We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our marketing org. As a Data Scientist you introduce greater scientific rigor into the marketing measurement and optimization processes to shape Pinterest's revenue growth and marketing strategy. The results of your work will influence and drive strategic decisions for the company - identify investment opportunities for growth, understand revenue growth and behavior, and define metrics to grow and sustain our advertiser base. What you'll do:

What we're looking for:

The Team:

Pinterest's Infrastructure Governance (InfraGov) team is a small, high-impact group driving the strategy and execution of key infrastructure programs that keep Pinterest scalable, cost-effective, and secure. Our charter covers everything from cloud spend control and capacity management to automation and vendor relationships. We work closely with engineering, finance, procurement, and major cloud partners to tackle Pinterest's most complex and important infrastructure challenges.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $153,500 - $217,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location. The Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Postdoc in the Bouchard Lab, in the area of theoretical neuroscience. The Bouchard lab at UC Berkeley is an interdisciplinary team that focuses on understanding how distributed neural circuits give rise to coordinated behaviors and perceptions. There will be collaboration with the lab members at LBNL. We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to work at the interface of control theory, information theory, dynamical systems, statistical machine learning, and neural time-series data. The goal is to better understand principles and mechanisms underlying distributed brain network computations through the dual lenses of control theory and information theory. This position will focus on developing and applying theory, models, and methods that provide principled understanding of simultaneous multi-region, high-dimensional neural population dynamics from diverse brain areas.

* manuscript preparation

Lab:

PhD (or equivalent international degree) or enrolled in a PhD (or equivalent international degree) program.
