Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Professional Officers in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, Information Professional Officers may serve anywhere in the world, whether on a ship at sea or at bases and installations on shore.

Assignment Overview
- Location: Lumberton, North Carolina
- Contract Type: CRNA Locum Tenens
- Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
- Assignment Length: 3–6 months with option to extend
- Practice Model: Anesthesia Care Team
Schedule Structure
- Monday – Friday coverage
- Flexible shift options available:
- 8-hour shifts
- 10-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- Call rotation required
- Weekend and overnight call coverage may be included.
- Call Schedule: 1:8 rotation
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based anesthesia department
- Collaborative CRNA and anesthesiologist care team model
- CRNAs rotate between operating room coverage and obstetric anesthesia services.
Clinical Case Mix
- Providers support a well-rounded surgical program including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery
- Endoscopy
- Bread-and-butter surgical procedures
- CRNAs will participate in OB coverage and in-house OB call responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified
- Active North Carolina License (or ability to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS required
- OB anesthesia experience required
- Ability to work within a team-based anesthesia care model
