Job SummaryThe Capital Projects Coordinator is considered a journey level classification and performs engineering, architecture, construction management and/or project management responsibilities. This professional level position plans, budgets, and schedules all aspects of the parks, facilities, utilities and transportation capital improvements, as well as other City Funded/sponsored projects of basic to mid-level complexity. The position administers consultant contracts; coordinates design reviews, environmental reviews, coordinates property and permit acquisitions; coordinates building and contract awards; monitors construction contract progress and ensures proper project closeouts.
Distinguishing Characteristics: This class is distinguished from the senior-level of the series in that assigned projects are performed under the direction, and with the assistance of, a Senior Capital Project Coordinator or Senior Project Engineer.

- Negotiates contracts for design and construction of projects.

- Assists in the development of citizen participation plans to inform and explain project objectives and answer questions from the public, media and other agencies.

- Prepares cost and scheduling analysis reports for multiple projects and acts as technical resource to superiors on project schedule and budget.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning or related field.
- Experience: 4 years project or construction management or related experience.
- Or: In place of the above requirements, the incumbent may possess any combination of relevant education and experience which would demonstrate the individual's knowledge, skill, and ability to proficiently perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver's license and ability to remain insurable under the City's insurance to operate motor vehicles.
- Additional license(s) and/or certifications such as CA, EIT, LA, AIA, AICP, LEED, PMP, CCM, CCMA are desired.

Primarily office work, but the position also involves visiting construction sites under varying weather conditions. Potential hazards at construction sites include vehicular traffic, construction equipment, and uneven terrain.

Key job responsibilities
* Hire, develop and supervise leads and a large group of highly skilled technicians focused on Kuiper satellite production. Includes annual reviews, career development and managing corrective and disciplinary actions.

A day in the life
The Production Supervisor will work closely with cross-functional engineering, test, enterprise, quality and operations teams on production hardware integration processes and systems. This is a critical role leading the technician team on the production floor.
This position requires a high degree of skill in many areas, including technical leadership, technician development, mechanical assembly, avionics integration, troubleshooting, electrical checkouts and environmental testing. Job Summary:The Production Supervisor II leads and directs a team of employees in an assigned area of operations such as Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Test. Principal Accountabilities:
- Inspect buildings and structures to ensure compliance with laws, codes, and regulations relating to building construction, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, state energy code requirements, local zoning requirements, and job site erosion control.
- Investigate compliance complaints and, if necessary, mediate a resolution.

- Conducts site inspections of new and old commercial and residential buildings and structures to ensure compliance with approved plans and codes, notes violations. Approved plans will be reviewed, are posted on the construction site, and are reviewed by the inspector to see that they are properly implemented. Reinspects to ensure all noted violations have been corrected. The incumbent has the authority to stop work on a construction site if code violations are not corrected and makes the final approval of a structure prior to occupancy.
- Plans and schedules routes in order to ensure the most efficient use of time.
- Answers questions and provides technical advice related to building and structure code compliance.
- Investigates and responds to complaints regarding code compliance; informs individual making the complaint if a violation occurred and, if so, what corrective action has been taken.
- Logs daily inspections and prepares inspection reports.
- Reads special inspection reports for compliance and files reports.
- Inspects sites for grading and soil excavation or other land modifications. Makes a visual survey of the construction site to determine if a licensed survey is to be required for setback verification.
- Responds to public and contractor inquiries concerning interpretation of the National Electrical and related codes, construction problems, and City administrative procedures. This requires clear, concise, oral and written communication skills.
- Monitors construction to see that it is completed before occupancy of the building, the permit expires, or sees that the permit is renewed in a timely fashion.
- Maintains adequate records to assure proper documentation of inspections.
- Inspects nonstructural problems with building sites, such as surface water problems and inadequate access, and assures that they are corrected or referred to the appropriate City department.
- Position requires daily use of computer. Incumbent must have, or be able to learn, basic keyboard and computer skills.
- Performs daily inspections of vehicles to include checking tires and lights and determining if service is necessary.

- Attends staff meetings to discuss Building Department and City issues and to discuss changes in policy and codes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of local, state, and regional/international building codes.
- Considerable knowledge of the standards and practices of building construction, mechanical systems, plumbing systems.
- Maintains knowledge of the various changes in local, state, and regional/international building codes which are of technological changes in building materials and changing architectural philosophies. This will require attendance at college-level courses and/or trade seminars as they become available, provided they are necessary to achieve objectives.

- Must have or be able to learn basic keyboard and computer skills.
- Skill in reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 3 years of construction or inspection experience.
- Or: In place of the above requirements, the incumbent may possess any combination of relevant education and experience which would demonstrate the individual's knowledge, skill, and ability to proficiently perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver's license and ability to remain insurable under the City's insurance to operate motor vehicles.
- Possess and maintain ICC Residential Building Inspector (B1) certification within 1 year.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.

The position is driving to or being at construction sites a majority of the time. Potential hazards at construction sites might include falling objects, loose footing, and construction equipment. The position may be required to climb ladders, occasionally walk on scaffolding, crawl in crawl spaces, and be exposed to inclement weather and adverse conditions. The incumbent is expected to perform as an emergency worker in the event of a disaster.
Positions in this class typically involve indoor and outdoor work in extreme variable temperature and atmospheric conditions. Duties may require extended periods of talking or listening, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, feeling, and seeing. Incumbents may be subjected to being around moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, odors, gasses, poor ventilation, inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, intense noises, and travel.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design new and revise existing tools and fixtures for assembly, test, and inspection
- Create test protocols for qualifying new products and assemblies
- Develop and document IQ, OQ, PQ and maintenance protocols for new equipment and fixtures
- Develop and implement automation/semi-automation equipment and fixtures

POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting and advancing construction projects throughout all phases of planning, design, bidding, construction and closeout. This position exercises independent judgment, analytical thinking and proactive problem solving to ensure projects remain aligned with scope, schedule and budget objectives.
The Associate Project Manager partners closely with Project Managers and Project Administrator while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, demonstrating initiative, strong organizational capacity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning & Design Support
· Coordinate preparation of internal project documentation in support of Construction Management and Project Management teams.
· Assist in defining scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
· Support the design and permitting process, including drawing review, permit application preparation, and value engineering.
· Apply construction divisions and category codes to budgets and bid packages as applicable.
Bidding, Documentation & Project Controls
· Prepare bid comparisons, accurately summarizing project scope and comparative costs to past projects.
· Oversee organization and tracking of project components, including submittals, RFIs, bid packages, project schedules, and change orders.
· Partner with the Project Administrator to review and process required paperwork and documentation from contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, including contracts, certificates of insurance, proposals, and lien releases.
Financial Administration, Closeout & Compliance
· Partner with the Project Administrator to process invoices and payment applications for review and approval.
· Monitor billing accuracy, contract reconciliation, and compliance with lien waiver requirements.
· Support and help facilitate the project closeout process, ensuring projects are closed out in a timely and comprehensive manner.
· Support the needs and requirements of the Company and adhere to established project management methods, procedures, and quality objectives.

Job Description: VDC Specialist
The BIM/VDC Support Specialist supports project teams by assisting with the creation, organization, and maintenance of drawing and model deliverables using BIM tools. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in design, drafting, or engineering who is eager to learn how 3D models and 2D drawings support fabrication, installation, and construction workflows.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Produce 2D drawings from 3D models using Revit
• Set up sheets, views, and schedules in Revit
• Create or Modify 3D content using Revit
• Support multiple project teams in preparing drawings for fabrication, layout, and installation
• Generate bills of materials and fabrication spool packages from models
• Perform basic quality checks on drawings and fabrication packages before release
• Support project documentation control, including file organization and revision tracking
