Sergeants shall make routine checks of offices, laboratories, corridors, parking lots, storage sites, and other such locations, as appropriate for each round and tour.
Authorize deviations from the established schedules whenever unusual conditions or circumstances occur.
In such cases the reasoning for the deviation shall be noted on the guard’s tour report.
Perform all designated guard functions including testing, monitoring, and responding to building fire alarm and electronic security systems, closed circuit television, participation in fire evacuation, access and egress services and other emergency evacuation plans.
Notify the Security Operations Center and when directed, the police and fire departments in the event of an emergency or an unusual occurrence adversely affecting the interest of the Government.
Turn off unnecessary lights; close windows; open, close, and secure doors; and check safes vaults, cabinets, and security doors, if possible.
Annotate and make notifications of discrepancies found.
Check machinery/equipment malfunctioning when alarms, unusual noises, and odors occur (if applicable).
Also, report any evidence of potential fire hazards to the Visitor Control post or an authorized representative.
Comply with established procedures, as outlined in Post Orders, pertaining to lost and found articles.
Record the recovery of found property and attempt to identify and return property to their proper owner.
After 24 hours, unclaimed found property shall be turned in to the Visitor Control Center.
Participate in quarterly exercises at designated site location.
The exercise shall test the responsiveness of the guard force and knowledge of their responsibilities in a variety of emergency situations.
Exercises shall be documented and an after- action review conducted.
Issue permanent and/or temporary identification (ID) cards/badges and perform all functions necessary to furnish the completed photo identification to authorized CDC employees, contractors, service personnel, and visitors.
Conduct visitor center operations that include issuing badges; maintaining visitor records; and operating x-ray machines and metal detectors.
Assist with traffic operations on the properties to control traffic flow.
Conduct rover foot patrols, both interior and exterior, responding to fire, intrusion, and other alarms; answering service calls and documenting all reports of crimes, security violations, or incidents; providing emergency first aid and escorts; assisting with emergency evacuations; manning vehicle check points and conducting inspections.

Sit and Reach – This tests the officer’s flexibility in the lower back, legs and shoulders.
The officer shall sit on the floor in front of the measuring device.
They shall bend at the waist pushing a block down the device.
The stretch must be a static stretch and the officer’s calves must remain in contact with the floor.
The test is measured to the quarter inch.
Bench Press – This test measures the officer’s upper body strength for one repetition.
The test is conducted on a single fulcrum bench for safety purposes.
The officer is to press the weight straight up until they have locked out their arms.
The test is measured in 5-pound increments.
Officers are weighed at the time of the test (in PT gear) and the appropriate percentage of the officer’s weight is used to determine the percentage to be bench pressed.
5 Mile Run – This test measures the cardio-respiratory fitness of the officer.
It is conducted on a flat surface track / pre-measured (flat) course/treadmill.
The test is measured in minutes and seconds.
After initial PEB qualifications, they must re-qualify on an annual basis.
SGOs failing to meet the minimum standards during annual requalification be allowed thirty (30) calendar days to successfully meet minimum standards.
Security Guards failing to meet requirements after 30 calendar days will be placed on Weapons Restriction.
Physical Efficiency Battery: The PEB is a fitness test consisting of three differing components to measure the fitness level of the officer.
The PEB is categorized by age and gender and with a graduated (percentile) scale that ranks officer’s performance from the highest (99th percentile) to the lowest (1st percentile).
As an example, a male between 35 to 39 years old is in the 99th percentile if they have 25.00 inches of flexibility, can push 172.14% of their body weight and can run 1.5 miles in 9:15.
The same person would be in the 1st percentile with scores of 10 inches of flexibility, 51.50% of body weight pushed and a 1.5 mile run in 22:00.

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs responsible clinical care in collaboration with the unit physician and under approved protocols, manages the medical aspects of care in the observation, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, evaluation, rehabilitation, care and counsel, and health teachings of persons who are ill, injured or infirm, or experiencing changes in normal health processes. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Lead and oversee the Beyond Guilt Project’s post-conviction docket (approximately 20–30 client matters annually), coordinating work across attorneys, a paralegal, pro bono counsel, interns, and volunteers.
- Personally litigate approximately 6-12 post-conviction cases each year, including judicial release motions, parole advocacy, sentence modifications, plea withdrawals, motions for new trial, and post-conviction petitions.
- Oversee case intake, prioritization, and assignment, balancing staff capacity with strategic impact and sustainability.
- Work collaboratively with prosecutors, community partners, and—when appropriate—crime survivors to negotiate release outcomes.
- Guide investigations, mitigation development, and reinvestigations.
- Collaborate with OJPC leadership and the Litigation Director to develop and execute high-impact litigation strategies.
- Prepare clients and their supporters for court proceedings and parole hearings.
- Partner with community organizations to support client release planning and post-release stability within the scope of representation.

- Participate in public speaking, community education, and advocacy efforts related to criminal justice reform.

Responsibilities: Calling on the non-acute care government market including emergency management, EMS, medical examiner offices, prisons, department of health, and board of commissioners offices Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers including owners, senior clinical officers and purchasing/procurement managers Selling products that include incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care, minor procedure kits, and gloves Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline’s very large product catalog and numerous value added programs and services Developing meaningful relationships with new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities Presenting new products and initiatives; educating customers on current industry trends and regulations Preparing bids and negotiating contracts Taking ownership and leadership of your territory-- growing it like your own business Requirements Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience.
Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business and build consensus Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels Experience in a commissioned sales position Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment Ability to present multiple product lines Excellent communication and organizational skills Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook Due to the nature of an outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car, travel 80%, and interact with healthcare providers on site is required This is a fully commissioned position with additional incentive compensation.
This role includes a first-year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more.

Paid training for Transit Security Officers in Training All new Transit Security Officers in Training will complete 11 weeks of paid training before working independently with the public.
Weeks 1-4 : Classroom training at our Everett campus.
Weeks 5-11 : Field training in uniform with the guidance of Field Training Officers.
Required ongoing training may include weekly, month, and annual training sessions to support the changing needs of the community and the safety of our team members.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and refine the overall strategic direction for MJC’s legal work to pursue MJC’s overarching mission, values, and strategic goals most effectively in collaboration with the Executive Director and office directors
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director and leadership team in actualizing MJC’s mission
- Regularly interface with MJC’s Managing Director of Operations, Director of Communications, and Director of Development to maximize strategic alignment.

Implementation & Management of Legal Program
- Lead the design and implementation of a realistic and concrete plan to execute the organization’s legal strategy
- Oversee MJC’s legal function, including direct supervision of the organization’s five office directors, and indirect oversight of the organization’s full legal team of about 50 professionals
