Position Summary
The RN - Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Services department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
- ASN or BSN from accredited college or university
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Specific Job Requirements
- Maintains a liaison with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needs
- Expert knowledge in field of practice
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility
- Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: nursing care, supervisory responsibilities,, infection control, patient rights, and safety and sanitation
- Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training
Essential Functions
- Assist the DON in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and directing the Nursing Services department
- Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff
- Assist with overseeing care provided by nursing staff
- Oversee infection control responsibilities

Job Summary and QualificationsReporting to different Laboratory Section Heads, this position is responsible for performing waived and moderate complexity tests, except for those moderate complexity tests requiring microscopy, or in the specialty of immunohematology. Performs venipuncture and skin puncture; orders and restocks supplies; monitors computer orders; answers phone; greets patients, visitors, and employees; and performs other related diagnostic and clerical duties as needed.
What qualifications you will need:- Valid California license as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- Completion of State of California education and training requirements for licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- Possession of a Valid California license as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
- At least 1 year experience in laboratory testing is preferred.
- Must be familiar with laboratory operations, terminology, clerical duties, and ability to work with computers as applicable to job performance. Ability to work as a team player and yet work independently.
- Prefer typing and data entry skills. Ability to prioritize Stat, ASAP, and Routine work.

In this hands-on position, you’ll work on the processing line performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and/or inspecting products to meet strict food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: · Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards. · Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. · Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines. · Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere. · Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives. · Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals. · Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed. · Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: · Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred. · Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus. · Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly, have good communication skills, ability to comprehend simple instructions and apply common sense, and must be a team player and be willing to work close to other employees at some stations. (Less than 3 feet apart.) · Physical requirements: Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees), ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day and lift 50 bs or more. - Base hourly salary rate of $15.35 with a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
- Perfect attendance incentive of $3.00 extra per hour, $4.00 for 2nd and 3rd shift.
