Job Description:

Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy modalities and respiratory assessments to patients of all ages in all patient care areas, including critical care, NICU or Labor & Delivery. Performs responsibilities independently and without supervision except as necessary during orientation or training.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapist program.

Experience:

One (1) year in acute/critical care respiratory therapy. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

- Experience with one or more control systems for commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, manufacturing or building automation systems

Job summary: Provides indirect/direct patient care in the Women's Health setting. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Prepares and compiles records in the Women's Health Unit. Initiates directions from physician and nursing staff. Participates in performance improvement activities.
