Job Description:
The Event Sales Manager role is a competitive position that requires excellent presentation and phone skills, as well as an outgoing personality. The candidate should be able to work independently and be self-motivated. This position is full-time and requires high energy, as it is fast-paced and team-oriented.
Deliverables and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is an individual seeking an established career with great income potential and can thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- The candidate will work in the Fort Lauderdale office (local candidates only) and on-site at seminar locations throughout the country for specific day (following predetermined schedule)
- When traveling to a seminar, the employee will assist in running the event. This includes taking sign-ins, setting up the room, distributing training materials, upselling, and more. These events present a great opportunity to encourage clients to sign up for additional training. If the employee works on a weekend, they will have subsequent days off upon their return from the event.
- The job entails managing travel teams, conversing with our physician clients over the phone, discussing our training programs, upselling our courses and memberships, providing information on costs, certification methods, training locations, and more. The employee will handle both incoming and outgoing calls.
- The employee will use specific sales tools to manage the database and sales leads. They must also be meticulous in carrying out additional administrative tasks, such as recording medicine inventory, handling inbound and outbound calls and reporting, managing expenses, reporting vehicle mileage, and other related duties as required by Empire Medical Training.
- This position requires travel 1-2 weekends per month, at times working consecutive days but will be given days off following. Events typically take place on weekends from Friday to Sunday or Monday. The candidate would be traveling to seminar locations Thursday through Monday, 1-2 times per month, to host our events on-site. Time flux weekend/weekday work.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Skills)
- The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in sales and event management. Experience in a Trade Show setting or Event Management is a plus.
- Ability to travel (New York, Texas, Las Vegas, Orlando etc.)
- Able to lift 50-60 lbs
- Able to effectively work individually and as a team
- Able to take initiative and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
- Positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changes
- High level of Professionalism and Integrity is a must
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly desired

We are seeking a hands-on, creator-first Luxury Content & Social Media Coordinator to support our Marketing Manager and elevate our luxury brand’s digital presence. This is an in-person, 3-month contract role with strong potential for permanent hire.
This position is ideal for a content creator who shoots, edits, and publishes their own work-not someone who only manages freelancers or agencies.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Social Media
- Create, shoot, edit, and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and X.
- Develop and manage a social media content calendar aligned with luxury brand standards and campaign priorities.

- Hands-on videography is required.
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content.
- Capture lifestyle, product, behind-the-scenes, and campaign-driven visuals.
- Support creative planning, shot lists, and execution for digital campaigns.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (luxury, fashion, or jewelry preferred).
- Proven hands-on content creation experience-must personally shoot and edit content.
- Portfolio or verifiable proof of work required (social channels, campaigns, reels, website, etc.).

Desired Qualifications:
Secondary to the above evaluation, these factors will impact our hiring decisions, but are not requirements:
- Industry Experience – prior commercial P&C industry experience
- Technological Experience – Cothrom uses technology to its fullest extent possible, comfort using Applied Systems, electronic signature systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc.
- Insurance License – a 2-20 General Lines license will be required within 180 days of hire date
- Communication Skills – professionalism in oral and written communication
- Continuing Education – acquisition or pursuit of industry designations such as the CPCU
Physical & Mental Requirements:
Ability to complete each of these tasks 7-8 hrs per day, unless otherwise noted:
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs rarely, less than 5 minutes a day
- Sit at a desk continuously
- Upper body range of motion and dexterity sufficient for constant use of a keyboard, mouse, phone and other office equipment
- Typing speed in excess of 35 wpm
- Vision sufficient for constant use of computer
- Hearing sufficient for daily in-person, video and telephone communication, 3-5 hours a day
- Able to concentrate on moderate detail with constant interruption
- Able to attend task/function for 45 min – 1 hour at a time, frequently 4-6 hours a day
- Able to remember multiple tasks/assignments given to self and others during the course of the day
- Able to remember multiple tasks/assignments given to self and others over long periods of time
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written word at standard high school level vocabulary
