Job Summary
The Member & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and organized experience for BGCO members, families, volunteers, and community partners. This position supports the day-to-day management of membership systems, family communications, volunteer coordination, and community engagement activities.
The Coordinator helps ensure accurate membership records, supports volunteer recruitment and onboarding, and assists with outreach efforts to increase participation in BGCO programs.
Working closely with the Club Operations team, this role helps strengthen connections between BGCO, our members, families, volunteers, and the broader Oakland community.
Primary Responsibilities:
Membership & Member Services
- Support the membership registration process, including maintaining accurate records in MyClubHub (Salesforce Platform).
- Assist families with membership questions and program enrollment.
- Ensure membership records are current.
- Serve as a point of contact for membership system support and troubleshooting.
- Assist Club staff with administrative support related to member services and program operations.
Volunteer Coordination
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of volunteers across BGCO Clubhouses.
- Coordinate volunteer applications, background checks, and onboarding requirements in partnership with HR.
- Help match volunteers with meaningful opportunities that support BGCO programs and events.
- Maintain volunteer records and assist with volunteer communications and scheduling.

Housing & Homelessness Services works to build a robust, integrated, and coordinated system for housing and homelessness services and acts as the County’s point of contact on homelessness strategic planning and program development. Formerly the Office of Homeless Care and Coordination (OHCC), Housing & Homelessness Services (H&H) works to improve health and housing outcomes among people experiencing homelessness.

POSITION
Under direction, to provide program planning, technical assistance, review and evaluation functions to direct client service delivery programs where such services are provided by community-based organizations (CBO's), contract service providers and/or County staff in a wide variety of service areas; to act as County liaison with service providers and funding sources and ensure that program regulations and procedures are followed; and to do related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
The equivalent to graduation from an accredited four year college or university (180 quarter units or 120 semester units) with major coursework in business or public administration, a social science or a field related to the program area to which assigned.

Experience:
The equivalent to three years of full-time professional-level or supervisory work in the direct delivery of services to clients or the oversight of such services in the program area to which assigned, one year of which must have included program planning and evaluation, or in program administration, contract negotiations, grants management and similar financial services.

Position Summary
CTE is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support projects related to zero-emission transportation, industry collaboration, and workforce development. This internship is part of CTE’s structured summer internship program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the clean transportation sector while developing professional skills and industry knowledge.
The intern will work closely with CTE staff in Berkeley and across the organization to support a range of initiatives, including project research, administrative coordination, and internal process improvement. What You’ll Do
- Manage cases from pleadings through trial and appeal
- Draft and revise pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Oversee document production and eDiscovery workflows

- Cite-check briefs (legal + factual citations)
- Coordinate with Litigation Support on database management (iPro or similar)
- Maintain discovery logs and case indices

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of recent California litigation experience

They are seeking a Litigation Secretary to support attorneys in their San Francisco office.
Flexible hybrid schedule: 3 days per week onsite the first 6 months, then no mandated onsite days.
Responsibilities:
- E-file documents with local, state, federal and appellate courts. Research local rules. Prepare documents for filing under seal. Prepare courtesy copies.
- Prepare and process correspondence and memoranda as well as complex legal documents.
- Prepares shell/template documents (including pleadings and discovery), composes and drafts routine cover letters, emails and documents. Proofread and prepare revisions of documents, and redline documents.
- Review, scan, distribute incoming mail to assigned attorneys.
- Maintain and update the calendars for assigned attorneys, including meetings, appointments, due dates, and client-related activities.
- Create and maintain client files and indexes.
- Enter daily timesheets, prepare expense reimbursement and disbursement requests.
- Coordinate client billing matters with the billing department.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, and prepares travel expense reports.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate related logistics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite of software (Word, Outlook, and Excel), document management, time entry and other database software.
- Accurate typing at a net speed of at least 65 words per minute.
- Strong e-filing skills.
