- 2 - 5+ years in Safety related staff and management positions.
- Power distribution overhead and civil underground experience preferred.
- Experience working on an Exelon property is a plus.
- CUSP certificate with Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Certifications such as ASP, CSP, CUSA, OSHA 510, OSHA 500 etc.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Superintendent located in Chesterton, IN, some travel required. The Construction Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction site management, including scheduling, safety compliance, and on-site supervision of workers, subcontractors, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, ensuring high-quality construction standards, monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and maintaining safety protocols. The role also requires coordination with the project management team, documentation of work, and effective communication with clients and local authorities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Site Management and adherence to Construction Safety protocols
- Strong Organization Skills and effective time management abilities
- Experience in Budgeting and financial oversight of construction projects
- Proven skills including scheduling and resource planning
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Prior experience in multi-family, residential, or commercial construction is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
