Qualifications & Requirements

● 5+ years’ experience in heavy civil construction, emphasizing underground utilities, sewer/stormwater pump stations, WWTP/WTP work, heavy highway, bridges/concrete structures, and commercial/residential site work arena.
● Proficient in HCSS Heavy Bid
● Negotiated project experience preferred, including technical writing skills.
● Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

General Summary
As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering group at Penumbra, you will be called upon to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Director / Vice President of Manufacturing is a senior leadership role primarily responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and scaling all manufacturing-related functions. This role has a strong hands-on focus on manufacturing execution, production planning, sustaining engineering, and supply chain readiness within a regulated medical device environment.
The position ensures manufacturing excellence across quality, cost, delivery, and compliance, while partnering with R&D and Quality to support product development, transfer, and commercialization. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide executive leadership and direct oversight of all manufacturing operations, including production, assembly, kitting, purchasing, supplier management, and sustaining engineering.
- Develop and execute a manufacturing strategy aligned with company growth, product roadmap, and commercialization timelines.
- Own manufacturing readiness for new product introductions (NPI), including design transfer, process validation, equipment qualification, and scale-up.
- Drive manufacturing efficiency, yield, cost reduction, and capacity planning through Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain best practices for production planning, inventory management, component sourcing, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
● Deal Sourcing & Underwriting – Build a statewide first then nationwide broker network, identify sites, and produce institutional-grade pro formas and feasibility models.

The Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Commercial Operations & Events Manager to become the operational backbone of our commercialization team.

The Team:
This role is within the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) Compliance Technical Program Management team which delivers critical & strategic technical compliance outcomes by directing and scaling engineering effort across organizational and functional boundaries. The programs they lead have most or all of these characteristics:

We are seeking a dedicated, centralized Senior Technical Program Manager to establish and own our AI Compliance program, with a primary focus on GenAI risk mitigation. This specialized, high-impact role will bridge technical innovation, business strategy, and global regulatory requirements, ensuring our GenAI initiatives are both cutting-edge and compliant.
What you'll do:
- Strategy and Program Ownership: Establish, own, and continually iterate on the holistic AI Governance and Risk Management Framework for the company, integrating it across all relevant engineering and product teams.
- Regulatory Compliance Roadmapping: Partner closely with Legal to translate emerging global AI regulations into concrete engineering requirements, compliance plans, and a unified roadmap.
- Risk Mitigation Systems: Establish and improve risk management systems, including developing internal policies for responsible AI practices, defining AI safety principles, establishing metrics that ensure effective compliance, and improving Pinterest's ability to mitigate risks of AI development through internal platforms and infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the central compliance TPM lead, facilitating and driving consensus across Legal, Security, Privacy, Data Engineering, and Product teams to mitigate distributed AI risks.
- Operational Excellence: Incorporate AI compliance program status into leadership risk management reporting and establish tracking and review processes for GenAI features and open-source (OSS) model usage.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with AI model and feature development.
- 8+ years of experience as a technical program manager supporting Compliance or Trust & Safety Programs, or related experience.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong leadership, who can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up and thrive in ambiguity.
- Passion for execution and getting things done.
- Solid technical background and ability to quickly understand technical designs, challenges and risks. Experience breaking down complex problems and driving decision making.
- Strong analytical abilities, able to create & monitor metrics, proactively identify growth opportunities & incidents.
- Strong written, verbal communication skills and comfort in communicating nuanced, and often technical, concepts to internal stakeholders or external partners.
- Ability to influence teams & drive alignment among multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and driving efficient processes at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer and information technology, or equivalent experience.

Staff Design Quality Engineer – Class III Implantable Medical Device
San Francisco Bay Area | Full-Time | Hybrid
A fast-growing medical device company developing next generation implantable technology is expanding its engineering team and hiring a Staff Design Quality Engineer to support the development of a highly innovative Class III medical device platform.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role embedded directly with R&D, focused on ensuring quality is built into product development from early feasibility through clinical and commercial stages.
You will play a key role in helping bring a breakthrough therapy to market while working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional leaders in a collaborative development environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with R&D and systems engineering teams to integrate design quality into product development
- Lead and support design control activities throughout the product lifecycle
- Drive risk management efforts (ISO 14971) including hazard analysis, FMEAs, and risk mitigation strategies
- Support verification and validation planning and execution
- Ensure compliance with FDA design control requirements and global quality standards
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews and technical decision making
- Help translate regulatory and quality requirements into practical engineering processes
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
- 7+ years of experience in medical device product development or design quality
- Strong experience with design controls and risk management
- Experience supporting Class II or Class III medical devices
- Ability to collaborate closely with R&D in early-stage product development
- Experience supporting IDE, PMA, or complex regulatory pathways is highly valued
