As the Director of Training, you'll spend approximately 10 hours a week conducting small group personal training sessions (up to 6 clients) in the studio. Key Responsibilities

Job Description

The Training Specialist supports Institutional Support Services (ISS) by designing, delivering, and maintaining effective training programs that enable colleagues to perform their roles efficiently, accurately, and in compliance. This position will deliver initial and ongoing training to ISS Colleagues. This role partners closely with ISS leaders and functional SMEs to support onboarding, role‑based training, process changes, and continuous skill development across ISS teams. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver onboarding and role‑specific training for new hires and internal transfers within ISS.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Training Lead will be responsible for management and oversight for all training and technical assistance projects and activity being conducted by Randi Schuster, PhD, Founding Director of the Center for School Behavioral Health, focused on community-based approaches to address adolescent substance use and its relationship with psychosocial, cognitive, and academic functioning.


The Training Lead will be principally in charge of managing the training and technical assistance of a drug education curriculum developed under the direction of Dr. Schuster in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, as well as potentially other programs as they arise. They will be responsible for coordination and training of school-based intervention facilitators; arrangement of logistics for training days and events; innovation related to training activities; communication and coordination with project and program team members; creation, management and QA of databases and reports for all training related activities. They will report directly to the Project Manager.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall implementation and daily management of school- and community-based training in iDECIDE, a drug education and diversion program
  • Maintain and update learning management system database; perform audits, including quality control and assurance of all LMS data
  • Responsible for primary day-to-day training duties for the iDECIDE program, serving as a central resource for all training related issues, including providing website maintenance, liaising with development for curriculum updates, managing the Learning Management System, and utilizing feedback from trainings to help inform on necessary changes to the materials and the training itself

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and driving consistency across contract processes.

In the first twelve to eighteen months, success in this role will include establishing consistent contract intake and review workflows, creating a usable playbook for common vendor negotiations, improving visibility into renewals and key contract terms, and helping us prepare for implementation of a CLM system.

This role will work closely with senior legal leadership and business stakeholders across the company.

In This Role, You Will

  • Manage contracting workflow from initial request through to signature cycle working closely with all departments.
  • Under supervision of legal counsel, draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of standard vendor contracts, including subscription agreements, confidentiality, master supply and services agreements, SOWs, distribution agreements, and independent contractor agreements.
  • Manage contract renewals, extensions, amendments, and terminations, negotiating terms that align with changing business needs.
  • Review lease documents, including amendments and terminations.
  • Provide guidance on contract interpretation and enforceability.

  • Monitor vendor performance against contract obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs), and take corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of contracts management, operations, or other comparable experience in a corporate setting, in-house legal department, or law firm.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and supply chain contracting principles.
  • A demonstrated understanding and strong working knowledge of common contractual issues associated with commercial agreements.
  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and managing multiple complex contracts.
  • Expert at MSWord Track Changes, DocuSign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with contract management software or CLM tools is a plus (e.g., IntelAgree, Ironclad, Coupa, SAP Ariba).
  • Able to meet deadlines and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure contract compliance and successful execution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
