The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Vehicle Management System (VMS) Senior Manager to support a proprietary Air Dominance portfolio program located in Berkeley, MO.
The VMS senior manager leads a multi-disciplined team to define, procure, develop, integrate and test an air vehicle VMS. The VMS team is responsible for requirements definition, verification, and validation; hardware selection and integration; VMS software development; and integrated testing in the laboratory and on the final product. The manager will also coordinate with mission systems software, central maintenance software, GN&C, and subsystems managers on program to ensure the integrated VMS product meets requirements. The VMS Leader will also ensure alignment with other portfolio programs on hardware strategies and standards as appropriate. Position Responsibilities:
- Manage employees and managers performing engineering and technical activities in vehicle management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

- 15+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- 8+ years of experience in an engineering discipline related to Vehicle Management Systems.

The Commercialization Manager is the quarterback of go-to-market and commercialization efforts across all products. RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercialization Leadership
• Serve as the central point of coordination for all commercialization efforts across the product portfolio.

• Maintain a portfolio-level view of upcoming launches, enhancements, and market-facing changes.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
• Ensure the right teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Legal, CS, Training, etc.) are aligned, resourced, and executing according to plan.
• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, launch readiness reviews, and go/no-go decisions.
• Anticipate and remove blockers related to resourcing, prioritization, or communication gaps.
Product Manager Support
• Partner closely with Product Managers to support commercialization tasks like:
- Pricing and packaging updates
- Sales enablement needs
- Enabling professional services
- Provide templates, playbooks, and coaching to help PMs deliver consistent commercialization artifacts and outputs.
Launch Execution & Readiness
• Ensure all required materials and processes are in place for successful launch (e.g., sales enablement content, training modules, support documentation, release communications).
• Track progress against key commercialization milestones and proactively escalate risks.
• Own internal communication of what is launching, when, and why it matters.
Operational Excellence
• Continuously improve commercialization processes and rituals—intake, scoping, planning, and go-to-market workflows.
• Standardize tools, templates, and KPIs used across product lines.
• Identify opportunities to increase speed, reduce friction, and strengthen cross-team visibility.
Market & Business Alignment
• Ensure commercialization plans align with company strategy, revenue targets, market needs, and partner commitments.

The Role We Want You For
As the Project Engineer (Mechanical Procurement), you will support the CDC team in developing competitive HVAC/mechanical estimates and procurement plans, sourcing equipment and materials, and building relationships with manufacturers, reps, and subcontract partners. You will work closely with Clayco project teams, design partners, and the technical group to confirm specified systems meet performance requirements, project standards, and budget. You will help identify lead-time risks early and contribute to winning work through accurate takeoffs, pricing, and value options.
The Specifics of the Role
- Perform mechanical/HVAC takeoffs and quantity surveys (major HVAC equipment and other mechanical equipment and systems) and develop detailed procurement estimates.
- Solicit, level, and validate supplier/manufacturer quotes; confirm scope, inclusions/exclusions, alternates, and delivery assumptions.
- Support intercompany sales efforts by engaging OEMs, reps, and distributors, maintaining pricing intelligence, and helping identify new procurement opportunities.
- Evaluate bills of material for completeness and accuracy; flag gaps, long-lead items, and coordination concerns (power, controls, structural, seismic, space/clearances).
- Assist with contract review from a procurement perspective (commercial terms, freight, taxes, escalation, liquidated damages, warranty, service/startup).
- Gather and prepare submittal packages (equipment schedules, cut sheets, performance data, controls narratives) and track reviews/returns to keep the buyout schedule on track.
- Create purchase requisitions / product lists and support purchase order and change order preparation with clear scope and quantities.
- Track orders and logistics (lead times, releases, fabrication, shipping, storage); coordinate with the project team on site constraints and delivery windows.
- Maintain procurement documentation (quote logs, bid tabs, vendor correspondence) and support closeout deliverables as assigned (warranties, O&M manuals, spare parts).
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and HVAC systems/equipment; able to read plans/specs and speak the language of engineers, contractors, and OEMs.
- 5+ years of procurement experience preferred; or equivalent combination of mechanical/HVAC field, estimating, or project support experience with demonstrated procurement capability.
- Experience with estimating/takeoffs, bid leveling, and vendor communication; detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Working knowledge of construction fundamentals, coordination practices, and project documentation (submittals, RFIs, change orders).
- Comfortable negotiating with suppliers and understanding commercial terms; proficient with Excel and procurement/PM tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the analysis, negotiation, and approval of insurance provisions within prime contracts to ensure alignment with corporate risk management standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders and executives on complex insurance and risk management matters.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party service providers to optimize coverage, service quality, and cost efficiency.

Position Overview:
The Test Scoring/Reader position involves hand-scoring tests that contain constructed responses, such as essays, math problems requiring shown work, or written answers. These responses must be scored by a live person because they cannot be evaluated mechanically.
Tests may be completed online. For online tests, scorers log into the system to review and score responses.
Scoring is based on criteria established by each State Department of Education. You will be trained in these standards and scoring methods. The first one to two days of each project are dedicated to training. At the end of training, you must pass a qualifying test to demonstrate your ability to score accurately.
Test Scorers/Readers work in a classroom-style environment led by a Scoring Director who conducts training and overseas operations.
You must be able to work the full schedule each week, as exceptions cannot be made for other commitments. The company offers a casual work environment and pleasant atmosphere.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Structural Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: 1.
Leading the design and analysis of structural systems for various construction projects, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.

Utilizing RISA 3D software for structural modeling and analysis.
3.
Collaborating with architects, designers, and other engineering professionals to develop integrated solutions.
4.
Reviewing and approving project drawings and reports.
5.
Supervising and mentoring junior engineers, providing them with guidance and feedback.
6.
Conducting site inspections to ensure the structures are built according to the design and complying with the safety regulations.
7.
Managing project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met within the agreed timeframe.
8.
Continually staying updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
9.
Participating in client meetings, providing expert advice and recommendations on structural matters.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications: 1.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in the construction industry.
3.
Proficiency in using RISA 3D or equivalent structural engineering software.
4.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required & Licensure as a Structural Engineer (SE) 5.
Excellent understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
6.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
7.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9.
Ability to work in a hybrid model, balancing between remote and in-office work.
10.
Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
