POSITION SUMMARY
The General Assembler is responsible for assembling sheet metal parts, motors, blowers, and related sub-assemblies. This role installs assemblies into units, places insulation into metal panels, and installs motors and blowers into frames. The General Assembler may be required to perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble sheet metal components, mechanical sub-assemblies, motors, and blowers according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
- Install completed assemblies and sub-assemblies into units, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and function.
- Insert and secure insulation materials into metal panels following safety and quality standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to perform assembly operations accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, work orders, and production schedules to determine assembly requirements.
- Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet established standards and resolve basic assembly issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate any material shortages, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.

Middleware Engineer
Contract to hire

The candidate will be a team player in a technology organization responsible for Middleware Infrastructure environment. The organization consists of highly trained system engineers and administrators, whose responsibilities include sustaining, engineering and production support of our Middleware environments. At client, Middleware technologies include OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, Kafka, Apigee, IBM ESB, IBM MQ, Java, Tomcat, Apache, IIS etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Middleware products/environments including new installations, upgrades, maintenance and tuning, monitoring and capacity planning.
- Provide system/technical expertise while managing application deployments and troubleshooting application and platform issues.
- Participate in 24x7 rotational On-Call production Middleware Infrastructure administration support for business-critical applications.
- Design, build and manage OpenShift clusters across Development, test and production environments.
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins, Git or similar

- Regularly review security patches on all servers and install the latest security patches/service packs periodically.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Information Technology with equivalent experience.
- At least ten(10) years of experience of overall support of Middleware Technologies and Infrastructure.
- 5-7 + years’ experience in containerization and Orchestration (Kubernetes, docker Etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, namespaces, RBAC, networking)
- Assist in updating documented guidelines and procedures for the IT-Infrastructure unit and ensure that the documentation reflects any/all procedural changes.

- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.

- Leading Risk Management activities, including authoring risk management plans and reports, facilitating FMEA sessions, and ensuring risk assessments occur at appropriate project phases.
- Leading master validation planning sessions and reviewing/approving validation and qualification documentation.
- Reviewing and approving technical transfer plans and supporting design transfer activities to manufacturing
- Providing input to material specifications, drawings, inspection procedures, and manufacturing documentation to ensure manufacturability and testability.
- Overseeing metrology, incoming inspection, acceptance criteria, and disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Participating in supplier selection and component specification reviews, and acting as a technical quality liaison for supplier-related issues.
- Developing and validating quality test methods.
- Establishing and leading corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans and quality assurance strategies
- Reviewing quality history, supplier controls, scrap analysis, and process controls to drive defect prevention initiatives.
- Monitoring field quality performance, analyzing field returns, and determining root cause.
- Tracking quality trends, managing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement efforts
- Generating and maintaining quality documentation including quality plans, SOPs, and inspection procedures.
- Participating in Product Review Boards and leading investigations into internal and external complaints
- Applying structured problem-solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues
- Providing training and mentorship on quality system processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline required.
- 4–6 years of experience in Product Development or R&D within a regulated environment.
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in a medical device quality assurance environment.
- Strong working knowledge of engineering fundamentals and their application in product development and manufacturing.
- Auditor experience preferred (1–2 years).
- Demonstrated knowledge of 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and other applicable medical device regulations and standards.
- Experience with quality tools and statistical methodologies including FMEA, DOE, SPC, and Minitab.
- Experience supporting validation, design transfer, and risk-based change control processes.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and statistical capabilities.
- Excellent computer proficiency.

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer 3 Senior Manufacturing Engineer provides a key technical interface to a critical contract manufacturing relationship. The contract manufacturer provides a system consisting of electromechanical capital equipment as well as high-volume sterile disposables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute validation plans, including IQ of process equipment and OQ and or PQ of manufacturing processes.
- Lead manufacturing implementation of sustaining design initiatives.
- Detect, conceptualize, and execute improvement opportunities using a series of Lean and related tools and methodologies.
- Distill complex technical situations into meaningful summaries that are digestible by various stakeholders.
- Lead troubleshooting exercises to quickly get to solutions.
- Create and revise essential documents such as process flowcharts, PFMEA, and Process Control plans.
- Practice LEAN techniques and be able to facilitate lean kaizens.
- Interface with contract manufacturing staff and management to ensure that plans are followed and risks are mitigated.
- Work effectively with other functions such as research and development, Procurement, Design Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Field Service in completion of duties and communication of relevant information.
- Interface with suppliers and Quality Engineering to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Monitor quality reports and field performance of assigned product line, identify trends, investigate problems and implement corrective actions.
- Actively supports and adheres to the Quality Policy and Quality System procedures.

Qualification & Experience:
- Medical device industry experience
- Extensive validation experience, including employment of sound statistical approach and authorship of solid protocols and or reports.
- Advanced inter-personal skills, communication and emotional awareness is key to be successful in this role.
- Quick learner, driven and not afraid to experiment.
- Ability to manage projects and lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles required 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, SMED, GEMBA mindset, KPI development and management.
- Good understanding of product lifecycle management PLM applications such as AGILE and ERP systems such as ORACLE, SAP or BAAN. ORACLE is preferred.
- Experience with LABVIEW highly preferred.
- Experience with computer-aided design software required, Solid works preferred.
- B.S. Engineering preferably in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 7or more years’ experience in Manufacturing and or Manufacturing Engineering with working knowledge of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
