As an Assembler Installer for Cable Controlled Systems, you will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the installation and assembly processes. Position Responsibilities:
Perform pickup, rework, authorized changes, and functional checks on work typically installed or assembled by lower classifications.
Use a tension meter to set cable tension according to specifications.
Conduct reaming and riveting as necessary to complete work assignments.
Report job handicaps, such as errors in parts, materials, or assembly procedures, following shop procedures.
Select appropriate parts, materials, and tools, and work with blueprints, assembly pages, and work orders to install and adjust cable-controlled systems in the aircraft.
Review bar charts or automated timelines to determine job assignments and obtain necessary drawings.
Locate work areas using drawings or paperwork that specify airplane and section numbers.
Verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials to ensure they are correct and free of defects.
Obtain parts from the Parts Control Area if they are not pre-picked, ensuring they meet specifications.
Drill, ream, and countersink holes in parts/assemblies per specifications, using appropriate tools.
Disassemble parts and deburr holes to prepare for fastener installation.
Use solvents to clean surfaces prior to sealing or assembly, and apply sealants, alodine, primers, adhesives, and special finishes as required.
Install cable control pulleys and rig control cables according to drawings and specifications.
Check and adjust actuator motors for full travel of flight control systems using power sources and hand tools.
Clean the work area and ensure the removal of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and submit completed jobs or in-process checks to inspectors as required.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.

Job Summary:
Prepare, compound, dispense medications, and perform other technical duties in the pharmacy department under direct supervision of a Pharmacist. Must demonstrate competency through supervised observation and/or any other necessary annual required competencies. Must be proficient in all responsibilities and duties of certified pharmacy technician.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Medication Distribution
* Single Dispense - must prepare medications and/or IV for dispensing, select correct medication, correct strength, and correct form. Fill, label, and initial medication bag for a pharmacist verification.
* Bulk Dispense- Must fill multiple patient specific medications in accordance with department procedure.
* Transportation- bulk fill, first dose, and missing doses will be delivered securely to the appropriate units, while practicing appropriate procedure to ensure confidentiality for all patients.
* Missing Doses- upon request, must properly generate label, fill and have checked by a pharmacist, then dispense to the appropriate floor or unit.
* Product Preparation- must properly prepare, measure, count, medications including compound ointments, creams, oral solutions, oral solids, IV, etc.
(ADC) Automatic Dispensing Cabinet
* User- must be capable of accurately adding new users to the ADC system.
* Product- must properly load ADC with correct medications after medication is checked by a pharmacist. Monitor par levels and increase or decrease as needed.
* Reports- must be able to generate needed reports to fill, track, and identify/report all discrepancies.
* Minor Maintenance- must trouble shoot minor problems with ADC.
* Restock- must accurately fill medication, fluids and stock outs as needed.
* Recall- must assist the pharmacist and inventory specialist in retrieving recalled medications.
* Controlled Substances- Must follow all policies, procedures, and applicable laws with controlled substance medications.
IV Admixture
* Aseptic technique- Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic technique including; proper hand washing and proper use of IV Room attire. Understand Joint Commission, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures. Must complete an aseptic technique competency to show compliance with USP standards, conducted by supervisor or Lead Pharmacy Technician.
* Small volume- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing small volume admixtures
* Specialty solutions- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing epidural, intrathecal, intravenous, intramuscular, sterile syringes and chemotherapy (when applicable)
* Syringes- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing neonatal syringes (when applicable)
* Large volume- Demonstrate knowledge of preparing large volume solutions
* Room cleaning - Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures regarding maintaining clean room environment.
* Safety and Compliance Follows all safety and compliance standards for safely compounding medications. Always ensure that all requirements and procedures of United States Pharmacopeia are met.
Miscellaneous Activities:
* Repackaging and bar-coding medications- must accurately label all repackaged items per Georgia Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations.
* Properly provide customer service to customers and other healthcare professionals via in-person or virtual means.
* Process any charges: late charges, supplemental, OR charges, nuclear and exception report.
* Ordering supplies and obtaining purchase orders using the appropriate ordering system.
* Must be proficient in the distribution and accountability of Controlled Substance Medications.
* Code Carts / Kits - Must restock code carts and other kits returned to pharmacy according to departmental procedure and ensure required inspections are completed.
* Must perform monthly unit and pharmacy inspections and ensure that assigned pharmacy or medication area is clean including temperature and humidity monitoring.
* Must perform out date tracking on medications in various locations of the facility.

- Applies shielding, supportive and immobilization devices and equipment.

They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. The framework for practice is steered by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by the Wellstar Values. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the patient services team, it is expected that the individual upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals.

Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence base practice, uses analytical/critical thinking and ensuring that care is individualized; coordinating care through effective partnerships recognizing that caring is central to achieve optimal patient care outcomes B. Provides relationship-based patient centered care that is consistent with population specific characteristics (e.g. age, gender, disease, etc) in a manner that adapts service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity C. Always partners with the patient and significant others (as appropriate) using such appropriate method for setting and purpose (e.g., bedside shift report; interdisciplinary rounds; just in time and planned patient teaching; keeping the patient and significant others updated and making the patients goals the focus of the plan of care. D. Practices using current clinical practice standards. Teamwork and Collaboration A. Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model. This includes, but is not limited to diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods (interdisciplinary rounds, case review, etc); completion of timely documentation and promotion of a respectful, inclusive clinical environment B. Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration by practicing in a manner that is fiscally responsible and promotes the recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members. C. Participates and supports performance improvement inclusive of all stakeholders, research and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care including initiating and/or leading such activities as well as, promoting an inter/intra-disciplinary process and actively supports/participates in shared governance at all levels in the system. Professional Development and Initiative A. Completes all initial and ongoing professional competency assessment, required mandatory education, population specific education. B. Serves as a preceptor and/or or mentor for other professional nurses (and staff or students for all disciplines) to ensure that there is a current and future qualified workforce, modeling the professional practice of nursing and creating a healthy work environment Evidence Based Practice and Research A. Promotes Evidence based practice, nursing research and performance improvement in nursing. Participates in activities such as value analysis as part of the decision-making process in evaluating patient care products. B. Upholds all health care system/organizational policies and procedures and clinical competencies put forth by this job description and professional association including legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements and standards ensuring by way of example, such goals as TJC Patient Safety Goals and Wellstar Health Systems safety absolutes C. Participates in data collection, poses relevant clinical questions to advanced evidence-based practice. Consults appropriate experts and uses appropriate resources and evidence to address practice questions. Resources and Support A. Proactively plans for the care of patients across the care continuum in the course of giving direct patient care. B. Participates in the development of protocols and procedures when called upon or through self-initiation in collaboration with care managers and other members of the health care team to achieve best practice outcomes (i.e., decrease in re-admission rates; avoidable days; adverse events; etc). Required Minimum Education:
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred

- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ARC-NALS - Amer Red Cross Neonatal Advanced Life Support or NRP-I - NRP - Instructor or NRP-P - NRP-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
