Aquatics - Deep Water Exercise Instructor

Pay Rate: $31.67 - $37.81

If you're passionate about fitness, enjoy motivating others, and love working in the water, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! The City of Kirkland is seeking qualified instructors to teach deep water exercise classes at the Peter Kirk Pool.

Classes are held Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. This position is open to applicants 18 years of age and older with prior experience teaching group aquatic fitness classes. In this role, you will plan and lead safe, engaging workouts that include warm-ups, conditioning, strength and flexibility exercises, and cool-downs, while demonstrating routines and supporting participants throughout each class.

Instructors are responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment and ensuring participants follow proper exercise techniques. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as positions are open until filled.

Job Summary

The Tech Temp Strength Training Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading safe, effective, and engaging fitness classes at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center. The instructor will work with a diverse community of students, staff, and members to provide high-quality fitness instruction in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This position offers a great opportunity for experienced fitness professionals to inspire and motivate others to achieve their health and fitness goals. This position reports to the Fitness Coordinator. Parking is not covered by the employer.



Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach strength training group fitness classes. Additional modalities and fusion classes are welcomed.
  • Tailor class formats and intensity levels to accommodate participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
  • Ensure participant safety by providing modifications, using proper techniques, and maintaining awareness of emergency procedures.
  • Engage participants by fostering an inclusive, encouraging environment while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Set up and maintain equipment before and after each class, ensuring a clean and safe workout area.
  • Stay current with fitness trends and continuously improve teaching skills through workshops and certifications.
  • Comply with Georgia Tech and Campus Recreation Center policies and safety guidelines.

Bachelor's degree required in recreation, college student

Technical Oversight

- Develop and Implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes ensuring quality, cost effectiveness, and efficiency in our operation.

Job Overview:

We’re hiring a Project Manager to support the Bloom Active Nutrition brand in our Austin office. This role is crucial in helping execute high-impact print marketing initiatives that bring our brand to life across retail shelves, launch kits, events, influencer mailers, and more.


You’ll report to the Director of Creative Operations and work closely with creative, marketing, and operations to manage timelines, deliverables, and execution across campaigns. This includes digital content, print collateral, packaging, retail displays, brand merch, events, field marketing, and more—ensuring seamless rollout across both digital and physical channels.


We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about the nutrition and supplement space and wants to play an active role in shaping where Bloom goes next.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic project development for Bloom Nutrition marketing initiatives, ensuring briefs are clear, actionable, and aligned to business goals
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations to define scope and shape integrated campaigns across digital, retail, experiential, and field channels
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using Wrike, driving momentum and accountability from kickoff to launch
  • Oversee creative workflow operations, ensuring smooth handoffs between internal teams and external partners (vendors, printers, producers)
  • Review creative with a technical eye, applying knowledge of print production (packaging specs, dielines, file setup) and digital asset standards (formats, specs, and platform requirements)
  • Help refine briefs and campaign strategies to ensure alignment with brand goals and cross-functional priorities
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements that support growth and creative excellence
  • Support development and execution of brand assets, including materials tied to leadership initiatives and strategic partnerships


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in project management, ideally within CPG or wellness industries
  • Experienced in developing repeatable workflows for print production, creative intake, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams and manage shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with project management tools—Wrike experience is a big plus
  • Strong knowledge of print processes, file types, color proofs, and packaging production timelines
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where every day looks a little different

Job Summary

The Fitness Center Manager oversees all operations of a corporate office building’s fitness center, ensuring a positive and motivating environment for all users. This role encompasses daily facility management, group fitness instruction, personal training, equipment maintenance, and adherence to high standards of safety and cleanliness. Success in this position requires strong customer service skills, a passion for health and wellness, and the ability to foster a positive, engaging experience for all members.


Fitness Center Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations of the fitness center, ensuring the facility is clean, organized, and safe for all members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, implementing protocols for safe use of equipment and emergency procedures.
  • Restocking, tracking, and ordering of inventory of enhancements as necessary (ie: towels, locker room amenities, headphones, magazines, etc.)
  • Following various opening and closing procedures
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge about exercise, health, and fitness by remaining current with trends in the industry.
  • Design and implement personalized workout plans for tenants, considering their fitness goals, abilities, and any limitations.
  • Lead three motivating group fitness classes a week (Yoga, Pilates, HIIT. etc.)


Engagement & Customer Service:

  • Provide tours as needed and educate tenants on equipment
  • Ability to market fitness programs and services
  • Actively engage with fitness center users to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service addressing questions, concerns, and feedback
  • Collaborate with Simpli’s Onsite Experience Manager to design programs that engage tenants, promote health and wellness, and foster a vibrant and connected community
  • Promote programs, activities, and events to users to generate excitement and participation
  • Stay updated on fitness industry trends and suggest new offerings that meet evolving user needs and preferences.
