Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize robust viral/non-viral vector purification process using advanced knowledge of column chromatography, filtration, and other downstream purification technology

• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams, e.g. CDMOs for tech transfer activities

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills: - Purification experience/ Protein Purification Chromatography
• Technical experience in modern analytical techniques such as spectrophotometry, ELISA, DLS, - Late-stage purification experience such as design space mapping and process robustness studies
• PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline or master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Technical experience in modern analytical techniques such as spectrophotometry, ELISA, DLS, Octet, QPCR/ddPCR, HPLC, and CE-SDS
• Significant experience, knowledge and understanding of purification technologies and operations such as:
• Filtration unit operations at various scales, including depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, etc.

• Familiarity with advanced purification technologies and process analytical technologies
• Familiarity with analytical method transfer, analytical method bridging across organizations
• Experience with process technology transfers and performing gap analyses and risk assessments
• Understanding of critical quality attributes and the principles of Quality by Design and ability to apply DOE to downstream development
• Expertise in technical report writing

About the Role

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Cesium chloride (CsCl) density gradient ultracentrifugation, ion-exchange chromatography, affinity purification, and tangential flow filtration (TFF), with a strong understanding of purification principles and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute purification processes including CsCl density gradient ultracentrifugation, affinity chromatography (e.g., AVB, CaptureSelect), ion-exchange chromatography (AEX, CEX), and other polishing steps.
• Operate AKTA systems (Avant, Pure, or Pilot) for small- to large-scale purification runs.
• Perform TFF operations for buffer exchange and concentration of intermediate or final products.
• Support experimental design, data collection, and documentation following established procedures and GMP/GLP best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and optimization of purification processes.
• Analyze in-process and purified samples using relevant analytical methods (e.g., UV, SDS-PAGE, ddPCR, ELISA, or HPLC).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with upstream, analytical, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

Role Summary

Rafi Properties is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager (ACPM) to support planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The ACPM acts as a liaison between stakeholders, tenants, subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel. 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and work plans.

Department and Staff Management:

• Obtain current labor rates.

Bid Activities:

• Review or compile GC's with the Senior Estimator and review with senior management.
• Assure on time delivery of bids and estimates, reviewing final plans and specifications with the Estimating team.
• Review of subcontractor selection and scopes and subcontractor/trade close outs on bid day.
• Review scope sheets and pricing with Estimating team members, ensuring that trade summary ties into bid form.
• Close out the subcontractor bid process.
• Review plans and specs with the lead Estimator.
• Assist the lead Estimator in directing additional staff assignments on bid day.
• Manage bid day activities by ensuring completion of bid forms, managing the clock and trying to develop a competitive advantage.
• Follow up with the client regarding bid results.
• Make Subcontractor, A/E fees, overhead, and fee recommendations to upper management.

Qualifications:

• Take, Store and Upload daily photographs representative of the days progress, calling particular attention to defects that require additional attention.
• Report any problems promptly to the Project Executive(s), Operations Manager and Vice President, as may be appropriate.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Assist team with the development and maintenance of the project schedule.
• Ensure that all work is performed consistent with the contract documents and will meet or exceed client expectations.
• Ensure that all subcontractors participate in a pre-construction meeting prior to starting work on the project.
• Ensure that all work is being performed in a quality and workmanlike manor.
• Work with Superintendent(s), General Superintendent and Project Executive to provide labor forecasts
• Prepare material take-offs and order materials
• Attend periodic meetings including owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, etc.
• Ensure that as-built working drawings are maintained as well as the current drawing log and revision log, communicating this to the subcontractors.

About the Role

This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of construction processes, and experience with energy-efficient, high-performance, or Passive House (PHIUS) construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
• Review blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design intent, including high-performance envelope and air-sealing details.
• Oversee implementation of Passive House / PHIUS standards, including air barrier continuity, thermal bridge mitigation, insulation detailing, and window/door installation best practices.
• Coordinate blower door testing, envelope inspections, and other quality control measures required for high-performance building certification.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize software tools such as Procore, MS Project, and Prolog for project management and documentation.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and sustainability goals.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor contracts, ensuring scope compliance and performance standards are achieved.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on construction practices, safety protocols, and high-performance building standards.
• Prepare regular reports on project progress, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7–10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
• Proven experience in residential and commercial construction, particularly in urban settings.
• Experience with Passive House, PHIUS, or other high-performance building standards strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of building science principles, including air sealing, thermal continuity, moisture management, and energy modeling coordination.
• Experience coordinating envelope testing (e.g., blower door testing) and working with HERS raters or PHIUS verifiers is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal building regulations.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
• Experience using construction management software such as Procore or Prolog is highly desirable.

Charter Contracting Company, LLC is looking for an experienced Superintendent in the New England area. Charter is a growing Boston based Civil/Environmental Remediation Contractor with job sites throughout New England. Types of projects include but are not limited to environmental remediation, demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, landfill cap and closures. All applicants must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated and willing to travel.

Candidates must have 5 plus years of experience as a Superintendent. Some of the major job duties include:

• Plan and supervise all field related activities, including determining method of construction sequencing activities
• Apply knowledge of applicable plans, specifications and project work scope
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the construction operation, including documentation of activities on a daily basis

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

• The base salary range for this role in Atlanta is $101,000.00 -$123,000.00.

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
