About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on Epic experience, proven classroom training ability (virtual and in-person), and a strong background in cardiology and radiology workflows. This role partners closely with Epic analysts and clinical stakeholders to develop role-based curricula, training materials, and competency assessments to support implementations, upgrades, and ongoing optimization.

Summary:
The Epic Systems Analyst is a senior-level, independent contributing IT professional responsible for the development, testing, maintenance, and support of Epic applications and related technologies. This role partners closely with clinical and business stakeholders to ensure Epic applications—specifically Grand Central, Prelude, and Eligibility—effectively support operational and patient access workflows. The analyst monitors system performance, leads application enhancements and upgrades, resolves issues, develops reports, and ensures quality control prior to release. This position also provides consultative support by analyzing current processes, identifying gaps, and recommending technology-driven solutions aligned with organizational and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Position requires at least 5 years of direct EPIC Analyst experience
- Epic Grand Central, Prelude, and Eligibility certifications
- A BA/BS degree in IS or Business is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Epic Grand Central AND Prelude certification - 1 or both

Epic Beacon Analyst (Proficient or Certified) FTE/Hybrid Schedule
Epic Certified Systems Analyst works with Epic Systems' electronic health record (EHR) software, focusing on implementation, configuration, and support.
They evaluate workflows, collect requirements, and configure the system to meet specific objectives, ensuring optimal functionality for both end-users and the organization. Additionally, they contribute to projects, offer training, and resolve issues.
Required:
- Proficient or Certified in Epic Beacon application.
- At least one year experience with build and/or maintenance of the Beacon module.

This role is a key member of the reporting team, focusing on building and implementing foundational elements of EPIC reporting systems, custom reporting solutions, and end user Cogito training to support CHA’s needs.
The Senior EPIC Reporting Administrator supports complex or critical business processes and systems by providing essential IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- EPIC Reporting System Management: Act as the Reporting Workbench (RW) programmer, coordinating and managing the RW application.
- System Build and Configuration: Build and implement RW templates, queries, columns, action buttons, and other items. Execute the overall MyEPIC implementation and build, configuring MyEPIC reporting homepages and dashboards in collaboration with reporting analysts.
- System Administration: Take the role of a system administrator for EPIC reporting tools, including administering user security for MyEPIC and Reporting Workbench.
- Data and Analytics Support: Provide senior-level support to data analysis and reporting efforts, and work with end users to identify the best platforms for reports and analysis.
