Fabricates, assembles, and reworks multiple operation router blocks and/or multiple operation hand and hydropress forming blocks and accessories, when required tooling and information are available.
Lays out flat and simple templates using empirical bend allowance formulae.
Makes templates from flat layout masters; makes sample parts from extruded or standard formed materials where pickup and/or interpretation of information from plaster patterns; fabricates individual countour templates for use in box template setups.
Performs modification and rework of the level of difficulty of the operations described above.
PERFORMS SUCH RELATED DUTIES AS:
Fabricates shims, spacers, clamps, jig base and locator pads, ribs and other structural components. Prepares rough die stock, pipe, bar, plate and tubular stock for layout, machining, painting or inspection.
Moves, positions and helps others in handling, moving and positioning parts, dies, tools, equipment, fixtures and heavy materials as assigned; assists others in braking down setups, and returns tools and fixtures to proper sources; lays out and finishes simple templates such as individual trim, drill and bend templates, working from established references and blueprints, duplicates all types of individual templates from master layouts; cuts, fits, punches, shears and repairs templates as required; operates such machinery as saws, routers drill presses, shears, pedestal and disc grinders to perform such routine operations such as trimming, burring, sanding and drilling; performs assembly of tooling.
Paints and properly identifies and codes tooling.
Improvises shop aids to facilitate completion of work assignments.
Performs disassembly and cleaning of tooling. Checks tools for wear, damage, etc., and replaces defective or worn components such as bushings, shims, clamps and pins, and reassembles same.
Helps to maintain work area and machinery in a clean and orderly condition.
May require certifications and must be able to work any shift.

Your Role Accountabilities

The Role We Want You For

The Scheduling And Planning Manager builds and maintains the project schedule and the different baselines in accordance with Clayco's policies, owner requirements, and the on-going analysis of the network logic and validation as it complies with the intent of the project team. Cost and resource loading including the Clayco metrics and general conditions is required on all project schedules so, all report generation and cash flows will be a critical element of the role.

The Specifics Of The Role

Periodic progress updates of in-progress schedules. Collection of all pertinent data required to update the schedule. The Scheduler is responsible for collection of update data from multiple sources, including the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Owners Representatives and subcontractors. All update data shall be approved by the Project Manager prior to incorporation into the schedule.

Maintenance of Project Schedule Baselines. Maintains Project Schedule Baselines in accordance with Clayco's policy regarding Baselines and any additional requirements the Owner's contracts may include.

Periodic Performance Report Generation. Generation of project specific Performance Reports as well as Clayco Standard reports, including but not limited to: Critical Activities Report, Baseline Deviation Report, Earned Value Performance Index Report and Project Cash Flow Report.

Cost and Resource Loading of Schedules. Required at a minimum on all Clayco projects to include the Clayco Metrics Resource Set for project staff and General Conditions. As required by the project, updating cost and resource actuals may be required as part of the periodic progress update process.

Network Logic Analysis and Validation. On-going analysis of the network logic and validation that it complies with the intent of the project team and that it complies with the Clayco Standard Guidelines for network logic. The network logic on-going analysis shall also include removal of extraneous and superfluous dependencies that may cause errors in calculating total float and criticality.

Assist in preparation of Monthly Schedule Reporting. Preparation of the required reports for the project and shall include assisting with the draft of the Monthly Schedule Narrative.

Schedule Development. Developing schedules from the ground up for both proposals and construction projects. Development of both types of schedules shall be a team effort.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related major is required.

6-10 years of scheduling experience.

Data Center experience.

Recent expertise and a proven knowledge of Primavera P-6 scheduling management system.

1. Monitor and ensure quality print including tape tests throughout production runs.

2. Compare and approve print quality is within specified limits of the tri-fold color range.

3. Calculate the number of parts needed to complete the order.

4. Number labels on each order in sequence, beginning where the prior shift ended. If the order uses a lot number, lot numbers change at 7am and numbering begins with one and continues in sequential order until the order is completed.

5. Place completed boxes on skids and individual parts in totes or on tray packs. Place product of poor quality in a scrap box or tote.

6. Place SCRAP labels on all scrap containers. Products made of like materials are placed in the same box.

7. Complete the corresponding paperwork for each order.

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:

Bachelor's Degree. Four years of general office experience: follow a number of specific procedures in completing several clerical steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence, such as coding and filing documents in an extensive alphabetical file; simple posting to individual accounts; opening mail; running mail through metering machines; and calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts. Three years of experience utilizing a variety of office software, specifically Microsoft Office. Capable of performing tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ability to work in one place and traverse the office on a continuing basis. Must maintain constant awareness of all aspects of internal and external security. Job duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques.
  • Able to assist in the creation and presentation of content to various levels of leadership, efficiently work with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and Program/Project Managers and exert some influence on peers and internal customers.
  • Support/coordinate internal and external surveillance audits and DCMA surveillance reviews, and integrated baseline reviews
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, with particular focus on implementation of the NG Earned Value Management System

Basic Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in Business Management with Bachelor's degree OR - 7+ years of experience with a Master's
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and the development of an Integrated Master Schedule
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Full understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and the ability to support implementation on programs with varying contract types
  • Experience in supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)
