Essential Functions
- Design manufacturing processes that meet product requirements and prioritize operator safety

The Section Chief of Interventional Cardiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Medical Director provides clinical leadership for all interventional cardiology services, and will work with their dyad partner to provide operational and strategic direction for these services. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe, evidence-based care, optimizes procedural outcomes, oversees cath lab efficiency, and supports program growth, innovation, and regulatory compliance.
The Section Chief will partner closely with hospital leadership to integrate interventional cardiology, structural heart, electrophysiology, vascular services, surgery, anesthesia, nursing, and operations, while advancing the institution’s cardiovascular service line.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Quality & Patient Safety
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based interventional cardiology guidelines.
• Lead initiatives to improve procedural outcomes, patient safety, and complication reduction.
• Oversee case review, morbidity and mortality conferences, and peer review.
• Serve as the clinical authority for interventional cardiology standards and best practices.
Cath Lab Operations & Throughput

These are to be high-quality, engaging, and relevant training programs, modules, and materials (e.g., presentations, handbooks, e-learning modules, job aids) in which you are using subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance of training content.
- Coaching: Provide 1-on-1 performance coaching to those that are chosen to be developed for the next opportunity within the company. From an entry level employee moving to a lead position to a mid-level managers to help them transition into senior roles.
2. Succession Planning & Talent Pipeline
