The Production Supervisor serves as the primary point of leadership for the shift and is expected to maintain a consistent floor presence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support production teams during 2nd shift operations with full accountability for shift performance

Role Summary/Purpose
The Production Supervisor at PCX Aerosystems Santa Ana, CA will lead daily operations in one of several departments at the plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Assignments may include time in the machine shop, assembly, test, overhaul and fuel tank departments. This role will lead a team of hourly production employees to meet orProexceed production, safety, quality goals and delivery goals while maintaining positive employee relations.

- Oversight and management of front-line hourly manufacturing employees

Description
The Production Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of raw materials, jobs & operations (in house and outside) within an ERP environment and on the shop floor. This role will be responsible for ERP data integrity as well as the flow of the jobs throughout the manufacturing process.
Planner will also be required to achieve high level of customer product delivery (ship to commit) integrity while keeping minimum inventory level of finished goods and WIP.
Key responsibilities - other duties may be assigned:
- Monitor MRP signals (Material buys, job release dates, overdue/exception notices).
- Review MPS/MRP and customer's online portals for demand forecast while maintaining Min/Max levels.
- Review material and outside vendor (OSV) processing requirements.
- Create, release and maintain material requisitions and jobs to meet customer demand.
- Submit and track status of Material and OSV requisitions; confirm PO creation.
- Create and release work orders; maintain work order accuracy (Engineering Changes (ECs), process changes, reprints, etc.).
- Coordinate with production, engineering, sales, purchasing & shipping/receiving to expedite the flow of work orders.
- Monitor and take immediate reschedule action in case of customer demand changes (push-out or pull-ins).
- Audit and maintain ERP system inventory data for accuracy, including cycle count program.
- Work with operations team to analyze work center load/capacity and schedule work accordingly.
- Provide monthly/weekly delivery commitments and ensure 100% commit integrity.
- Monitor finished goods inventory, work in progress and reduce levels to satisfy the company's target metrics.
- Execute inventory transactions from issuance of material to creation of finished goods shippers.
- Achieve high level of customer Percent On Time Delivery (%OTD) performance and minimize overdue/past due orders.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.
Position Requirements
Skills and qualifications:
- A proactive team player with a background in production planning/scheduling and inventory control in a capacity-constrained system.
- Prior machine shop planning experience preferred, but not required. Some manufacturing planning experience beyond simple assembly is required.
- Knowledge and experience of MRP/ERP and schedule control in a data-driven environment.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
The position of Cell Leader is a key catalyst on a manufacturing Cell Team, who works in conjunction with Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, and hourly Cell associates to manufacture or assemble a component or major assembly. As such, this individual must supervise a group or groups engaged in various activities in the Operations organization, and act with urgency to direct the resolution of technical and logistics problems and the introduction of measures to improve operations and customer relations.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Set work priorities aligned to satisfy company, customer demand and on-time delivery metrics. Collaborate with planner and peer Cell Leaders to schedule work through the various manufacturing work centers and manage work center to assure adequate flow of production. Manage line balance ensuring the pacing process is adequately staffed to maintain desired output levels. Hold direct reports accountable to meet Operating, OTD, Quality, and Safety metrics. Ensure direct reports are fully engaged performing value added work.
- Develop and implement action plans to meet department goals in the areas of labor efficiency, labor utilization, housekeeping, on-time delivery and productivity improvements. Perform regular daily audits of key processes to ensure optimum process performance and use of latest operation sheets,
- Maintain department/cell metrics. Ensure all direct reports understand their cell metrics and how they impact/improve each metric. Monitor Utilization rate in cell is at acceptable level (direct vs. indirect), Labor Efficiency (by person, by job), Quality Performance (Maintain Quality log), enforce work rules (breaks, cell phones, newspapers, etc.), ensure TPM/PM is being completed.
- Coach direct reports in maintaining accurate reporting of employee time, vouchering and work performance within the area. Develop and maintain Skills Matrix for accurate identification of workforce capabilities and cross train to support business need.
- Encourage employee involvement in and ownership of continuous improvement activities focused on LEAN and waste reduction. Implement and maintain 6S in Cell.
- Develop, plan and implement continuous quality improvement through teams within the area of responsibility to attain World Class Quality. Ensure PDR's are written quickly & thoroughly. Initiate PRB review on suspect parts in a timely manner. Support weekly PRB meetings to determine RCCA and develop rework scenarios where possible. Respond to production problems by personally investigating and resolving such problems with hourly and salaried personnel to assure a continuing flow of product. Utilize formal problem solving methodologies to discover and eliminate root cause.
- Actively participate, recommend, and initiate improvement in our EH&S practices and procedures.
- Reward and recognize associates on a regular basis and support programs that encourage employee involvement and recognition.

In search of a Part-Time/Temporary/Contract Studio Events and Sales Assistant for my small business. Roles may differ based on time of year, opportunities available, and schedule. This position does not have steady hours, but is structured 'as needed'.
January-May | Moderate hours
June-August | Very low hours
Sept-Dec | High hours
Pay range is $16 - $20 per hour depending on task and event.
Special events can pay more and include travel time.
Responsibilities include:
- Working at an in-home studio preparing samples, helping to assist in production of products, packaging, labeling, cleaning glassware/supplies, preparation of gift sets and product for display and/or markets and events.
- Attending charity events, outdoor markets, indoor events with the intention to sell products, speak to customers and brand representation.
- Special event pop ups- wedding, birthdays, children events.
- Assist with various workshops and classes held at specific locations in town.
- Assist or independently carry out beauty activations (events) at weddings, birthdays, special events.
- There may be opportunities to work from home on special projects, social media, or website work.
Qualifications
Must be able to drive to and from locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale and surrounding areas.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and not opposed to attending outdoor markets. This includes standing/sitting for many hours, lifting product boxes, set up/breakdown of pop-up tents, carrying heavy items to/from vehicles.
Ability to use online tools to collect payments from customers.
Sales experience is not required, however the candidate should be very comfortable speaking to customers, getting the attention of customers at markets and have an overall happy good energy vibe.
Trustworthy and dependable.
Bonus is craft experience, design experience, and working with your hands.
Training will be provided on all aspects, mostly on the job training.
