Position Overview:This is a hands-on technical leadership and program management role responsible for delivering detailed thermal and airflow analyses across Boeing commercial and military derivative airplane programs.

Plan and manage the team Statement of Work (SOW): prioritize requests, track progress to plan, and balance capacity across concurrent commercial and military derivative programs. Deliver technical results: ensure CFD and thermal analysis artifacts (models, scripts, reports, and presentations) meet accuracy, traceability, and documentation standards. Represent ECS in program reviews, supplier meetings, and customer discussions: prepare and present technical briefings, decision materials, and status updates to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Coordinate multidisciplinary execution: interface with systems, structures, interiors, electrical, and manufacturing teams to align analyses with program needs and certification requirements. Advocate for safety and quality: identify and communicate risks, propose mitigation plans, and ensure outputs support certification and operational safety cases. Resource, budget, and computing stewardship: lead staffing plans, forecast resourcing, and manage budget; coordinate with IT for HPC access, licenses, and data storage required to complete the SOW. Drive technical strategy: partner with the technical fellowship to evaluate and implement future tools, automation, and capability improvements (e.g., mesh automation, workflow orchestration, surrogate modeling). Basic/Required Qualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry5+ years of relevant engineering experience, including thermal and/or CFD work. 3+ years of experience leading or supervising engineering teams. Strong background in fluid dynamics and heat transfer analysis. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver against schedule, cost, and performance goals. Seeking an Experienced Product Lifecycle Process Engineer to support the installation and validation of loadable software on aircraft and in lab or production environments. This role collaborates with Design Engineers and Production Engineers to ensure procedures meet hardware/software requirements and safety standards, and to deliver clear, repeatable loading procedures, robust troubleshooting, and up-to-date user guides. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on Airplane Systems experience, strong technical writing skills, and a commitment to operational reliability .
Primary Responsibilities:
Install loadable software on aircraft platforms and bench test environments in accordance with approved procedures.
Develop clear, step-by-step loading procedures and instructions for both on-aircraft and bench scenarios.
Collaborate closely with Design Engineers for each system to ensure loading procedures align with hardware/software requirements and safety standards.
Validate and verify loading procedures through testing, design reviews, and field trials; capture results and implement improvements.
Maintain and update user guides, procedure documents, and training materials as software and hardware evolve.

Job Summary
Seasonal Parks Laborers perform general labor tasks as assigned to contribute to the development and maintenance of City public grounds and moorage facility.
Each Laborer works as part of a team to conduct routine maintenance and park development which includes cleaning restrooms, picnic shelters, and other City facilities as well as opening and closing parks daily, addressing customer concerns as they arise, collecting garbage, and picking up litter. Job Summary
Entry level engineer/project construction administration providing support to the Capital Improvements Project Team. Assists experienced engineers/coordinators in developing project criteria, studies, plans, specifications, providing calculations, tracking budgets, reviewing construction documentation, and communication related to City Capital Projects.
Principal Accountabilities
Entry level non-supervisory engineer/construction administration. Reports to the Capital Projects Supervisor for coordinated work with experienced engineers and coordinators. Accountable for the follow tasks:
- Assists in various phases of City Capital Improvement Project work including contract administration, project management documentation, public outreach and accounting.
- Supports dissemination of project information to other City Groups and Divisions.
- Aids in the recording of construction records documentation.
Essential Functions
- Supports dissemination of project information by preparation of exhibits.
- Helps gather stakeholder requirements for technical specifications to promote quality assurance.
- Performs field reconnaissance when/as required.
- Assists staff in the review of construction documents including plans, specification and construction management documents through all stages of Public Works projects.
- Works with experienced engineers/coordinators and other staff to coordinate and document field changes.
- Maintains knowledge of current construction codes and changes in industry standards related to construction material and procedure developments.
- Aids in the preparation of project status reports for proper coordination and scheduling of projects.
- Assists with final acceptance report upon project completion.
Peripheral Duties
- Coordinates field activities of City projects with private and public utilities within Kirkland.
- Works with Maintenance and Operations on engineering issues.
- Reviews traffic control plans with the Traffic Engineer.
- Responds to public inquiries or complaints relating to construction activities, standards, administrative procedures, and requested improvements.
- Provides public counter and back-up telephone coverage. Provides information regarding the policy of the City in response to inquiries.
- Assists in maintaining and updating Kirkland Pre-Approved Plans for the Public Works Department.
- Conducts field inspection on an as needed basis to assist inspection staff when workload or absences dictate.
- Maintaining the CIP Group's Lessons Learned file.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
In the event of a civic or civil emergency, position will provide assistance as determined by the City's emergency operations program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with staff, the public and general contractors in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Must have proficient research and documentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; or a combination of education and/or training and/or experience which provides an equivalent background that may be substituted as equivalent.
- Proficient in use of all office equipment including personal computers and related software applications.
- Valid Washington State driver's license.

Working Conditions
Primarily office work, but duties will require some field work both in street rights-of-way and on construction sites under varying weather conditions.
