The General Manager (GM) –Battery Testing is responsible for the full P&L, operational leadership, commercial growth, and regulatory compliance of a mobility-focused TIC laboratory. The lab supports automotive, EV, aerospace, rail, and advanced mobility customers with testing, inspection, and certification services.

The GM ensures technical excellence, regulatory compliance (ISO/IEC 17025 and applicable mobility standards), strong client relationships, and profitable growth while maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. P&L & Business Leadership

• Own full profit and loss responsibility for the mobility laboratory.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and growth strategies.
• Drive revenue growth across automotive, EV, aerospace, rail, and next-gen mobility sectors.
• Monitor KPIs including revenue, margin, utilization, backlog, and cash flow.
• Optimize cost structure while maintaining service quality and accreditation compliance.

2. Commercial & Customer Strategy

• Partner with Sales and Business Development to grow key accounts and strategic OEM relationships.
• Identify new service opportunities (battery testing, EMC, environmental, durability, ADAS validation, etc.).
• Strengthen relationships with mobility OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Represent the lab in industry forums and with regulatory bodies.

3. Operations & Technical Oversight

• Oversee daily laboratory operations including testing, scheduling, capacity planning, and equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with International Organization for Standardization ISO/IEC 17025 and other applicable standards (SAE, IEC, UL, FMVSS, etc.).
• Maintain accreditations through bodies such as ANAB or equivalent.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, automation).
• Ensure capital investment planning aligns with market demand and ROI targets.

4. Quality & Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain rigorous adherence to safety and quality systems.
• Lead internal and external audits.
• Manage risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure testing integrity and data reliability for certification purposes.

5. People Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineering, technicians, quality, and commercial staff.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing technical talent.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and customer focus.
• Develop succession planning and leadership bench strength.

6. Strategic Growth & Innovation

• Evaluate new testing technologies (EV battery abuse testing, hydrogen systems, autonomous systems validation).
• Expand lab capabilities in alignment with electrification and advanced mobility trends.
• Support digital transformation initiatives (LIMS, automation, data analytics).

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related field required)
• MBA preferred

Experience

• 10+ years in TIC, automotive testing, aerospace testing, or related technical services
• 5+ years in senior leadership or GM-level responsibility
• Demonstrated P&L management experience
• Strong knowledge of mobility regulatory frameworks and certification pathways

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with approximately 10 years of experience to join our Land Development team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in site design for university and higher education campuses. The successful candidate will lead and support civil engineering projects from concept through construction, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Primary Functions

• Lead the planning, design, and permitting of land development projects, with a focus on university and institutional campuses.
• Prepare site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion control plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams (survey, environmental, structural, architectural) and external stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and public hearings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Desired Skills

Required:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Michigan or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Approximately 10 years of civil/site design experience.
• Demonstrated experience with university or institutional campus projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with stormwater modeling software (e.g., HydroCAD, SWMM).
• Familiarity with LEED or sustainable site design practices.
• Knowledge of permitting processes in Michigan.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

As Service Manager, you'll be the operations lead for your store's Service Centerand you'll be the one who's ultimately accountable for all decisions relating to workflow, staffing of mechanics, and KPIs to ensure every customer has the best experience.

You'll be the primary service advisor at the shop, integrating the sales and service experience, while holding your team accountable for delivering Trek's signature hospitality. That means you'll need to be a great communicator and leader who knows how to get the best out of your colleagues.

You'll train your team, engage with customers to recommend the right service at the right time, manage and control service costs, keep service orders organized, ensure a clean and efficient department and take an active lead in ensuring the right bikes are built and delivered to the sales floor and your customers. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will manage all communication from the Service Department to customers and write more than 50% of the work orders for the shop.

This role is right for someone with high energy and a constant learning engine who can see the forest and the trees. You'll be challenged to develop your employees, find efficiencies by reviewing service reports, and anticipate your shop's needs so both the service and sales teams are set up for success.

Job Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The Business Objects Security Programmer Analyst is responsible for administering user security, maintaining Business Objects environments, supporting reporting operations, and providing technical automation and data processing support for MIDB(Oracle Database), CMOD, and related systems. The role combines security administration, BO universe maintenance, SQL/batch scripting, DevOps support, HR load validation, and PowerPlatform solution maintenance. Secondary duties include backup support for .NET development and PowerPlatform applications.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

Security Administration (BO, MIDB(Oracle), CMOD)

• Process security requests including new access, changes, and deletions.
• Monitor and manage security-related mailboxes (MIDB Security, MIDB BO, MIDB Training).
• Process, track, archive, and audit all security forms.
• Maintain and enhance security form automation for users, supervisors, and ASAs.

Business Objects (BO) Support and Reporting Operations

• Provide primary customer support for Business Objects report issues and general user assistance.
• Maintain and update IDT universes, including structure changes, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Perform BO health checks and produce BO Health Reports.
• Conduct report inventory cleanup, including HR reporting cleanup and all-folder cleanup activities.

Data Operations and DevOps

• Validate, confirm, and balance HR data loads and associated reporting.
• Support DevOps activities related to deployment, version control, configuration, and process automation.
• Develop and maintain SQL and batch scripts used for data movement, auditing, and operational tasks.

Documentation, Tracking, and Operational Processes

• Document system procedures, processes, and policies.
• Maintain and track tasks on the Master Calendar (annual, quarterly, and monthly activities).

PowerPlatform Development and Maintenance

• Maintain and enhance PowerPlatform solutions including MIDB(Oracle) Apps, Power BI dashboards, Forms, and Power Automate workflows.
• Support automation efforts that increase efficiency, routing, and data integration.

• Provide .NET development backup support for miscellaneous projects (including HEIDI).
• Provide backup support for PowerPlatform applications and workflows as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of Business Objects security, universe design, and report deployment.
• Strong SQL and batch scripting skills.
• Ability to perform access management, security audits, and form processing.

• Experience maintaining Microsoft PowerPlatform solutions (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Ability to document processes clearly and accurately.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer support skills.
