Family Law Attorney
Job Description
We are working with an Award Winning Law Firm, specializing in Family Law litigation. They are looking for a Family Law Attorney to join the team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 4+ years of experience.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of family law experience
- Previous litigation experience
- Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration
- Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Licensed and in good standing in Illinois
Responsibilities:
- Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
- Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
The annual salary for this position is between 120k-160k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
