor engineers and drive adoption of modern build tools and practices

Essential Requirements
8+ years experience in build/release engineering or DevOps (or equivalent skill)
Expertise with CI/CD platforms e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
Proficiency in Python, Bash or Groovy for automation
Experience with Git-based SCM, artifact management (Artifactory/Nexus), and containerized builds (Docker/K8s)
Desirable Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Knowledge of modern build systems e.g. Bazel, CMake and cloud CI/CD
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $205,700-$266,200 .
