About the Role

We’re looking for a Quality Director to lead and evolve our quality function as we scale regulated medical devices that incorporate AI/ML software. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and data science and will be critical in ensuring our products meet regulatory requirements while maintaining development velocity.

You’ll report to the VP of Quality & Regulatory and work closely with Engineering, Regulatory, Clinical, and Operations. The right person for this role is comfortable in a fast-moving environment and knows how to build practical, right-sized quality systems.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Quality Function

• Own and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead and develop a small but growing quality team
• Establish KPIs and reporting for executive leadership
• Serve as the quality voice at the leadership table

Ensure Regulatory Compliance

• Maintain compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and EU MDR
• Prepare for and lead FDA inspections, ISO surveillance audits, and notified body audits
• Support regulatory submissions from a quality perspective
• Monitor evolving FDA guidance on AI/ML-enabled devices and ensure alignment

Support Product Development

• Embed Design Controls into hardware and software development processes
• Ensure compliance with IEC 62304 for software lifecycle processes
• Oversee risk management activities (ISO 14971), including FMEA and hazard analysis
• Partner with Data Science teams on AI model lifecycle controls (training data management, model updates, change control, performance monitoring)

Post-Market & CAPA

• Oversee complaint handling, MDR reporting, and CAPA processes
• Drive investigations and ensure root cause analyses are thorough and actionable
• Use data trending to proactively identify quality risks

Supplier & Manufacturing Quality

• Establish and maintain supplier qualification and audit processes
• Oversee incoming inspection and production quality controls
• Partner with Operations to ensure scalable manufacturing processes

What you'll do

Experience

• 10+ years in quality roles within medical devices or regulated healthcare software
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity
• Direct experience with FDA inspections and ISO 13485 audits
• Experience supporting both hardware and software products
• Familiarity with AI/ML in a regulated environment strongly preferred

• Ensure continuity of supply. Set up long-term/ short-term capacity planning with supplier, partner with Operations and Material teams to schedule supply to meet Sonos's component demand.

• Collaborate with Product design and Engineering teams to review initial specifications of the parts/modules recommend sources to influence technical decisions in early phase of the program.

• Be able to manage multiple projects in parallel.

• Evaluate technical and business risks, analyze based on the data and create mitigation plans/alternatives.

• Need to support management of development builds, materials, and any risk to execute successful ramp in NPI stage.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing project team in Boston, MA. Position Summary:

The Associate Director, Quality Control will be responsible for providing strategic, scientific, and operational leadership for the development, qualification, validation, and lifecycle management of analytical methods supporting Upstream Bio’s lead program verekitug. This role will manage and execute GMP quality control (QC) activities directly related to batch release for clinical trial material supply. The leader in this role must assure that quality controls for investigational new drugs (investigational medicinal products) meet all quality requirements, regulatory standards, and meet continuous clinical supply and delivery expectations. The Associate Director will report to Senior Director of Analytical and serve as a key partner to Quality, CMC, Regulatory, and cross-functional teams. This individual will provide technical guidance and business acumen to ensure execution of analytical activities for late-stage programs through BLA/MAA submission, approval, and commercial launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author, review and approve analytical method procedures/SOPs
• Author, review and approve analytical method transfer/qualification/validation protocols and reports
• Manage external CDMOs and CROs to execute Development and GMP release and stability testing of Drug Substance and Drug Product in a compliant-manner
• Establish and manage reference standard and critical reagent programs
• Participate in the laboratory quality system activities such as internal audits, writing standard operating procedures, and documentation review.
• Perform data verification and audits in order to ensure accuracy of data and analytical processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs as well as global health authority guidelines.
• Create, analyze, verify, and approve QC data such as method validation, release and stability, results, reports, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Generate, review, and revise specifications, SOPs, and other QC laboratory and testing documentation.
• Lead Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), and Deviation investigations related to the QC laboratory and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are implemented.

Qualifications:

• Experience in stability study performance/evaluation and/or knowledge/familiarity with USP/compendial testing is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a diverse team environment are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software (Word / EXCEL / PowerPoint), Stability software and statistical analysis/trending to support shelf life and labeling is expected.

Knowledge and skills (general and technical) preferred:

• Broad background, strong comprehension, and demonstrated skills in analytical methods development/validation/transfer/similar, reference standards characterization/structural elucidation, and unknown identification.

Education level and/or relevant experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or allied health field (or equivalent degree) and 10+ years of demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects along with 7+ years relevant analytical experience in a cGMP-compliant pharmaceutical laboratory environment. Compensation

Target Salary Range: $176,400 - $215,600

*Base Compensation for this role will depend on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Bioinformatics Scientist – Antibody Discovery

• Analyse genomic, DNA-seq and RNA-seq datasets to support antibody discovery
• Apply bioinformatics and modelling approaches to evaluate and optimize antibody candidates
• Contribute to protein modelling and in-silico antibody engineering (e.g. liability remediation, biophysical optimization)
• Curate and integrate genomic datasets for companion animal species
• Collaborate closely with discovery biology and R&D teams

Key Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with therapeutic antibodies (essential)
• Experience analyzing next generation sequencing datasets (DNA / RNA-seq)
• Background in bioinformatics, computational biology or structural biology
• Familiarity with protein modelling / antibody engineering tools (e.g. MOLE, Rosetta or similar)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with scientific teams

About the Role

We’re looking for an Ecommerce / Website Product leader to own the full digital customer journey - from first click to purchase.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role responsible for improving conversion rate, reducing friction, and building a personalized shopping experience. You will own the website roadmap, partnering with the Head of Growth and a cross functional team of Creative, Engineering, Analytics, and external agencies.

This role is ideal for either a high-performing generalist (ex-consulting, MBA, strong business acumen) or a more traditional product leader with ecommerce experience. What matters most is analytical rigor, ownership, and a bias for action.

What You’ll Own

• Full ownership of website performance and roadmap
• End-to-end funnel optimization: landing page → PDP → cart → checkout
• Driving improvements in CVR, AOV, revenue per session, and contribution margin
• Building and executing a rigorous A/B testing roadmap
• Identifying conversion bottlenecks and quantifying revenue opportunity
• Creating personalized funnels by shopping use case, product type, and traffic source
• Website merchandising, product launches, and on-site promotions
• Managing external agencies to scope and ship improvements
• Establishing dashboards and reporting to measure impact and guide prioritization

Who You Are

• 3-8 years of experience in ecommerce, product, consulting, growth, or a related field (DTC experience strongly preferred)
• Extremely data-driven and comfortable digging into funnels, CVR, and cohort behavior
• Strong hypothesis-driven thinker who turns insights into structured test plans
• Proven experience running A/B tests and conversion optimization initiatives
• Operates with a high degree of ownership
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining a clear, ROI-driven roadmap
• Strong communicator - able to influence engineers, creatives, and leadership
• Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce analytics/testing tools is helpful
• MBA, consulting background, or top-tier startup experience is a plus
