  • Reads and interprets blueprints
  • Properly use all types of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to measure/verify depth, blade, ID, OD, etc.
  • Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts and tooling.
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
  • Has a passion for suggesting improvements, working with people to enhance productivity across manufacturing departments as a direct result of work they do
  • Utilizes and abides all safety procedures.
  • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
  • Shares knowledge and mentor's junior and other co-workers
  • Must comply with ITAR employment

Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective communication and understanding of job instructions both verbally and written.
  • Problem solving skills to identify potential issues and fix errors.
  • Attention to detail with precision equipment and product.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Milling Machine Experience a must (Bridgeport or other)
  • Ability to perform advanced mathematical computations (trigonometry and geometry) is a plus
  • Understands and interprets CNC programs when needed is a plus.
  • Understands and can perform tool wear offsets is a plus
  • Skills to maintain extremely tight tolerances (as low as 0.001\") is a plus
  • CNC Experience is a plus

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • English language Skills are a must (Ability to read and speak), bi-lingual is a plus

  • Partner with the E-Comm Team to create effective and innovative online merchandising strategies to drive total category sales and profitability
  • Be in tune with go to market strategies and merchandise accordingly
  • Ensure site presentation is optimized and lends itself to increased conversion and demand
  • Maintain strong understanding of customer experience data (abandoned cart, top products, AOV, etc.) and implement educated merchandising strategies

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This Engineer will be responsible for completing the automation portion of capital projects in support of the Plant Capital execution as well as Plant technical support, enabling the plant to meet its Market, Safety, Productivity, and Quality goals. Provide estimates and technical schedules for all phases of process equipment addition, replacement or upgrade.

Participate in assigned major capital projects and/or modifications from start to finish, including equipment reception, commissioning, and acceptance.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Bachelors in Electra-mechanical, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience in the field

Experience with electrical design standards and able to complete controls systems designs using standard CAD design tools

We specialize in commercial and industrial applications, plus some unusual niches, as well as maintenance, automated controls, performance optimization, and chilled water systems. We are approximately 10% Residential, 20% niche, and 70% small commercial to industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities & What You Will Do:

* Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect and maintain primarily commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers (boiler knowledge, for example in a hospital setting - a big plus), air handlers, cooling towers, commercial refrigeration, and occasional residential projects.
* Diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related mechanical/electrical components in (mostly) commercial settings.
* Perform preventive maintenance, system startups, and efficiency upgrades to ensure reliable operation and compliance with regulations.
* Optimize efficiency with automated controls and energy upgrades.
* Read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals; use diagnostic tools and controls software.

Tired of repetitive repair jobs? Are you ready for a new challenge everyday? You'll have a sense of accomplishment and comradery working on industrial equipment, recreational and commercial boats from 20-100+ feet. We are a friendly, customer service oriented, diesel marine and industrial engine dealership and boat yard. Engines and generators we represent include Suzuki Outboards, John Deere, Yanmar and Scania. We need an addition to our team who has at least 2 yrs of in-depth experience working on outboard and inboard gas engines and electrical and plumbing. We need someone who can work on a team, is reliable, has a positive attitude, professional appearance, good attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
This is a Full-time Hourly position 40+ hours per week.
Key Duties:
Perform mechanical and technical work on diesel and gas motors, engines, generators and systems of various size vessels (30-100 ft) and industrial equipment. This includes heavy and light duty mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.
Requirements:
Min. 2+ yrs in-depth knowledge and marine mechanical experience on diesel and gas outboards and inboards with the ability to independently trouble shoot.
- Must have experience operating standard mechanical tools and diagnostic software.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 60lbs, climb ladders, work in small compartments/spaces, work on feet a full day, able to wear personal protective equipment such as respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection.
- Able to complete projects in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Ensure project work orders are executed as written and all work is complete, meeting company standards.
- Plan with and receive direction from management regarding current and upcoming projects.
- Receive direction from and provide feedback to manager including job status, problems, better solutions or recommended adjustments to the plan.
- Customer service oriented and a positive "do what it takes" attitude.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Able to and willing to work overtime if needed.
- Good communication skills, both speaking and writing.
- Must abide by company policies, state, federal and local laws.
- Must have good driving record and valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation.

- Experience working with electronics and wiring systems, repair and installation a plus.
