Facilities Engineer - PM

Pay rate: Up to 115k + Bonus

Position Overview

The Facilities Engineer / Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating strategic projects that enhance operational performance across the organization. This role sets project goals, defines milestones, identifies roadblocks, and drives the actions needed to eliminate them. Working closely with production, planning, maintenance, and logistics teams, this position leads both short‐ and long‐term improvement initiatives aimed at increasing capacity, reducing lead times, improving delivery performance, and elevating product quality.

This is an individual‐contributor role with high visibility, requiring strong analytical skills, hands‐on problem‐solving, and the ability to communicate progress to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, milestones, and success criteria.
• Identify roadblocks and independently drive solutions to remove them.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
• Plan, review, and collaborate with design teams on structural upgrades, line installations, and modifications.
• Serve as the voice of manufacturing during equipment or line upgrade projects.

Process Improvement & Analysis

• Analyze business functions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct advanced data collection and value‐stream mapping.
• Perform trend analysis and develop data‐driven recommendations.
• Research external methods, tools, and technologies to support new business solutions.
• Increase productivity, safety, and quality through targeted project deliverables.

Cross‐Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with department managers, quality specialists, engineering, and supply chain teams.
• Provide tools, insights, and support to operational teams to improve productivity.
• Partner with finance to produce accurate cost and productivity reporting.
• Organize, track, and report on team meetings and project progress.

Documentation & Reporting

• Develop clear communication methods for reporting project metrics.
• Ensure performance data is accurate, timely, and accessible across all levels of the organization.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including Gantt charts, dashboards, and presentations.
• Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on strategy, progress, and adjustments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Experience with SharePoint, report generation, and data analysis.
• Ability to write queries and macros; experience with Access databases.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and Visual Basic.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills.
• Self‐motivated, fast learner, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a Fit‐for‐Duty physical exam.
• Ability to wear required PPE (safety boots, glasses, hearing protection, gloves, dust mask, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs (heavier loads require assistance).
• Ability to stand, walk, crawl, climb stairs, bend, squat, kneel, and crouch regularly.
• Ability to work indoors regularly and outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions.
• Adequate vision for close work, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Title: Field Service Engineer (Metals), Northeast Responsible

Location: Londonderry, New Hampshire

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing service and support during field visits for customer's equipment. You will manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, diagnosing technical problems, and determining proper solutions in order to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction.

Your Mission

•Installation of equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to EOS specifications.

•Provide on-site technical/remote assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.

•Perform preventative maintenance procedures for customer's equipment within the scheduled time.

•Timely, accurate submission of all service documentation according to EOS procedures and guidelines.

•Cooperate in projects such as training, documentation, and exhibition installations.

•Work closely with 2nd Level Support to ensure local install base is maintained to company standards.

•Communicate and maintain service records and field service reports.

•Manage EOS service tools and spare parts inventory to ensure accurate inventory ofassigned company assets.

Your Talents

•Minimum 2-3 years of experience in servicing industrial equipment.

•Certified technician or skilled worker in electrical engineering technology.

•Experience in additive manufacturing data preparation using MAGICS and/or SolidWorks.

•Thorough product knowledge on industrial lasers and axis motion systems.

•Skilled in using written, oral, schematic and diagram engineering instructions.

•Possess computer knowledge (PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS- Office).

•Availability to work irregular shifts, including evenings and weekends.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be designing, building, and testing prototypes for many types of liquid cooling systems.

Mikros Technologies liquid cooling systems are deployed servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load.

What will you do?

• Ability to provide design and engineering drawing services as required to support our manufacturing processes and integration of our products into the end user’s equipment.
• Design and analysis of cooling systems such as cold plates, manifolds, and fluidic couplings.
• Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility and cost of designs or applications.
• Research, design, validate, and analyze machined parts and other components of structural and mechanical systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Compute and estimate loadings on structural members.
• Provide technical input to identify and mitigate project risks that may impact project plans and schedules
• CAD model development, and design data package development completing finite element analysis techniques for stress and structural dynamics using ProE CREO, SolidWorks or other CAD software
• Review CAD/Technical Data Packages to determine and validate mechanical design requirements for components and their functions within a system environment
• Evaluate/optimize manufacturing assembly processes by designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment, conferring with equipment vendors, and soliciting observations from the production team
• Adept at creating detailed mechanical design of components, sub-assemblies, and system integration
• Capable of creating a Bill of Materials (BOM) for release to manufacturing
• Conduct root cause investigation to troubleshoot complex mechanical design and material issues that arise through testing and engineering development
• Draft and contribute to test plans and specifications
• Perform tests, debug, and validation of mechanical systems and support manufacturing processes
• Manage relationships with mechanical component vendors and contract manufacturers
• Keep updated with the latest technologies and methods to ensure competitive and cost-effective designs
• Work with your manager to propose potential R&D project ideas to enhance competency areas
• Discuss with management and production staff to assess engineering feasibility and cost-effectiveness
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in engineering or higher is preferred

Experience: 

• 5 years of design engineering experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Thermal design and analysis
• Design for manufacturing and GD&T experience
• Mechanical (statics) and fluid analysis
• Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) experience
• Ability to design, build, and test prototypes. Test experience should
