They’re now looking for a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth across the US market.

What you’ll be doing

• Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through to closing

• Target large engineering-led organisations (5,000+ employees) across the US

• Sell directly to VPs of Engineering, Simulation Leaders, and R&D teams

• Lead technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts with engineering stakeholders

• Build and execute a strategic territory plan to generate and convert pipeline

Field Service Technician

Qualifications and Skills

·        Strong Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills

·        With minimal direction, able to travel to customer sites nationwide, troubleshoot and identify issues, and solve so that machine functions as required

·        Ability to read and redline electrical prints and mechanical drawings

·        Ability to use mechanical tools in a safe manner such as, but not limited to, wrench, screwdriver, drill, hammer, crowbar

·        Ability to use electrical tools in a safe manner such as, but not limited to, multimeter, wire stripper, ferrule crimper, signal generator

Daily Responsibilities

40% Machine Building in Shop (Billerica, MA)

·        Assembling machines based on assembly drawings provided by engineering

·        Ensuring that all machines are built on time, on budget, and 100% correctly

·        Working with engineering to fix and modify any parts that are not correct

·        Properly documenting build per shop standards

25% Customer Installations

·        Commissioning machines onsite and demonstrating system to operators, sanitation, and maintenance and making them excited about the system

·        Staying until the customer is 100% satisfied and everything is working properly

10% Solving Down Customers (while in shop)

·        Assisting customers over the phone with down machines

·        Absolute sense of urgency to get the machine back up and running

25% Customer Service Calls

·        Traveling to customer sites to perform routine maintenance

·        Make everyone at the customer site excited about the machine and how well it operates

·        Includes preventative maintenance conducted during factory shutdown weeks

·        A small percentage of this will include emergency service calls which may require some last-minute travel to get the customer back up and running

Works Hours and Schedule

Hourly / Full time position

Standard 8hr days, 8am to 4:30pm when in office

Hours vary when traveling, travel will not exceed 2 weeks at a time

Work Environment

The working conditions on a manufacturing floor typically involve a challenging environment where diligence and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Employees may be required to stand for extended periods, operate machinery, and manage various tools and materials. The environment can be loud due to the operation of equipment, and temperature conditions may vary depending on the nature of production activities. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is often mandatory to ensure safety, and workers should be prepared for repetitive tasks and physical activity, including bending, crawling, kneeling, lifting, and moving heavy items. Collaboration with team members and adherence to strict quality standards are integral to the workflow.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects including planning, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, safety, construction, testing and start-up. Projects will range in size from small equipment or system modifications to major new programs. Projects will include safety improvements, energy conservation, site infrastructure, buildings and production equipment. Project Manager will interface with internal Teams and external contractors, equipment suppliers, engineering firms and regulatory agencies as necessary. Project managers’ key responsibility is the safe delivery of projects on time, on budget while maintaining quality standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety best practices.
• Lead project development process from conceptual design through construction.
• Manage project design utilizing internal and/or external design resources. Challenge design development through the entire process to eliminate scope creep and over conservative design.
• Manage and update project budget through the design and final CAPEX approval process. This includes equipment quotes and sub-contractor scopes of work.
• Manage procurement process by balancing cost, quality and lead time. Ensure procurement of long lead equipment does not impact project schedule.
• Create project schedules in Microsoft Project and update on a periodic basis. Actively manage project schedule to achieve earliest possible completion dates.
• Prepare project specific safety plans that address the unique challenges and risks of each project. Work with the EH&S Team to eliminate project risks.
• Identify project critical attributes, necessary 3rd party inspections and maintain quality control document.
• Ensure that project files are complete, accurate and as-built documentation is provided to Mill.
• Manage internal and external relationships for a successful project outcome.
• Hold Project Team accountable for safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Provide complete and concise internal updates to project stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• BS in a technical discipline, Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering.
• Advanced degree and Professional certifications are desirable.
• 15 years of progressive experience in Construction Management, Engineering or Operations, including employment in a process‐related industrial facility and/or an industrial consulting engineering design firm.
• Strong business process skills, including project management, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Must have proven project management skills and competencies.
• Strong project controls skills including budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and establish and meet financial and schedule constraints.
• Must be highly motivated and be able to work both independently and as a collaborative team leader and member.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams consisting of internal staff and external contractors, supervising engineering, and construction activities, and preparing turnover documentation.
• Ability to effectively work on projects remotely using remote project management tools and routine site visits.
• Working knowledge of computers and application of software to develop and communicate engineering solutions (including MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Exchange, AutoCAD, others).

POSITION – Senior Optical Design Engineer 

Reporting to the Lead, the Senior Optical Design Engineer will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and scientists to help envision and design cutting-edge Myrias Optics components and systems. Specifically, this position will head up Myrias’ design efforts, shaping the optical components and subsystem for our external customers and internal products.  This position will also be responsible for growing and managing the optical design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and capable engineer to gain expertise in the growing fields of meta-optics, waveguides, and diffractive optics.  Together, we can shape next-generation optical systems for consumer devices, AR/VR, medical instrumentation, automobiles, robotics, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• In collaboration with the technical team, the candidate will perform day-to-day metasurface design and analysis based on Myrias’ proprietary all-inorganic nano-imprint materials and processes. 
• Expand Myrias’ design capabilities, including development of simulation workflows and modeling pipelines using in-house developed codes, to advance our unique and proprietary optical design environment.   
• Design and simulate optical components and sub systems (waveguides, diffractive optics, meta-optics, etc.)  
• Automate design tasks using Python and MATLAB for next-generation and future metasurface products.   
• Perform tolerance studies, optimize, and iterate on designs to meet manufacturing requirements for Myrias’ products.  
• Coordinate with process development and production teams to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing.  
• Support specification and acquisition of key design tools and hardware. 
• Providing customer support for new designs and products and participating in customer meetings. 
• Create detailed internal specification documents for simulation methodologies, design rules, and customer product reports. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ph.D. or MS.c. with 5+ years of related experience in optical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent field. 
• Strong experience conducting design and simulation of optical components and systems, such as diffractive optics, imaging systems, optical waveguides, laser systems. 
• Solid understanding of metasurface physics, and diffractive, geometrical, and ray optics. 
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ for scientific computing, and workflow automation. 
• Extensive hands-on experience with commercial and custom optical design and simulation tools, including RCWA (e.g., S4), FDTD (Meep or Lumerical), Zemax/CodeV, and RSoft; familiarity with additional modeling techniques and tools such as TMM, FEM, LightTrans, etc., is highly desirable. 
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, as well as experience using SLURM for workload and job management. 
• Experience with optical characterization and the ability to experimentally validate designs in a laboratory setting. 
• Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills. 
• Familiarity with CAD design packages (e.g., SolidWorks or AutoCAD) are desirable. 
• Familiarity with imprint or nanofabrication processes and cleanroom experience are a plus. 
• Ability to bridge technology development with commercial demands.  
• Comfortable with the fast-paced startup or early-stage business environment.
