Overview

BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.

BJC Home Care provides care to thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country.

Evelyn’s House is the newest addition to BJC Hospice and BJCs continuum of care for patients with life-limiting illness. Evelyn’s House staff are sensitive to the physical, psychosocial, emotional and spiritual needs of terminally ill adult and pediatric patients and their families. We provide a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals and volunteers, specially trained in pain and symptom management, counseling, and bereavement services for the dying. BJC Hospice services include alternative therapies such as music, art and massage therapy. BJC Hospice programs provide palliative care by helping patients manage their pain and symptoms while living their lives with daily peace and dignity.

Role Purpose

Evaluates the client and furnishes services requiring substantial and specialized skill, appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, and instructions to assist the client in learning appropriate self-care techniques. When assigned as case manager, the staff nurse is responsible for coordinating all aspects of care related to that patient.

Responsibilities

- Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
- Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
- Promotes respect, equity and empathy in interactions with diverse and vulnerable populations through care delivery (e.g. support for emotional, spiritual, and cultural preferences of patient, family and/or caregivers). Practices collaborative problem solving, service recovery and advocacy for patient family centered continuity of care. Implements care by integrating data from the interprofessional team and critical thinking in a safe and timely manner.
- Evaluates changes in patient's condition, informs and collaborates with family and/or caregivers, and communicates with interprofessional team as changes occur in plan of care, updates plan of care in EMR. Evaluates current nursing care to ensure evidence-based practice and quality patient outcomes.
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Klaviyo, or similar platforms.

What You’ll Do

The Regional Director of Sales leads occupancy growth across assigned senior living communities by developing sales strategies, coaching sales teams, and partnering with operations and marketing. What you'll do: The Associate Relations Specialist assists with managing associate relations issues and investigations, EEO complaints, conflict resolution and other work-related issues and case documentation.Β  This role will assist with researching, developing, implementing, and advising on HR policies consistent with federal and state laws and organizational needs.Β

Our Expectations

As an OT at this facility, we highly prefer someone with neurodevelopmental and sensory integration experience, as this makes up a large majority of the caseload. The caseload heavily consists of children with genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, brain injuries, extreme prematurity, and other diagnoses that come with accompanying motor and sensory processing difficulties.

The children who attend The Kidz Club range from NICU-discharged infants to young adults in wheelchairs. You must be comfortable treating this wide range of population to be successful here.

This facility has a heavy focus on interdisciplinary collaboration. You must be able to work well with other therapists and staff (ST, PT, ABA, nurses, caregivers, etc.) throughout the day, and be comfortable with basic medical terminology and processes.

This setting consists of medically-complex children, some with accompanying behavior issues as well. You must be confident in your knowledge of therapeutic intervention for unique cases, as well as confident in your ability to manage disruptive behaviors.

We operate on a fee-for-service basis, meaning you are paid for the hours you bill face-to-face with each child. Because of this, you have flexibility in your schedule, but you also need to be hard-working, self-motivated, and efficient with time management.

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of developmental, congenital, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders for the medical population, ages birth to 21.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans following a comprehensive evaluation to address clients' sensory processing, motor skills, cognitive abilities, self-care skills, play skills, and overall functional performance.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice in therapy sessions tailored to each client's specific impairments, including:
    • Sensory integration therapy to improve sensory processing and modulation.
    • Fine motor activities to enhance handwriting, manipulation skills, and hand-eye coordination.
    • Gross motor activities and orthotics to improve balance, coordination, mobility, and motor planning.
    • Self-care training to promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, feeding, and grooming.
    • Social skills training to enhance peer interaction, communication, and play skills.
    • Environmental modifications to support participation in home, school, and community settings.
  • Complete all documentation (evaluations, treatment notes, LMNs) in a timely, thorough manner.
  • Supervision of COTAs when necessary.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies for carry-over therapy at home.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

About the Role

Store Management

  • Sell and educate in-store to hit and exceed sales goals
  • Ensure a seamless client experience across all touch points
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative feedback and insights on a daily and weekly basis and share them with leadership
  • Collect key KPIs relating to store performance
  • Drive store events and initiatives and work in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Oversee store services and manage makeup appointment scheduling


Team Management

  • Mentor and train store MUAs in new product knowledge education, artistry and personal development
  • Build a team of high performing individuals that create a welcoming environment
  • Optimize workforce management by create schedules, maintaining budgets, approving timesheets, time off requests and managing payroll
  • Monitor individual retail team member performance and deliver consistent feedback
  • Adeptly manage and diffuse any conflicts between employees and customers
  • Ensure company policies are being upheld


Store Maintenance

  • Ensure all store areas are consistently stocked, orderly, and clean
  • Ensure proper inventory receiving processes and execution of inventory counts
  • Maintain store inventory and supplies and report any needs to the Supply Chain team
  • Report any store maintenance needs to Retail Operations
  • Perform store opening and closing duties on a daily basis
  • Maintain visual standards and overall aesthetic of the store


Qualifications

  • Experience in makeup artistry, retail management, hospitality, or a customer-facing role required at an managerial level
  • 5+ years experience in leading a team required
  • Passion for the Jones Road mission and products, and understanding of the Jones Road clean beauty aesthetic
  • Customer-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal, problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Proficient in generating weekly reporting, scheduling, and project management to drive sales
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and POS systems
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 lbs
  • Resides in or proximate to Santa Monica


Pay Range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 a year annually.
