• Lead and govern design-related CAPA activities across the R&D organization, ensuring timely, compliant, and effective resolution of complex design, verification, validation, and product performance issues.

• Ensure CAPA records and documentation are complete, accurate, and audit-ready, in compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and internal quality system requirements.
  
• Manage and develop the R&D CAPA team, including setting expectations, prioritizing
  
• workload, providing technical direction, and coaching CAPA specialists and engineers.
  
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to R&D engineers and CAPA owners on CAPA processes, best practices, timeline development, SOP adherence, and effectiveness verification planning.
  
• Serve as the primary R&D CAPA interface with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and other cross-functional partners to address systemic and cross-product issues.
  
• Review and approve CAPA plans, timelines, effectiveness verification strategies, and closure rationales to ensure regulatory robustness and high-quality outcomes.
  
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments by providing CAPA documentation (e.g., CAPA storyboards), investigation rationale, and subject matter expertise.
  
• Act as a CAPA subject matter expert within the R&D organization, driving continuous improvement in CAPA execution quality and consistency.
  

Minimum Requirements

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  
• 6+ years of experience in R&D within a medical device organization with at least 5 years of CAPA processes and regulatory compliance requirements (FDA, ISO 13485).
  
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
  
• Proven experience in managing CAPA for design and development activities

A client of Insight Global in the retail/technology industry is seeking Project Managers to assist with an initiative to update, upgrade & improve their facilities across the country. This will include general building updates as well as the upgrading of manual systems in warehouses & delivery centers, to automated systems. The goal is to improve operational efficiency within the locations make processes faster, safer and more efficient. We are looking for hands on project managers with relevant backgrounds to engineering, facilities, warehouse and maintenance related work who aren't afraid to get super involved and can direct and oversee the work being done to ensure timely and accurate completion. This person will be in the field 80-100% of the time, executing on projects and will often be working odd hours or an occasional weekend to complete the work. Travel will primarily be regionally based, but could involve travel outside of the assigned region. Projects will focus on general building upgrades and increase in complexity as trust is earned. All travel time is paid and expenses are reimbursed but will be fronted on a personal credit card. A credit card limit of $6,000 or higher is required to appropriately support the travel, but expenses can be submitted weekly for reimbursement. We are seeking individuals within 30 minutes of a major airport in OH, IN, MI & KS.

Summary

The Structural Designer will support our production teams by developing precise drawings, layouts, and 3D models for custom products and packaging. This role plays a key part in turning concepts, measurements, and customer requests into designs, prototypes, and real solutions used on the production floor.

Key Activities

• Create and update 2D/3D CAD drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Translate ideas, measurements, and customer requirements into accurate, sustainable designs.
• Assist with prototypes, project cost estimates, and test builds for new products.
• Work with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and optimized for manufacturing.
• Maintain drawing files, revision histories, and documentation.
• Support R&D, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with sales, operations, and quality as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Strong aptitude for numbers and precise measurements.
• Prior packaging or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Educations & Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in packaging or structural design within a manufacturing, corrugated, consumer goods, or packaging industry.
• Experience designing corrugated packaging, folding cartons, displays, or protective packaging.

As a Senior Project Engineer at Doka USA, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of formwork projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of formwork projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements, constraints, and risks.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against key milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to procure materials, equipment, and resources required for project execution.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, resolving complex engineering challenges and ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to assess workmanship, safety practices, and adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Manage client communications, addressing inquiries, concerns, and change requests in a proactive and professional manner.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required with the ability to stamp within the state of Texas.
• Proven experience in project engineering and management within the construction industry, with a focus on formwork-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methodologies, and building codes.
• Proficiency in project management software, CAD software, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address technical challenges and optimize project performance.
• Identify and select appropriate formwork and shoring materials based on project requirements, budget constraints, and site conditions.
• Ensure that formwork and shoring systems comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
