As a Lead Test Pilot you will have a senior leadership role within the flight operations team at Reliable Robotics. You will provide direction to the team, and be a leading voice to help guide the development of our safety enhancing technology. You will work in a highly collaborative environment and coordinate with multiple engineering teams across the company to develop and execute flight test plans.
Responsibilities
In your role as Lead Test Pilot, your primary role will be to lead a team of highly motivated flight test pilots and engineers. You will also be responsible for developing and safely executing flight test plans in support of research and development efforts, and will fly the aircraft in both onboard and remote configurations. You will coordinate the training and scheduling of contract pilots, and help to ensure that all aspects of experimental flight operations are set up for safety and success. You will coordinate with Reliable's Part 135 airline operations to support standardization of pilot procedures across the organization. Throughout the development process, you will be instrumental in the execution of flight tests, data reviews, and proper operation of the system.
Basic Success Criteria
FAA Commercial Pilot ASEL with 1500 total flight hours, including at least 500 fixed wing and 500 turbine engine
Experience performing a secondary skillset while piloting (e.g. tactical aircraft, firefighting, cropdusting, SAR, ISR, law enforcement, etc.)
Current Second Class FAA Medical Certificate or higher
2+ years of experience in an aviation leadership role
Preferred Criteria
Graduate of an SETP recognized flight test school
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline or equivalent industry experience
Recent Caravan or PT6A experience
Diversity of experience in multiple aircraft/ airframes

POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of Operations and Manufacturing will own the end-to-end operational infrastructure required to bring Ripple's FDA-regulated cuffless blood pressure monitor to market and scale production. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives building from zero to one in a regulated environment: selecting contract manufacturers, standing up supply chains compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, establishing ISO 13485-certified quality management systems, and preparing for direct-to-patient fulfillment.
As a company preparing for 510(k) submission and commercial launch, this role is critical to ensuring we can reliably manufacture and deliver a high-quality, FDA-cleared medical device at scale. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in medical device manufacturing (particularly wearable or electro-optical devices), understands regulated hardware supply chains and design transfer, and can roll up their sleeves while building the team and processes for long-term growth.
This position reports directly to the CEO with high visibility to the leadership team and Board of Directors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing & Production
- Lead selection and onboarding of contract manufacturing partners with Class II medical device experience, including RFQ, quality audits, contract negotiation, and ongoing management.
- Own design transfer and manufacturing transfer, working with engineering on DFM principles, Device Master Record (DMR) requirements, and production readiness.
- Establish production planning, forecasting, and capacity management for V&V builds, pilot production, and volume manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement in yield, quality, and cost while maintaining FDA and ISO compliance.
- Oversee pilot runs and scale-up, including process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and manufacturing controls.
Supply Chain & Procurement
- Build and manage the end-to-end supply chain, including component sourcing, supplier qualification, and inventory management per FDA purchasing controls.
- Develop supplier relationships and negotiate terms while ensuring supply continuity, traceability, and risk mitigation.
- Implement inventory planning to balance working capital with service levels, including buffer strategies for Year 1 launch.
- Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks: component shortages, single-source dependencies, geopolitical factors, and logistics disruptions.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain and improve the ISO 13485-certified QMS in partnership with the quality and regulatory team, ensuring FDA 21 CFR Part 820 compliance.
- Support 510(k) submission activities related to manufacturing, including process validation documentation, DMR development, and device history records (DHR).
- Define incoming inspection, in-process controls, and final product testing consistent with the risk management file.
- Manage product certifications for a Class II device, including FDA registration, UDI compliance, and applicable international requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and CAPA for quality issues, ensuring post-market surveillance compliance.
Fulfillment & Logistics
- Design the direct-to-patient fulfillment strategy, including 3PL selection with FDA-cleared Class II device experience.
- Establish logistics and distribution for nationwide shipping of a regulated device with chain-of-custody and traceability.
- Develop returns, replacement, and warranty processes that balance patient experience, cost, and compliance.
Team & Organizational Development
- Start as an individual contributor who executes hands-on, then build and lead the operations team through 510(k) clearance and commercial launch.
- Establish operational metrics and dashboards for manufacturing, supply chain, and quality performance.
- Partner with finance on cost modeling, COGS optimization, and operational budgeting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, software, regulatory, and commercial teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7-12 years in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain, with 3-5+ years in medical devices (Class II preferred), wearables, or regulated hardware.
- Experience managing contract manufacturers for regulated medical devices, preferably in Asia and/or domestically.
- Experience at or with CMs/EMS providers (Flex, Jabil, Celestica, Plexus, Sanmina) in Class II medical device or wearable programs is a strong plus.
- Track record of design transfer and scaling production from pilot to volume for regulated products.
- ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 experience required.
- Familiarity with the 510(k) process and manufacturing documentation (process validations, DMR/DHR) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Based in California or travel up to 25%.

The MEP Systems Engineer will be responsible for the detailed design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and PV systems tailored for modular construction building systems. This role requires a deep understanding of MEP systems combined with practical experience in modular construction. You will collaborate closely with leadership, crossfunctional design and engineering teams to integrate all technical and user experience requirements into our designs to ensure optimal functionality, sustainability, and compliance with all regulations.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop integrated MEP systems for our new and existing designs including solar energy systems, including PV and ESS, optimized for prefabricated modular construction
- Ensure that solar and energy storage designs align with overall MEP system functionality and building energy requirements
- Lead the creation of comprehensive design documents, schematics, component material selections and system layouts, preferably using CAD and BIM software
- Provide technical leadership during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure systems meet design specifications and performance standards
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality, efficiency, and safety of both MEP and PV installations
- Collaborate closely with installation teams to facilitate seamless and efficient factory and onsite implementation of design

What We're Looking For
- Modular construction experience in factory builds, multi-mod, stackable and/or other hands on related experience.
- Licensed Electrician or Mechanical Contractor -and/or- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Solar and/or Plumbing System design
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices relevant to MEP and renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in design software such as Onshape, Revit, and/or other BIM methodologies preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs to changing technological and regulatory landscapes
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of driving project decisions and managing complex stakeholder relationships

As part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to expanding the aircraft's operational and functional capabilities. Responsibilities
In your role as a Systems Architect you will be responsible for the development and architectural design of prototypes and certifiable safety-critical flight systems in a dynamic start-up work environment.
You will have the following responsibilities:
Define new/novel functions necessary to control autonomous aircraft and manage contingencies
Define the relationship between the vehicle, pilot, and support system for remotely operated autonomous aircraft

As a Sr. Flight Guidance Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the guidance system, and your work will enable the integration of uncrewed aircraft into the National Airspace System.
Responsibilities
Define guidance system capabilities and requirements in collaboration with operations and pilot teams
Design guidance system features to integrate with flight control systems and pilot displays
Implement flight guidance algorithms in simulation and flight software
Reduce and analyze simulation, lab, and flight test data
Evaluate guidance system performance and behavior via simulation, hardware-in-loop, and flight test cases
Basic Success Criteria
MS in aerospace engineering, robotics, or equivalent field
8+ years professional experience developing guidance or motion planning algorithms for real-time vehicle systems
Professional C/C++ and Python software development experience
Excellent ability to communicate system behavior to end users
Preferred Criteria
PhD in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar advanced degree
Technical expertise in one of the following areas: motion planning, control systems, probability theory, optimization
Experience developing software for safety critical applications
Experience with Flight Management System certification
Current pilot, instrument or commercial rating

Job Description:
- As an Additive Manufacturing Specialist at Client, you will serve as a technical anchor for the Additive Manufacturing (AM) Lab, driving the end-to-end realization of complex autonomous vehicle prototypes.
- Beyond standard operation, you will act as a Design-for-Manufacturability (DfM) consultant to engineering teams and internal clients, optimizing builds for high-performance materials and mission-critical throughput, unlocking new speed of prototype delivery.
- You are responsible for the strategic health of the lab, including process optimization, equipment evaluations, planning, and the technical guidance of prototyping workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design Consultation & DfM: Actively support design reviews related to Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) with engineers to optimize geometries for SLA, SLS, and Polyjet; proactively identify failure risks in CAD models before they reach the build tray to minimize material waste.
- Process Engineering: Develop and document standardized build parameters and post-processing two essential workflows: Additive Manufacturing (primary) and Laser Cutting (secondary) to ensure repeatable, high-quality output across all AM and Laser Cutting platforms.
- Complex System Integration: Oversee the final assembly of high-fidelity prototypes, e.g. integrating 3D-printed components with CNC-machined parts and complex electronics.
- Post processing of prototype parts: Actively guide and execute post-processing work such as sanding, painting, inserts, dyeing and other part finishing related activities.
- Workflow Coordination: Facilitate the prioritization of incoming JIRA requests to ensure alignment with prototyping deadlines.
- Machine Maintenance, Repair and Troubleshooting: Quickly, safely and correctly troubleshoot, diagnose and lead repair activities (whether internally or externally) maximizing part throughput
- Technical Vendor Liaison: Act as a technical point of contact for vendor support, service coordination, and troubleshooting of Additive Manufacturing and Laser Cutting equipment.
- Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to share best practices on advanced AM techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design or Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience in high-stakes prototyping or advanced manufacturing environments, or equivalent.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in the chemical and thermal properties of advanced resins and powders (SLA, SLS, FDM, and Polyjet); proven ability to make quick and sound technical recommendations on AM materials, processes and applications.
- Advanced CAD: High proficiency in Solidworks, CATIA, specifically for fixture design and modifying complex assemblies for printability.
- Advanced CAM: High proficiency in part processing software, aka "slicers", such as Materialize Magics, GrabCAD Print (Stratasys) and / or Autodesk Fusion (AM build extensions); and/or similar.
- Precision Metrology: Demonstrated ability to perform quality control using precision measurement tools to validate part accuracy against GD&T requirements.
- Strategic Problem Solving: A proven track record of improving lab efficiency, reducing build failure rates, or streamlining post-processing cycles.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to drive outsized positive outcomes and impact through thoughtful, effective and regular cross-functional activities across other internal teams (CNC machining, Welding, etc.)
Bonus Qualifications:
- GD&T Proficiency: Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to ensure functional fitment of prototype assemblies.
- Fabrication Versatility: Meaningful experience in other prototyping methodologies like: MIG/TIG welding and CNC operation experience.
- Safety & Compliance: Experience implementing OSHA-compliant shop safety programs or hazardous material management (HazMat).
