Role Overview – Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales at Goldwin’s New York store. You will engage with customers on the sales floor, provide product knowledge rooted in performance and design, and support daily store operations to ensure a premium retail experience.

In addition to sales activities, you will actively support in-store event operations and contribute to the store’s social media efforts, including content creation and posting in coordination with store initiatives. Depending on your interests and strengths, you may take on a focused role as either an Event Lead or an SNS Lead, helping to drive community engagement and brand visibility through events or digital storytelling.

This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has a strong interest in fashion, outdoor culture, and brand storytelling. Key Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with Goldwin’s standards
• Drive individual and team sales performance through exceptional customer service and product knowledge
• Build and maintain meaningful client relationships to enhance customer loyalty and engagement
• Support stock control processes, ensuring accurate inventory levels, timely deliveries, and efficient product replenishment
• Maintain Goldwin’s visual merchandising standards and contribute to daily execution on the sales floor
• Depending on individual strengths and interests, take on a focused role as either:

Requirements

Must Have

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or outdoor brands
• Strong understanding of premium, lifestyle, or outdoor retail environments
• Passion for design, craftsmanship, and delivering a premium client experience
• Strong interest in Japanese apparel brands and a genuine passion for Japanese culture and aesthetics
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong visual awareness and alignment with Goldwin’s minimalist aesthetic
• Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to support restocking, merchandising, and floor operations

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counting and weekly reconciliation

of negatives on hand

• Liaise with Operations Manager for requesting inventory adjustments

• Maintain neat and organized stockroom, ensuring product is categorized and properly

ticketed

• Pack and ship client orders in accordance with company standards

• Partner with Stylists to process, pack, and ship consignments for clients and external stylists

• Research and reconcile shipping errors with FedEx

• Process store damages on a regular basis

• Manage monthly supply orders and organization

• May assist on sales floor during peak times and as assigned

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of (2) years working retail (or related work) experience preferred

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with P.O.S. systems

• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally more

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Positive and high energy

• Availability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and have

• flexibility to store operating hours to meet the needs of the business

The compensation for this position ranges from $22 to $24 hourly. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. We are a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Unit. Our patient population includes GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care.  Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 with Patient Care Associates on the floor to help. • Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Perform routine and detailing housekeeping services requiring specialized tools and equipment. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: other custodial staff to include Quality Control Inspectors & Supervisors, building/area occupants. Perform specialized cleaning operations, typically including spray buffing, burnishing floors, sanitizing trash receptacles, stain removing, window cleaning, etc.

The Overnight Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas, hallways, furnishings, flooring, restaurant areas and work areas. 

The Overnight houseperson follows a strict railroad schedule and a checklist of items to complete nightly.

Duties also include handling guest requests, i.e.

delivering towels, laundry service or housekeeping service.  Secondary duties may include shoveling snow from walkways, assisting with guest transportation, assisting with guest luggage, etc.  The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, and responsible, as the sole housekeeping presence on the shift.
