Retail Marketplace Operations Manager, G-III
Position Description
Reporting To: Vice President of Network Strategy & Analytics
Location: On-Site in Dayton, NJ Distribution Center
Profile:
The Retail Marketplace Operations Manager will support the following:
- Direct-to-consumer shipping activities including marketplace, drop-shipments, and direct to consumer
- Returns management and disposition
- Retail and outlet shipping for owned stores
The Manager will play a key role in fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders in Distribution Operations and the Retail team to optimize performance. This role will support the continuous improvement of the returns process, as well as helping to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise directly to customers or GIII retail outlets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in returns management, e-commerce operations, and supply chain logistics, with strong leadership abilities to optimize these areas and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to analyze and accelerate strategies that define and implement best practices for merchandise returns, inventory placement, and disposition.

Temporary Product Development Manager | G-III Apparel Group

Assignment: 4 to 6 weeks
We are seeking a Temporary Product Development Manager, who will play a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end development process, ensuring design integrity, cost efficiency and on-time delivery across all womenβs product categories. The Manager acts as the central liaison between Design, Merchandising, Production and overseas partners. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of apparel construction, costing and development timelines, with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Development and Logistics:
- Execute day to day based on priorities set by management, and drive task completion and issue resolution.
- Operate with working knowledge of the development process and how it relates to the Product Development Timeline and business partners (PD teams, Design, Merchandising, Materials, Production).
- Send development packages to overseas partners and sample facilities.
- Ensure accuracy of information. Initiate and keep track of status of material and sample requests, approvals, and alert management of exceptions.
- Execute, update and maintain necessary tools (Design Cards, Functionality Chart, Development Logs and Matrices).
- Responsible for daily communication with overseas offices.
Trims and Fabric:
- Support the review of prototypes to meet Product Development Timeline milestones with a focus on product execution and consistency of details.
- Understand and uphold Designβs aesthetic intent.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in apparel product development, specializing in womenβs apparel
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of garment construction required
- Strong skill set in Illustrator and Excel required; experience with PLM preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills

The Product Development Associate works closely with the design team to develop seasonal collections through fabric/trim and sample management. They will work closely with mills to manage and track fabric delivery to allocated factories. The Production Control Manager will oversee the planning, coordination and execution of daily order fulfillment activities at the G-III warehouse. This role ensures that production plans align with business demand across all channels, driving efficiency, accuracy and on-time delivery. The Manager will leverage data, systems and cross-functional communication, combining analytical precision with strong leadership skills to deliver consistent results in a dynamic, high-volume warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Planning & Execution
- Develop, communicate, and manage daily production plans based on order volume, SKU mix, store allocations, and e-commerce fulfillment needs.
- Monitor production progress throughout the day, communicate to leaders to make real-time adjustments to staffing and communicate proper priorities to meet cut-off and carrier schedules.
- Collaborate closely with Inventory Control, Allocation, and Transportation teams to ensure accurate and on-time order processing.
Performance & Process Management
- Track and analyze productivity, throughput, and labor efficiency by department and channel.
