Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant Trainee is enrolled in a learning experience designed to develop the confidence and competence to serve as a caregiver that provides personal care to clients. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the trainee, in partnership with a preceptor, provides holistic client-centered care that promotes independence and client rights in a safe, caring, and efficient manner.   • Ensures accurate calibrations, cleaning and scheduled maintenance of clinical/lab equipment as required by OSHA, DHEC and UMA; tracked by documentation.


  • Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and any other pertinent information, communicating as appropriate. Document test and exam results. Communicates plan of care to the patient including formal development of patient education materials as necessary.


  • Maintains exam room supplies, instruments and cleanliness of patient care environment, as required by OSHA, DHEC and UMA.


  • Maintains timely flow of patient, assists with scheduling of appointments and referrals based on urgency and availability. Screens patients for appropriate information and provides patient education as appropriate for diagnosis and treatment.


  • Observes, records and reports patient's physical and psychosocial condition, reactions to medication and treatments to physician. Responds to and triages phone calls. Call in orders appropriately as ordered by physician. Instructs patient, as ordered by the physician, regarding treatment and/or medication. Responsible for monitoring and distribution of medication including samples and controlled substances.


  • Triages patients and prepares for physician exams and procedures. Assists with exam, procedures and treatments as necessary. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests. Administers prescribed treatments and tests as ordered by the physician.


Additional Job Description

CMA I Required Minimum Training and Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.

CMA Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:  Must be certified through American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association of Healthcare Professionals (NAHP), Medical Career Assessments (MedCA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Physical Requirements: Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking and sitting. Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions. Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required.  Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors.  Frequently lift, lower, push and pull and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs (+/-) unassisted, exert up to 50 lbs of force, lift from 36” to overhead 25 lbs.   Infrequently work in dusty areas and confined/cramped spaces.

What will your day look like here?
  • Handle all phases of defense in workers’ compensation matters — from intake and investigation, through discovery, depositions, trials, settlement negotiations.
  • Represent clients in cases involving Labor Code § 132a, serious & willful misconduct allegations, etc.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents with precision.
  • Work closely with clients (employers, carriers, administrators, municipalities) to counsel them on risk, strategy, and liability.
  • Liaise with medical experts, investigators, adjusters, and court personnel.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in California workers’ compensation law and practice.

Job Summary:

The Truck Driver should be well-organized and transport liquid asphalt, emulsion, liquid calcium chloride, stone, blacktop and equipment in a safe and responsible manner. This position will require the driver to be able to operate numerous types of vehicles and equipment.


Essential Functions:

1. Safety always wins. Safely transport liquid asphalt, stone, blacktop, and other materials and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

2. Mastery. Employee must ensure that the vehicle is in proper and safe condition prior to use and accept responsibility to report any damage or mechanical malfunctions that exist.

3. Focused. Operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly, as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment to load, transport, and stockpile raw materials and finished products within the quarry site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuous material flow to meet production and shipping demands.


Essential Functions:

  1. Safety always wins. Operate loaders and other heavy equipment safely, following all OSHA/MSHA and company procedures. Maintain a zero-incident mindset, wear required PPE, and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
  2. Dedication. Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and cleaning of equipment. Report needed repairs and assist with maintenance or site duties to keep operations running smoothly.
  3. Efficiency. Load, move, and stockpile aggregates and other materials according to production requirements, ensuring organized and accurate placement.
  4. Respect and engage. Work closely with coworkers, scale house personnel, and supervisors—using two-way radios and face-to-face communication—to support safe, efficient production.
  5. Committed to serve. Maintain consistent attendance, follow schedules, and contribute to a clean, safe, and team-oriented work environment.
