Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Own and maintain the AS9100-compliant QMS, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as primary point of contact during customer and regulatory audits.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, CORE).
• Ensure product compliance, manage customer escapes, and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
• Partner cross-functionally to align quality strategy with business and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years of Quality experience in Aerospace or comparable regulated industry (Automotive Manufacturing considered).
• Strong QMS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior people leadership or client-facing liaison experience.

Preferred

• Experience as AS9100 certification.
• AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAIR) experience.
• NADCAP familiarity.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency.
• Experience with SOWs, SCARs, and supplier quality requirements.
