The Pittsburgh Office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby is looking for a litigation associate who will devote their practice to environmental litigation. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience, including drafting motions, pleadings, and written discovery, and managing document review projects. Facility: Various Locations on Rikers Island
Under the general direction of the Director of Safety & Environmental Health, or designee, the Occupational Safety & Environmental Health Coordinator is responsible to lead initiatives related to incident response and reporting of workplace violence and staff occupational injuries. Conduct routine safety rounds in all facilities where CHS employees are located while identifying potential environmental safety hazards to the Department of Corrections (DOC) for mitigation. The Occupational Safety & Environmental Health Coordinator will engage with staff to identify safety gaps or environmental health concerns, provide on-going support and follow-up for staff involved in workplace violence incidents and/or who have suffered occupational injuries. This position serves as a central resource for safety education, incident response, and environmental risk mitigation across all CHS sites and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond on-site to serious incidents of workplace violence, occupational injury, or environmental hazards, to provide support, gather factual information and develop a detailed report of findings.
- Conduct post-incident well-being checks for employees who were involved in a workplace violence incident or who may have sustained a severe work-related injury.
- Assist in maintaining workplace violence, occupational injury, and other safety-related databases and logs.
- Compile workplace violence and staff injury reports for distribution to required entities.
- Performs regularly scheduled and unannounced walkthroughs of Rikers Island, community warehouses, outposted sites, and court-based facilities for the purpose of engaging staff to identify, document and address their workplace concerns in a timely manner.
- Conduct in-service education to healthcare personnel on safety procedures, including but not limited to situational awareness, workplace violence prevention, and emergency response actions.
- Represent CHS as needed in internal or external committees and workgroups where Safety representation or perspective is required.
- Implement and maintain safety standards and protocols that comply with local, state, and federal regulations. This includes conducting routine safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Other relevant assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and one (1) year of full-time experience in an administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care or medical/patient systems administration; or,

Job Summary
The EHS Compliance Specialist is a critical, high-visibility role responsible for the leadership, ownership, and continuous improvement of all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. This position ensures complete compliance with OSHA, TOSHA, EPA, and internal quality standards (ISO 14001, IATF 16949 requirements) to maintain a proactive, injury-free work environment. The Specialist serves as the primary EHS subject matter expert and driver of safety culture change within the manufacturing facility.
Major Accountabilities
EHS Leadership & Culture
- Owns and drives the site's EHS strategy, working collaboratively with the Plant Manager and Operations leadership.
- Creates and sustains a proactive, behavioral-based safety culture through employee engagement, recognition programs, and strong visible leadership on the plant floor.
- Leads the development, delivery, and documentation of all required safety and environmental training programs.
- Conducts thorough and root-cause-focused accident and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintains authority to shut down production or specific processes immediately due to imminent safety hazards.
Compliance & Management Systems
- Serves as the ISO 14001:2015 Site Representative, ensuring compliance, conducting internal audits, and driving continual improvement within the Environmental Management System.
- Manages and ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements (OSHA, TOSHA, EPA).
- Maintains and updates all official documentation, including OSHA Logs (300, 300A), training records, and environmental audit reports.

Workers' Compensation & HR Collaboration

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of dedicated safety experience in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge of OSHA and TOSHA General Industry Standards is required.

- Responsible for supporting and providing process maintenance and continuous improvement for all safety programs of the Anaheim, CA location, which include hands on assistance, program implementation, training, and organization of monthly meetings and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, OSHA and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of dsm-firmenich’s SHE Policies and Procedures. The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $95,000-$150,000.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement ITSM Pro and ITOM solution architecture, design, and configuration, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform
2. Ensure solution meets business needs, is scalable, secure, and cost-effective, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution scope, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Design and implement ITSM Pro processes, workflows, and integrations (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, etc.), with hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM Pro
5. Design and implement ITOM processes, workflows, and integrations (Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management, etc.), with hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and architecture diagrams, with excellent technical writing skills
7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects and implementation team members, with a focus on knowledge sharing and team collaboration
8. Ensure solution aligns with ITSM and ITOM best practices and ServiceNow guidelines, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions

Senior / Principal Environmental Engineer – Remediation Design Leadership (Seattle, WA)
We are partnering with a well-established, employee-owned environmental and engineering consulting firm with a strong Pacific Northwest footprint to support the growth of their environmental engineering leadership team.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a Senior or Principal Environmental Engineer who wants autonomy, long-term ownership, and the opportunity to mentor the next generation of remediation professionals.
The Role:
This position is focused on technical delivery first, with gradual business development responsibility over time. You will lead remediation and cleanup projects while helping develop junior engineers into strong design and consulting professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading remedial design and site cleanup projects (upland and inland)
• Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineering staff
• Supporting project management and client delivery
• Acting as a senior technical advisor across remediation programs
• Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
• Supporting controlled business growth over time
This is not a pure sales role. Technical excellence, mentorship, and delivery leadership are core priorities.
What They’re Looking For
• Senior or Principal level Environmental Engineer
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• 8+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Strong remedial design and cleanup project experience
• Experience mentoring or developing junior technical staff
• Client-facing experience (preferably with manufacturers, legal, industrial, redevelopment or public sector clients)
• Interest in gradually expanding a personal client base (not required to arrive with a fully portable book)
• Willingness to work in-office a few days per week in Seattle
Compensation & Ownership
• Senior Engineer base salary: $150K–$180K
• Principal Engineer base salary: $200K–$250K
