The HVAC CQV Lead is responsible for supporting the planning, preparation and leading a field execution team of C&Q specialists with the CQ activities related to HVAC for meeting the agreed objectives regarding budget, schedule and C&Q methodology according to the Project Commissioning and Qualification Plan, and ensuring URS, GMP, Safety and environmental objectives are met.

A specialized engineering and construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex biotech, pharmaceutical, and cleanroom construction projects across North America.

This organization delivers high-containment, GMP and controlled environment facilities, utilizing off-site prefabrication, modular construction, BIM, digital scanning, and field automation. Projects support highly regulated life sciences and advanced technology environments where precision, quality, and compliance are critical.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for the execution and financial performance of assigned projects. You'll lead teams through all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring experience in GMP-controlled environments and cleanroom construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction delivery of biotech, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, and GMP facilities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and financial performance
  • Coordinate procurement, expediting, and logistics for specialized cleanroom systems
  • Oversee installation of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process components
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and quality standards, including inspections and documentation
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to contamination control, sequencing, and validation readiness

Day-to-Day
