The Boeing Company is seeking highly motivated, organized, and strategic individuals for Mid-Level or Senior Customer Engineers to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina.  This individual would be part of the Customer Engineering team supporting the 787 program at the Delivery Center throughout the airplane production cycle and through Delivery.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Frequently interact with Boeing Sales, Marketing, Contracts and airplane program leadership
  • Developing a close working relationship with the Customer Engineering Account Manager
  • Receive and reply to Customer Correspondence
  • Coordinate with Customer to understand the technical issues and concerns representing The Boeing Company
  • Elevate/Coordinate with Program Engineering groups as required
  • Act as a point of contact for daily verbal Customer input and as a representative of the airline to the various Boeing organizations
  • Gather delivery technical support data, e.g. Change Notice (CN) difference list, etc.
  • Authoring Miscellaneous Contracts Commitments (MCC), Rapid Revisions (RR) and Modification Revisions (MR) as needed
  • Coordinate with Feature Management, Program Engineering, and Certification office on Boeing participation in resolution of Certification issues
  • Provide coordination with Customer Quality Support (CQS) on delivery condition items and unresolved Customer Items
  • Perform the coordination with Program Engineering, Contracts and Program Management Office (PMO) to develop delivery commitments
  • Create the draft Delivery Exception and Commitment letter
  • Attend all customer meetings related to delivery milestones at Boeing South Carolina (BSC); i.e.: Factory Status, Field Status, etc.
  • May require working off-hours, weekends and/or holidays to support airplane delivery milestones
  • Coordinate with diverse technical and business organizations within Boeing

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.

We are seeking a Crane Service Technician – Level 1 to join our team in St. Louis. This entry-level position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the overhead crane service industry. You will assist in performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs on overhead cranes and hoists under the guidance of experienced technicians.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of overhead cranes and hoists per OEM manuals and OSHA standards.

  • Correctly reeve load cables and identify incorrect reeving in simple/common configurations.

Position Summary 


We are seeking a Crane Service Technician – Level 2  or Level 3 to join our Boise/Twin Falls location. This position is ideal for experienced technicians with strong mechanical and electrical skills who are ready to take on more complex service tasks.   • Demonstrate thorough understanding of AC control circuit principles including Ohm’s Law and voltage drop.
  • Troubleshoot and repair contactor motor control systems.
  • Rig up and install new crane equipment with proper safety and mechanical procedures.
  • Explain repair plans, troubleshooting processes, and required parts to customers clearly and professionally.
  • Properly diagnose mechanical components including wheels, bearings, and reducers.
  • Identify and understand crane control components in hoist and bridge panels.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Systems Engineer to join us as part of our Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) In-Service and Project Engineering team located in Richardson, TX or Berkeley, MO.

The Advanced Airborne Sensor is a multi-function radar used on the P-8 Poseidon. The team is responsible for developing and performing engineering for production, sustainment, modification and improvements of military and commercial derivative aircraft. This position will work closely with the supply chain, suppliers, program manager, contracts, estimating, engineering, and/or customers to execute the program. In this role you integrate technical requirements and schedule demands with suppliers, coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product, manage a diverse set of projects, and lead proposal development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and day-to-day management of suppliers, including regular engagement with supply chain to monitor and improve supplier performance. Serve as Equipment Manager for multiple sub assemblies.
  • Build and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional peers.
  • Communicate program status, key risks, issues, and opportunities to customers and leadership, and clearly articulate required support or decisions.
  • Develop clear, compliant supplier statements of work (SSOW) for ongoing and new requirements, and lead execution to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
  • Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable delivery plans.
  • Generate an effective set of metrics to communicate status of contract deliverables.
  • Manage program deliverables by developing risk-mitigation strategies, tracking issues and opportunities, and monitoring baseline plans to evaluate project performance and capture lessons learned.
  • Communicate technical issues/changes via Change Control Boards and/or Chief Engineer Council
  • Resolve technical problems by coordinating between engineering, operations, and suppliers to implement effective solutions.
  • Support proposal development efforts, including competitive cost estimating, schedule development, and delivery commitments.
  • Track and report progress against cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Provide additional program support as needed, such as responding to Corrective Action Requests (CARs), supporting export compliance, and leading lean/process improvement initiatives.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
