Impact
As a Work Control Planner 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient planning and execution of maintenance, operations, and modifications at LANL’s TA-55 facility. Your work will directly support national security missions and the successful operation of highly secure nuclear facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and/or review work packages that include labor estimates, material needs, safety and testing requirements, and step-by-step work instructions
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological systems
- Collaborate closely with execution teams to resolve work restraints
- Support implementation of the PF4SHIFTS execution plan
- Bring work packages to final closure and provide documentation for quality assurance and auditing
Minimum Qualifications

POSITION TITLE: SC2 Life Coach
REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Reentry & Support Services
The Institute for Nonviolence Chicago’s mission is to end the cycle of violence using Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s principles and teachings of nonviolence. Informed by a philosophy of nonviolence, Nonviolence Chicago will establish caring and sustained relationships with participants engaged in the cycle of violence. We will emphasize partnerships with community members, leaders, social service providers, and local law enforcement to reduce community levels of violence. We will help create a safer, healthier environment for young adults, youth, and their families. These general approaches will be specifically addressed using for major methods: Community Violence Intervention (CVI) / Street Outreach, Individualized Service Provision, Victim Support Services, and Nonviolence Training.
About the SC2 Collaborative
The Institute for Nonviolence Chicago (INVC) is serving as the hub for the Scaling Up (SC2) initiative in the Austin community. The SC2 Austin Collaborative came together to begin scaling their promising programs throughout Austin to achieve community-level violence reduction by scaling up services to individuals at highest risk of violence. This unprecedented level of coordination, alignment, and investment in direct service provision to the highest risk individuals will not only provide lessons for local replication but may also serve as a model that can be deployed in other cities across the nation.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Associate Director of Reentry & Support Services, the SC2 Life Coach works directly with high-risk individuals in the community and accompanies them as they navigate the challenges associated to current or past involvement with the criminal justice system, work to establish a healthy and stable lifestyle, and overcome barriers to accomplishing their professional goals. This position not only provides services and resources to help achieve established goals, but also uses first-hand knowledge of the community to develop and maintain meaningful and effective relationships with participants, responds in the community as crises arise and draws out participant motivation to reach his/her potential. The SC2 Life Coach models prosocial behaviors and successful interpersonal relationships, provides the accountability necessary to achieving established goals, and mentors participants as they receive supportive services and attend court dates. As such, this role is a critical component of the long-term success of the SC2 Austin Collaborative.
This position may also be a member of a Violence Prevention-Community Support Team (VP-CST), an innovative effort to provide trauma-informed therapeutic interventions to individuals who have experienced chronic exposure to firearm violence. VP-CST teams are comprised of an outreach worker, life coach and clinician.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize first-hand knowledge of the community and street conflicts to develop and maintain supportive and effective relationships with participants
- Using a trauma-informed approach, provide support, resources and accountability to a caseload of 20 participants at minimum
- Coordinate and complete intake process for every participant on caseload
- Establish and monitor participant goals
- Conduct and document in database a minimum of one in-person one-on-one support sessions each week with every participant on caseload
- Document in database the progress of each participant, including significant contacts, events attended (such as court dates) and feedback shared by external partners
- Assist participants with transportation to community supports, court, social service agencies, etc.
- Respond to crises in the community that impact participant safety and/or stability
- Provide linkages to needed supports, such as safe and stable housing or other community resources
- Create coordinated care, addressing gaps in information and services for each participant through regular communication with internal team members, participant family, and other service providers
- Work closely with referring partners and our community-based partners to ensure that goals are met
- Model prosocial behaviors and successful interpersonal relationships
- Serve as a mentor and draw out participant motivation to reach his/her potential
- Assist in facilitating cognitive behavioral intervention (CBI) groups to support participant self-regulation
- Provide accountability necessary to support participant achieving established goals, challenge antisocial behavior and consistently hold participants to high standards

- Participate in trainings required of all VP-CST team members

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The following educational qualifications are required for all life coaches to be a part of a VP-CST team:
- An individual possessing a bachelor's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, education, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or related human service field OR
- An individual possessing a bachelor's degree in any field with two years of documented clinical experience in a mental health setting under the supervision of a QMHP OR
- An individual with a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five years documented clinical experience in mental health or human services

- At least five years (5) experience working with high-risk individuals, preferably in Community Violence Intervention (CVI) field

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Project a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times, consistently upholding hotel standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities
The precise job responsibilities will depend on the experience of the selected candidate, but will likely include without limitation:

Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Work Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in benefits (pension and welfare/health) administration/operations required. Minimum of seven (7) years of senior-level management experience required, including direct experience with executive-level decision making and interaction with executive management. Experience in Taft-Hartley and/or collectively bargained environment preferred.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate related experience required. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CEBS) preferred.
Special Skills or Credentials:
- Experience with multiemployer fund operations and extensive knowledge of pension and welfare/health benefit plans as well as related governmental/legislative regulations (ERISA, DOL, HIPAA/HITECH, ACA, PPA, etc.) including knowledge of plan design and interpretation is preferred.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of engineering assignments in developing and implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner.
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues resolving tooling and production process problems while optimizing efficiency and eliminating downtime.
Evaluates process flow and plant layout recommending and implementing improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations and equipment utilization in order to improve thru-put, reduce labor/manufacturing costs and improve safety.
Develops costs for test production data; prepares technical analysis, recommends production methods and processes required to meet design objectives.
Reviews proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernized production/processing equipment and monitors equipment upgrades and improvements.
Continuously monitors operations to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
Coordinates and develops manufacturing schedules for projects.
Develops the PFMEA’s control plans and schedules.
Performs line validation and trial run management.

THE POSITION
The Head Start Program Director reports to the Director of Human Services, or their designee, leads a team of professionals, and is responsible for the direction, management, and implementation of the Head Start/Early Head Start Birth-to-Five program. The Head Start Program Director continuously monitors the progress on meeting child outcomes and school readiness goals with the deliberate intent of meeting or exceeding the national average for child outcomes.
The position oversees 6 direct reports, a department budget of $25 million, and staff of 100.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the division; establish priorities, goals, policies, and performance standards; and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with the Head Start Policy Council, Advisory Board, Mayor’s Office, City leadership, County, State, and Federal partners, regulatory agencies, delegate partners, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality, culturally responsive child development services aligned with Head Start Performance Standards and California early childhood education standards and Community Care licensing.
- Oversee fiscal management, including budget development, financial oversight, contract administration, invoice processing, payments and pursuit of grants and alternative funding sources.
- Review budgets, checking that expenditures align with allowable uses, and watching for early signs of risk – whether in financial reports, staffing patterns or enrollment data.
- Direct and coordinate division operations, ensuring consistency in policy implementation and effective collaboration with external agencies, consultants, and vendors.
- Recruit, supervise, and develop staff; address public inquiries and eligibility determinations; and provide technical assistance to community partners.
- Establish community engagement, education and training programs for clients, partners and members of the public. - Leadership Experience: At least five (5) years of progressively responsible supervisory or managerial experience in human services program administration.
- Program Experience: Experience managing or working with federally funded programs (e.g., Head Start or similar grant-funded initiatives) is highly desirable.

Role Description
The Highway Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and coordinating the operations and functions of the Dunn County Road Department. Incumbents are responsible for managing maintenance functions and coordinating projects. Responsibilities may include prioritizing roads for maintenance needs; creates and maintains departmental budget; develops planning recommendations; supervising assigned staff and operations; and calculating project costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of road maintenance/road construction with an additional five years of progressively responsible leadership experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Licensing Requirements: North Dakota Class A Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain within one year.
Summary
- Organizes, plans and directs the county road and bridge department to include culvert replacement and maintenance, snow and ice removal, weed mowing and other activities associated with road maintenance.
- Advises the county commission on road maintenance issues and proposals.
- Creates, maintains, and follows budget guidelines for every calendar year. Forecasting upcoming projects and staffing needs for approximately a $40 million budget.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with county officials and employees, officials of other governmental jurisdictions, other professional engineers, contractors, and the public.
- Works with engineers and contractors in the planning of road projects.
- Analyzes and authorize project codes and billing.
- Oversees training and enforces safety and regulations.
- Research and drafts specifications for equipment and vehicles and authorizes purchases.
- Handles employee relations issues including disciplinary action and performance evaluations, approves timecards, conducts job interviews, and makes hiring decisions.
- Ensures appropriate levels of staffing for all season and projects, conducts interviews and assists in maintaining job descriptions.
