The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute, primarily located at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician leader with expertise in Hematology and Cellular Therapy (HSCT and CAR-T). This position offers a Division Chief leadership role in a growing and dynamic Hematology and Cellular Therapy program dedicated to clinical and translational research as well as exceptional patient care.

The Division Chief works with the AHN Cancer Institute Chair and other leaders to develop and implement strategies and processes for patients under the care of the Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy. The Division Chief shall also maintain all current and future standards of care, both inpatient and outpatient, as well as accreditations needed to assure service for the region. The Division Chief will maintain the same standards and accreditations for subdivisions of the Cell Processing and Molecular Hematology Laboratory. The Division Chief will assume responsibilities for research and development within the division and connect these activities to the larger goals of the AHN Cancer Institute. Allegheny Health Network’s Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Surgical Epileptologist to join our growing team at our Level 4 Epilepsy Center, in Pittsburgh, PA!

AHN’s Epilepsy Program has weekly epilepsy management conference, tackling challenging refractory epilepsy patients. This allows us to offer patients full gamut of advanced surgical options including robotic stereo-electroencephalography, surgical resective surgery, responsive neurostimulation, deep brain stimulation, laser ablation, and vagal nerve stimulation. Our Program actively performs 30-40 SEEG implantations per year with continuously growing volumes and 6 bed inpatient EMU. We are currently enrolled in multiple national clinical trials for medically refractory epilepsy including drug trials and surgically administered gene therapy. Lastly, our team has an active signal processing lab performing high-quality collaborative research with scientists from Carnegie Mellon University.

The Division of Hematology and Cellular Therapy of the Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician with extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of myeloid malignancy, including expertise in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT). This position offers a leadership role in a growing and dynamic hematology program dedicated to clinical and translational research and exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be considered for the directorship of the HSCT program.

Position Summary:

The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including but not limited to acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). This includes overseeing all aspects of patient care, from initial diagnosis and treatment planning to follow-up and supportive care. A significant component of the role involves participation in the alloHSCT program, encompassing pre-transplant evaluation, conditioning regimen selection, transplant procedures, post-transplant management, and the management of complications.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with myeloid malignancy, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, and ongoing management
• Perform bone marrow aspiration and biopsy

Allegheny Health Network's (AHN) Women's Institute is recruiting a full time Maternal and Fetal Medicine Physician to join our expanding team centered in Pittsburgh, PA. Join a department supportive of physicians developing their own clinical interests and with flexibility to build new programs.

Job Description:

• Full scope consultative clinical care.
• Opportunity for research collaborations with Johns Hopkins and Drexel with availability for academic appointments.
• Active participation in resident education.

Women’s Institute, Maternal Fetal Medicine Program Highlights:

• Robust genetic counseling services.
• Joint programs with Women’s Cardiology Group, and Women’s Behavioral Health Program which includes the Alexis Joy D’Achille’s Center for Perinatal Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care consultation.
• Diabetes in Pregnancy Program.
• Dedicated Palliative Care Program.
• Screening Fetal Echocardiogram Program.
• Two Level III neonatal ICUs and two Level II neonatal ICUs within the health system.
• Dedicated support of Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecology Oncology, and Family Planning.
• Qualified candidates in third year of maternal fetal medicine fellowship may be eligible for monthly stipend up to twelve months prior to determined start date.

Job Qualifications:

• Completion of ACGME approved Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency, Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
