The Role
As an Assistant General Manager at Pret, you are a key leader within the shop that ensures we deliver strong operational performance and exceptional guest experiences. You help oversee day-to-day shop operations including staffing, scheduling, food production, and guest service while ensuring the shop runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Pret’s standards.
Assistant General Managers lead from the front. When the shop gets busy, you are on the floor supporting the team, coaching in real time, and ensuring guests receive the warm, fast, and personal service Pret is known for. You also play a critical role in developing team members and preparing the next generation of Pret leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Own Full Shop Performance
- Drive strong transaction growth and operational efficiency

Qualifications
Required Experience
- 2+ years of management experience or equivalent leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments
- Experience supporting operational performance and service standards in high-volume settings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds; bend, reach overhead, squat, kneel, and go up and down stairs as needed; safely maneuver through tight or compact spaces; operate restaurant equipment and handle tools such as tongs, pots, and pans with dexterity; work in environments ranging from hot to cold, including near open flames and occasional outdoor conditions; maintain close, distance, and peripheral vision; communicate continuously with team members; and work in a constant state of alertness while maintaining safe operations

Salary Range
- The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000. Compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and the specific work location of New York, New York, United States. In addition, you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
This is a LOCAL long term maintenance project and does NOT pay per-diem so the ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of Chalmette, LA. (Shifts are 5x8's Monday - Friday)

About the Role: UPS Industrial Services is seeking skilled and experienced Pipefitter IV to join our team. The ideal candidates will be based locally in the Chalmette, LA area. This person will be able to install pipe hangers and fabricate piping spools from spool sheets and isometric drawings. This is a local job and does not pay per-diem so the ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of Chalmette, LA.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass drug screen.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Must have a valid TWIC card.
- Must be able to pass a physical and PFT/FIT test.

Responsibilities:
- Installs pipe and all related pipe material per drawings and specifications.
- Fabricates piping spools from spool sheets and isometric drawings.
- Flame cuts pipe to length and bevels, cleans and prepares pipe for fit-up
- Performs layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings.
Job Duties & Essential Functions: :
- This position is a field position requiring daily travel to, through and in field construction sites, in outdoor ambient conditions, including extreme weather, uneven surfaces, heights and locations where chemicals and flammable materials are being used, processed and treated, approximately 100% of the time.
- This position is a physically mobile position, requiring the ability to navigate within a construction and manufacturing environment, as well as an office environment.
- Must be able to lift, carry and manipulate at least 45 pounds consistently.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle;
- Accurate and clear vision and hearing.
- The position requires the use of a phone and computer, requiring sufficient digital manipulation skills to utilize a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone and numerous tools.
- Sufficient body dexterity to bend, stop, and reach for or otherwise gather tools, construction materials and office materials and equipment on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, as well as stand for extended periods.

Opened in 1968, the Center has a long history of providing high-quality burn care to patients from Maryland and beyond. As a comprehensive Burn Center, we offer the latest research and technologies for treating burn-related injuries from flames, chemicals, electricity, and scalds. We also provide treatment for complicated skin infections and other wounds. Our services include an inpatient Burn Unit, an Outpatient Burn Wound Clinic, and a Scar Revision Clinic.
To be a Burn Registered Nurse, RN, sharp clinical skills are needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pain management, fluid balance, critical care, stabilizing acutely burned patients, trauma recovery, and rehabilitation.
- Care for post-operative patients who undergo skin grafting or skin transplants.
- Deal with sepsis most of the time since all the patients' skin integrity is impaired. Thus, infection is almost always unavoidable.
- Familiarization with complex dressing for complex wounds is a must for the role.
- Being in Burn Unit can be overwhelming for patients as they stay in the unit until the burn wounds are healed.
- Being a Burn Registered Nurse, RN, means you must be ready to stand for long hours to complete a dressing and during a patient's shower.
