The Role
We are seeking a high-ownership manufacturing leader with a strong chemical engineering or process engineering background who thrives in complex, fast-growing environments and enjoys building systems that support scale.
This role exists to build and lead Carpe’s contract manufacturing and process engineering capability as the company rapidly expands production across multiple product categories and retail partners.

Job Description:
L3Harris Space and Mission Systems has a need for an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) and Control Account Manager (CAM) Project Engineer (PE). This critical position leads the development and delivery of cutting-edge Space-based payloads and sensors for remote sensing, missile warning and track, and space warfighting within technical, cost, and schedule objectives of a project baseline throughout all phases of the program life cycle. This role is responsible for full lifecycle Project Engineering support for a range of software and hardware development, assembly, and integration and test efforts.
The position is critical to our warfighter customer to ensure delivery of crucial space products!
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for successfully leading a project team to meet customer requirements within allocated cost and schedule commitments.
- Develops, oversees, and coordinates the cost/schedule/technical aspects of an ongoing engineering project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
- Reviews status of engineering projects and budgets, manages schedules, drives execution, identifies opportunities, and delivers results through achieving payment milestones.
- Assesses engineering issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Identifies, tracks, mitigates, manages, and dispositions program-level risks and opportunities.
- Estimate resource and material needs for the project/product.
- Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
- Understands how to develop a schedule using Earned Value (EV) and manage a project using the Earned Value Indicators on a DCMA surveilled program (highest rigor applied).
- Participate in small teams and perform a wide variety of tasks to drive execution (e.g., value stream mapping activities)
- Must have ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment on quick reaction projects and will have regular contact with customers.
- Must be able to get a program SAP security clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Active Top Secret security clearance required
- Prior or current IPTL/CAM Professional experience
- Prior or current experience with project engineering and program execution
- Experience in managing multi-discipline programs across multiple locations
- Experience in managing a team Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL) and driving labor resources in a matrix organization
- Experience with Technical Supplier Management, Risk and Opportunity Management
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in space telescope, optical-mechanical development programs is preferred
- Experience or knowledge of Government contract acquisition lifecycle a plus
- Experience with management of design to cost activities
- Experience with program pursuit and proposal activities
- Experience with operations and/or manufacturing activities
- Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action process and techniques
- Experience managing projects with total budgets of $70M+
- Experience in software development and integration programs
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $106,500 – $197,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Director of Engineering – PLM & Data Governance
Location – Evansville, IN
The Director of Engineering – PLM & Data Governance is responsible for the strategy, architecture, governance, and operational reliability of the organization’s digital engineering ecosystem. This role oversees Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD configuration management, and engineering data infrastructure.
This leader ensures that engineering artifacts such as CAD models, bills of materials, specifications, requirements, revisions, and engineering change records are accurate, secure, compliant, and accessible across the organization. The role also supports the development of a consistent digital thread connecting product development, manufacturing, and lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Systems Ownership
- Provide strategic direction and lifecycle management for PLM, CAD configuration management, and related engineering platforms.
- Define system architecture, configuration standards, lifecycle schemes, and long-term system roadmaps.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
Data Governance Leadership
- Establish policies, standards, and controls for engineering and product data.
- Define naming conventions, metadata structures, and data ownership models.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Lead master data governance efforts for product-related information.
Digital Thread Integration
- Drive integration between PLM and enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, QMS, analytics platforms, and other business systems.
- Ensure accurate and automated transfer of key product data including:
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Item master data
- Revisions
- Engineering change information
- Enable visibility into engineering utilization and product lifecycle performance.
Change and Configuration Management
- Standardize and automate engineering change workflows including ECR, ECO, ECN, and deviation processes.
- Establish structured and configurable BOM management practices.
- Maintain synchronization between Engineering BOM (EBOM) and Manufacturing BOM (MBOM).
- Implement centralized configuration rules and variant management.
- Ensure automated workflow notifications and task assignments for stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Organizational Development
- Lead and develop the data management team, including PLM administrators, data engineers, and system architects.
- Coordinate activities across distributed or global teams.
- Establish clear process ownership and accountability across engineering data domains.
- Strengthen capabilities in systems administration, governance, and analytics.
Continuous Improvement and Modernization
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and workflow improvements.
- Lead multi-year initiatives including:
- PLM platform upgrades
- ERP integrations

Training and Capability Development

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in PLM, engineering systems, or product data management leadership roles
- Experience administering and managing PLM platforms (Autodesk Vault Professional preferred)
- Strong understanding of CAD data management, BOM structures (EBOM and MBOM), and engineering change processes
- Experience integrating PLM with ERP or other enterprise systems

Role: Engine Production Engineer
Location: Middletown, Connecticut Onsite (no remote no hybrid)
Term: Contract
- Working alongside a large engine manufacturer customer team performing engine production engineering tasks:
- Coordinate engine production engineering actions between the technicians and client IPT/Engineering groups.
- Support designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, systems, and tools to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient production.
- Communicate technical issues to IPT/Engineering groups and work with cross-functional teams to support finding solutions.
- Collect and report engine production status to IPT/Engineering groups.
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in technical management of engine parts, repair, engine test, engine assembly and disassembly
- Familiar with engine work instructions, part/assembly drawings and materials lists

The Industrial Automation Engineering Director is responsible for leading a team of engineers focused on the successful execution of manufacturing engineering projects. This includes overseeing all aspects of project implementation, from initial processing, design and development to final production launch at the assembly site. The Execution Senior Manager will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will be involved with setting the direction for the future of our manufacturing process. This position takes on a high level of independent decision making and communication as the lead onsite during project installation and startup.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement project plans, investment required, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, bill of process, bill of equipment, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Management, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in warehouse/distribution center design and
optimization in large-scale projects
• Demonstrated track record of end-to-end warehouse design implementations
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Six Sigma,
ensuring efficient project execution and continuous improvement.
• Experience with processing equipment, throughput, and comprehensive understanding
of manufacturing processes, enabling effective design and production.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
methodologies, fostering operational efficiency and waste reduction.
• A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working
environment for all team members.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, demonstrating the ability to
thrive in fast-paced settings. Experience with reliability and maintainability of
processing equipment, standalone availability, and throughput.
Salary: $180,000 + bonus
