Fresh Baguette in Germantown, MD is currently looking for Overnight Delivery Drivers. Our drivers deliver fresh baked products to wholesale customers across the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
You will be required to provide your driving record from the MVA as proof of good standing driving history (which costs 9$ on the MVA website).
Job duties include:
- Arrive at the depot, load all your route's deliveries, and depart to make all deliveries on time

Scope:
The Technician, Research and Development provides support for LWE, Sweetener, Coffee, Tea and Concentrate projects; and Shelf Life program; compounds formulas accurately, take physical analytical measurements and prepares and executes daily sensory panels and/or shelf life evaluations in accordance with written or oral instructions; maintains controls for the plant and R&D group, assists with data management, analysis and reporting; maintains inventory of samples for sensory and shelf life studies and may support other product development initiatives as requested. The duties in this position are expected to evolve over time as a result of the company’s growth and expansion into new technologies.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Follows detailed instructions and works independently with light supervision.
• Collects, manages and maintains sensory or shelf life inventory. Includes sample receipt, labeling, placement in appropriate environment, removal at defined intervals for stability testing and archiving/disposal of samples at end of study.
• Monitors stability chambers and chart recorders to confirm environmental conditions are maintained within established specifications; maintains physical and electronic shelf life testing files and database following established procedures.
• Executes daily sensory panels including set-up, entering electronic ballots, serving samples, monitoring panelists and clean-up.
• Compounds formulations accurately and routinely.
• Maintains ingredients in the lab to quickly and easily compound formulas.
• Maintains approved controls for the R&D group and for the plant
• Maintains the flavor library of LWE concentrates for the R&D group.
• Conducts routine chemical, physical, nutrient or stability analyses of samples following established protocols.
• Maintains physical and electronic analysis files and databases; applies statistical principles and assists in preparing reports communicating test results; reports atypical results or deviations to supervisor and initiates investigation and retesting if appropriate.
• Prepares and submits samples for outside testing, monitors progress and records results in database.
• Develops reviews and updates relevant SOP’s.
• Responsible for food safety and food quality of samples handled by:
o Following GMP’s, maintaining sanitary conditions, adhering to safe work practices and ensuring that product quality is maintained.
o Reporting any conditions or practices that may adversely impact food safety, food quality or personal safety to supervisor.
• Maintains consistent attendance; must have flexibility to work extended hours or off shifts if required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science preferred, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology or related field acceptable on a case by case basis.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience with ability to calibrate and operate standard food lab equipment required or lab experience during undergraduate studies.
• Excellent mathematical skills and knowledge of, or ability to learn, statistical analysis required.

Revolution Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster rooted in craft, hospitality, and community. With two neighborhood cafes and our roasting operations based in Oceanside, we serve thousands of guests each week through thoughtfully designed spaces, seasonally driven menus, and scratch-made products crafted with intention.
Our pastry program is a key part of our brand and guest experience. We explore culinary creativity through pastries built for a neighborhood coffee shop experience—shaping the daily rhythm of our cafes and playing a big role in the overall guest experience. Each offering is developed with intention, designed to stand on its own while fitting seamlessly into our seasonal menus and coffee program.

Position Overview
The Baker position plays a key role in supporting daily pastry production for Revolution Roasters, crafting high-quality baked goods and seasonal offerings for multiple cafe locations. This position calls for precision, consistency, and creativity to help sustain the quality of our highly respected pastry program.
As part of our talented pastry team, the Baker contributes to a collaborative kitchen environment alongside our commissary and kitchen teams to create an amazing scratch made experience for our guests. The Baker will assist in creating everything from laminated doughs to seasonal garnishes, hands on at every step of our pastry process. Core Responsibilities
Production & Quality
• Execute daily production of pastries, laminated doughs, cookies, cakes, and seasonal items according
to recipes and standards
• Ensure all products meet established quality, flavor, and presentation standards
• Follow precise scaling, baking, and decorating procedures
• Assist with prep lists, par adjustments, and daily organization of production
• Maintain consistency across all batches and locations
Organization & Sanitation
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and storage areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including labeling and dating procedures
• Support daily cleaning and maintenance of pastry kitchen equipment
• Participate in weekly deep cleans and inventory
Collaboration & Communication
• Communicate effectively with pastry team, café managers, and commissary leadership regarding
product needs, shortages, or quality concerns
• Support smooth handoffs between shifts and departments
• Contribute ideas for menu improvement or process efficiencies when appropriate
Growth & Development
• Participate in seasonal menu changes under the direction of the Executive Pastry Chef
• Demonstrate curiosity and commitment to professional development
• Build toward increased responsibility within the pastry program (lamination, R&D,
or leadership tasks as skills grow)

Qualifications
• 1–2 years of professional pastry experience
• Lamination experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in execution
• Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced kitchen
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation best practices
• Collaborative spirit and willingness to learn
Schedule & Requirements
• Full-time (approximately 40 hours/week)
• Early morning (3am-4am) availability required
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation to and from bakery location (Oceanside, CA)

Responsibilities
Smiling and always saying \"YES!\" to our guests.
Receiving and processing online, phone, and in person cake orders
Managing cake and icing inventory
Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's, stocking decopacs, and following all sanitation procedures
Decorating cakes according to Baskin Robbins cake design standards
Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with guests, team members and leadership
Stocking and maintenance of product displays according to quality and merchandising standards
Potential for working in other areas of the restaurant
Qualifications
1+ year of experience as a cake decorator preferred
