Analyst II, QC Chemistry (Contract-to-Hire)

Kelly Science is seeking an Analyst II, QC Chemistry to join a quality control laboratory supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for performing analytical testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting investigations, and ensuring compliance with cGxP and quality standards.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with two openings available on different shifts.

Night Shift
2-2-3 rotating 12-hour schedule
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Day Shift
Friday – Monday schedule (4×10s)
• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing on samples including finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process, and water samples
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Support laboratory investigations and assist with resolving deviations or out-of-specification results
- Execute laboratory protocols to support validation, method development, and method transfer activities
- Review QC data to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards
- Assist with updates to laboratory methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in laboratory processes
- Work collaboratively with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and manufacturing teams
- Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials according to established safety procedures
- Maintain compliance with cGxP requirements and regulatory standards
- Support environmental monitoring activities as needed, including data review and sample collection within manufacturing areas
Qualifications

Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the majority of the time the employee would be working in a standard office environment. However, the employee may also be exposed to moving mechanical parts and may work in high precarious places; the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee may at times work in an environment where the following safety equipment are needed: steel toecap shoes, hearing protection, hardhat eye protection, and/or hair protection. Employee would need to abide by all safety guidelines including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out, etc. Work schedule can be affected by production, downtime and many other variables. Assisting in the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting.
2.
Conducting variance analysis to identify trends and evaluate financial performance against the budget.
3.
Developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health and business performance.
4.
Preparing comprehensive financial reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
5.
Creating and updating dynamic dashboards using Tableau to visualize financial data and trends.
6.
Performing ad hoc financial analysis as required to support strategic initiatives.
7.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
8.
Utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets, improve processes, and create financial models.
Qualifications: 1.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
An MBA degree is a PLUS.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
3.
Proficiency in Tableau, Advanced Excel, and other financial software.
4.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPIs.
5.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial associates.
7.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
8.
Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities: Takes radiographs per physician orders.
Must be versatile within the diagnostic department of Radiology.
Protects all patients and employees from unnecessary radiation.
Has knowledge of the front desk operations as well as the computer systems and reports all equipment problems to manager and Clinical Engineers.
Can schedule all exams done through the whole depart men alerting a supervisor when necessary.
Can use the centralize transport program for patient transportation.
Can look up pertinent information in the computer systems concerning patient exams, ordering, reprinting or canceling when necessary.
Able to interact professionally with other departments.
Can effectively call in needed on call imaging associates as required.
All equipment problems are called to the clinical engineering 24 hour phone number.
Messages are communicated to coworkers, written or verbal.
Managers are alerted to all equipment problems (paging during periods of on call) if necessary.
Remains available for assignment as needed.
Assisting the Radiologic Technologist Students.
Performs operationally required duties associated with equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance (ODH, Joint Commission), ordering of supplies, scheduling of staff and hospital and departmental audits.
Access to patient records in course of normal operations to conduct the business of medical imaging is a responsibility of all designated personnel.
Requirements: Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation and sterile techniques/procedures.
Patient positioning and equipment operation (x-ray machines and printers).
Graduation from ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology school.
